Thank you for the shout out again! For the bottom of the pyramid, you can do inverse ramps that go to the center to give it like a diamond look... if you use the octagon center beam stacking trick and use diagonal beams from the center upward you can make all sorts of cool shapes. Congratz on your growth! you definitely deserve it! i wish i had your tenacity to bring quality videos like yours. I started working again so, i dont have much time on my hands to make guides, but i will soon!

You should hang one of those chandeliers in the center of the pyramid. I think that would look awesome at night. You could power it right there with a water wheel.
I thought about that, but the bright light cancels out the oxite lamps unfortunately. I'm making a new update to the pyramid in the new video tomorrow!

Great vid! 100% is true dedication to Icarus, I'm here for it if you're ready to do it! I'm here either way though :) enjoying the series, the member dedication is nice! I love how the oxite crystals/geodes just go really well with glass/water, it's a different kind of calming ambience.

I love your series. Just a tiny suggestion about the Member sings. Consider ensuring the same amount of characters for each sign by adding spaces to make all signs look the same tier (same font size)

Thanks for watching! The operations are good fun, but in open world it might be better to know what to bring ahead of time. A lot of the operations you will travel across the world, realize you need 100 things and have to travel back to your base to put them together
100% on the series. I wonder if the comfort radius extends upward? If so you could build a 2nd story, perhaps up to 6 stories since its radius is 6 floor pieces.. For a new content creator your doing phenomenal. 👍
Comfort extends 7 tiles in all directions including up/down. So the second story is a possibility for sure

It would be great if you can start with missions. I am really invested in your series. Your narration and explanation is really great. Also best part is that, you really respect the subscriber's advices and comments. Love this game and play it too. Also you can add Picture/Photos Frames as decorations. Geodes will be great too. Also, not sure, but maybe, the wooden floors give more Cozyness points. When you step on it and then press "Sleep" you get more buffs. Do check and clarify us. Also you can keep one outer row of floors made of glass. It may look really good.

I’m thinking geodes could look nice outside kind of illuminating the outer wall of the base. And I’ll have to double check if interior wood gives coziness, that would make sense!
That "items stack comfort buff" is why Valheim made it so that only unique items count. That way people don't just make a room with nothing but beds/thrones/rugs.
😆 yeah it may be a bit cheap. They very well may change the buffs. Some of the things like statues could use a buff in my opinion

The pyramid is epic. I think you may need to take a trip with the repair hammer ofter a storm. I think the glass at the corners 'leak', damaging the internal floors there.

Crafting and building in this game are amazing! You have to build a whole city! And craft all the weapons!
It is so great! I'm definitely planning on doing some more building out in different biomes, next up is going to be a house in the volcanic area
i like to use the rock oxcite lights, they don't use fuel and when place tightly in row they look awesome from distance

Surely I'm a month late, lol, but I'd love to see a 100%, I must admit though, from what I understand, some of those non-open world missions are a bit rough because of the grind to tier 4, but I'd love to see it!
I'm still on the fence! There is a TON of content to play through haha, but I love the game so honestly I wouldn't mind going for the 100%.
I have heard that you can stack multiple (woven?) rugs in the same place.
Ooh, that's a good idea. The thin woven rugs are ridiculously expensive for some reason haha so maybe I'll go with the thick version.

I think you should check out the explosive shotgun shells - just don't get too near as there is an area of damage.
Explosive ammo is definitely tempting. In hoard mode I think I'd blow up my own walls though 😆

@dannyrothko i just done this also and if you put the little hedgehogs all the way around the bottom they are a game changer especially if you have the extra damage talent and skill.
2 things.... The fireplace isn't centered..... Looks a little off( in my opinion)
And I really liked the roof piece poking though the chimney, it looked intentional to the design.

The roof piece poking out would have looked better if he was hanging something from it. But he didn't go that route.
Oh, good eye on the fireplace. I'll have to tweak that a bit. I can see the roof sticking through being nice as well, but I really like the look of the marble face of the fireplace too and wanted that all the way through the roof

100% run sounds fine.
And you did the power thing again were u misread the demand as only beeing 11750 when it's 15750, u gotta add the priority demand to the demand, again easy to spot just looking at top 2 power consumers of you, beeing deep drills with 10000 and deep freeze with 2500 demand, just add those two items of the demand and you already exceed the 11750 demand by 750.

@@dannyrothko yeah, reason beeing that you got, if i remember correctly, 4k in waterpower which at the time you opened the power demand were clogged, so they would deal with the extra priority demand, meaning you got a surplus of solar to the demand you got and a big buffer plus u shorten the night by sleeping. So the Power grid of yours will mostly be fine, however only as long as your not going to play through multiple nights with crafting.
As I said before, unless you skip (most of) the nights with day and night cycle beeing evenly split you would want double the solar power you use so the surplus power would charge the batteries with enough power to go through the night. Sleeping and mixing power sources, changing demands by crafting or not crafting and so on will change it of course. so as long as you skip every few nights it should work fin, if u don't you may or may not get into trouble with slowly emptying the batteries, esp. if the waterwheels also clog without you fixing it because your on a journey on the other side of the map or something.
Not something you have to fix or anything more meant as a tip/advice, to make you aware of, as i often see people struggle with the principle of solar + batteries, trying to add batteries to fix it and wondering why they still discharge "too fast" or slowly over time depending on how off the demand/surplus ratio is. And because i dislike the icarus way of displaying the power demand which may confuse people and mislead them, as it did with you (happened to me first time i used it too), thinking demand would include priority demand.
The tanks are really breaking the feng shui for me, maybe find a corner for that?

I'd prefer if all the comfort items increased the comfort a lot more and there were certain resource intensive items that vastly improve it. The way it is now the increases offered by even the best comfort items are minimal. So to improve your comfort to any meaningful level you pretty much have to plaster rugs and trophies all over the place. I don't really want to scatter dozens of duplicate rugs and trophies all over making my base look completely ruining the aesthetics of everything.
Seems Icarus may be making the same "comfort discovery" that Valheim did - start with spamming down items and then maybe move to unique items giving comfort.
To be fair - comfort items given little comfort encourages players to spam down lots of items. To each their own.

I wouldn't mind having to add a ton of items to get comfort up to where I want it, if there were a lot more variety in the items I could place. I just don't like having tons of duplicates of the same items all over the place.
Yeah I think it needs some rebalancing. My solution was to hide a ton of beds under the floor 😆

I actually can't remember if I've seen one on Prometheus. If there are, they'd be in the deep Arctic. We'll have to check that out, I definitely want a mammoth trophy
Why is this biome so purple?
Prometheus biomes all have a weird haze in them. The grasslands are super purple, especially early in the morning
