      @@rizasri I tried to make it, but I over cooked it and diddnt add enough lime. After it cooled, I could mould it and made it a flower (more of a blob 😅)

      Hello, as long as they are not in direct sunlight, they are fine left at room temperature. Refrigerate if you can :-)

    Just made this, it tastes AMAZING with milk. Just like the brown sugar dirty we love at our favorite bubble tea place, thank you!. I put the left overs in a mason jar, should I leave that out covered or in the fridge? I am concerned it will harden .

    I 💜 your video and I tried your recipe, and indeed it turned out thick just like in your video!! Buut in my case, after I let the syrup in room temp. for a while and it's not longer warm, the syrup became too thick and it wouldn't mix with the milk. Do you have any advice how to fix it???

      I did the same thing. So I put it back on the element over medium heat until it started to get runny again. Then I added about a 1/4 cup of water while stirring. After cooling it came out just fine!

      I would refrigerate it :-). Although once refrigerated the syrup will thicken and it won't be easy to pour but this is how I would do it. However, If you get the sauce right, it should be thick enough for walling. All the best!

      The syrup can be stored up to at least 1 month without refrigeration. Please check the other video on common mistakes in making brown sugar syrup. Also, you ma reheat the sugar syrup and add a bit of water.

    I made this perfectly with your instructions with the same color and consistency... looks good for decoration, but it tastes burnt and not appetizing.

      You might have over -caramelised at the beginning. Not many get it right first time :-)

      Hello, you might wish to check out this video for use of muscovado sugar ua-cam.com/video/37IwihgQobc/v-deo.html. but yes, you may simply replace the white sugar with muscovado sugar. Just be careful not to overcook at the first step! :-)

      Hello, it helps prevent the syrup from cystallising. You may try using slices of lime or lemon instead whilst simmering. :-)

      The brown or black colour does not come from the lemon. Lemon helps to prevent crystallisation. :-)

      No it wont. You are only putting a 'drop'. You may even just put slices of lemon in the brown sugar and take them off before you bottle. good luck

    Thank you so much but what I would do is I wouldn't use the metal to metal on the pan. You get some of the panda of the chemical in your materials inside of your syrup. My recommendation is to use a coded whisk
