I haven't had my indoor fireplace cleaned in years, nor have I made a fire in it in years, but I got a new outdoor fire pit. I'm looking forward to trying these out.
the best description i can give is "slightly like real wood" in regards to smell. If you burn a real log right after the difference is very noticeable.
Well. I live in a country that doesn't need a fire for winter, but still I curious what this Duraflame is for and why they (certain film) make a joke with this thing. They even cut it with an axe, like a real wood. I thought, that's the right way to use it, but I'm totally wrong. I found this videos for the tutorial. Facepalm on me.
Three years ago you paid only $24.99 for nine 5-pound logs? Really? Last week I paid $24.99 for four 5-pound logs. Why did the prices go up...they've skyrocketed.
Thought for the day! Which is nearly too funny for words LoL.. If you know they've been out for 20 years why in the heck are you searching youtube for them and watching videos on them!!!!!! Did you just get out of a long stretch and are new to the Internet?
Pure crap burn times are less than an hour stated, after following directions they just don't give you the time stated, yet duraflame will ask for photos and resend the same questions you answered and responded to so just don't buy it a waste of money.

You don't know how to burn wood fucktard.
You grind it on your teeth to start the fire moron.
I read that you shouldn't close the doors when burning them.

Just got a house with a fire place. Is there maintenance I should know about? What do you mean you have not had it cleaned?
@@kule510 It's a good idea to get the chimney cleaned by a chimney sweep every once in a while.
@@kule510 always clean before you fire one up for the season. Might want to clean it every month or so if you’re using it everyday. Just a quick clean
So how do you shut the fire off when you’re done?
What is the fireplace cover you use? I would like to buy one
How many can I put in there for more heat
Does it give off any strange odors?
Duraflame makes quality heating space heaters too, with appealing aesthetics.

Great video, thanks!
Is this toxic? It says to open a door but wondering if because there's toxic fumes? I tried using a regular log but it kept smoking the house up
Did you prime the flue
My fireplace has only screen to cover, would it be safe to use without a glass cover?
Why would you have a fire in a fireplace with the glass closed?
hey, can you review a 1974 Dodge Dart next?
this is the funniest comment i have ever seen in my entire life
Does it smell different when lighting up?
Like chemical or something or is it no different than wood?

They produce a foul smoke and smell! Never buy these things.

Are you suppose to leave the doors closed? Or can you have them open while the fire is going
This guy has no idea what he's doing lol..the doors stay OPEN..you close the screen but thats it. This way it gets needed air and warms the room
ye for those boys who came from the Supreme Collabo 🤯

Got 3hrs-9 logs pack for $21 today.
Got 9 pack of 6 pound logs at Costco for $32.99, inflation.
You only close the screen!! The doors stay OPEN..it needs air and thats how you get heat
ugh the time I write this comment dam smoke detectors are buzzing everywhere and I cant do anything about it
You have to make sure the flap is open in the chimney
@@edsferro615 omg thx I can finally solve my smoke detector problem after one year
