    I just burned my first one and unfortunately poked it when the flame went out to break it up. That created a ton of smoke. How long do you usually wait to break up or clean it up?

    I didn’t really think they burned. Well enough to light real wood very easily. They burned at both ends at best and the flames were small and not very hot. They would light solid fuel briquettes but I would normally just use kindling which you can get logs or coal going easily with. I only used them as I had
    Inherited them from a friend who used them on her outdoor wood burning stove. I found that I had to put a firefighter half way along them to keep it all alight . I wouldn’t bother if I was you.

    A small grate would allow air to feed from underneath logs. Two bricks and a grill top would be a low cost option.

    They said you are not supposed to put real wood on top of these. Has anyone ever tried to put real wood on top? And why do they say to not add wood? Also who is the dude singing that song, is it a cover? I couldn't find it anywhere and not crazy about the female version which I think is the original.

      I put real wood on top of it all the time. I essentially use it for an hour or two, and as it's starting to slow down, I keep it going w real wood!

    • @wazzup105
      @wazzup105 3 роки тому

      Tried it once. It went out because of the wind (made a hell of a lot of smoke while doing so). But that could have just been because of the cheap brand I was using. YMMV.
