Yes that's a good point! I don't like going through the swamp though, the water and brambles slowing you down annoys me 😆
Action packed episode of popping pills, double cups, thumping, 2 missions and red exotic district.
Great episode! Don't forget that the exotic trees will "respawn" every 3 hours and move to a new location. In my playthrough I found three locations that seem to bounce a tree between them in that area. I'm not sure what triggers the countdown (finding the tree or completion of harvesting? maybe something else?). It'll be interesting to find out - hopefully the tree will stay put for you. Monument looks great!
Thank you! I will be doing my best to get all the red exotics from the tree we found and then some! I also didn't know there could be 3 trees at one time, I only thought 1 could exist between meteor showers so that is great news.
I agree with you on the pistol. I wanted to do a pistol main but it’s just too weak
In the previous patch notes there was mention of a new pistol, so hopefully it is much stronger. I'd like a revolver type
-All right the mounts are ready for the update, I would like to know if you can weaponize them that would be good so that they don't die easily.
-Man, those big worms look strong but died in two to three hits, shotgun is really OP.
-Making an outpost on a Vulcanic biome next, now we are expanding that's more like it, the map is still dark.
-Got a new vintage and got red exotics, another god-tier ep keep em coming.
Looking forward to seeing how the new Laica system lets us power the mounts up. And yes the shotgun is very awesome haha...

I still remember my first surprise encounter with the snow stalker...ugly knife fight ! A bit like the bear matador thing, but trying to always come at it's back. Thank god for health potions !

There are pheromone modules that speed up your mount. Swap your modules depending on your needs - speed/load/animal speed +++

There is a Red Exotic Tree just little bit further from the first Scan you did in the Lava Biome. In the Middle of 'K2'. Just by the upper pond on the hill/plateau. You would have to take an Organic Residue Cleanser as the harvested Red Exotics need to be stabilized before they can be shipped.
I think I didn't get a spawn in that spot near K2, I checked there and didn't find one. I'm definitely going to bring my organic cleanser out to the outpost base once we have it set up!

D5 has tunnel cave to swamp, on the plateau where you sprained your ankle heading home from mission.
Open worlds have 3 exotics nodes at any time. so scanner can show all 3 waypoints which can cause confusion
Ah, I didn't know that! In the next episode going up tomorrow I get a big surprise. I always thought there was only 1 at a time.
If you just pick up the animal you have just shot with your bow, you'll get the arrows back (if not broken). Drop the animal and you're good to go. This will not work if your 'G' slot is in use.

Can’t remember if you still have anything there or if it is flat but I reckon the contact device would look good in the centre of the octagon from a distance. Would look like a spire.

Should build your Moa platform above the radar - keeps you in the radar zone so you don't have Sol bothering you and the aggro draw of creatures brings them to you in the radar zone.

i like to set up shack bring a big cleaner machine, it take a hella long time to harvest also i think they weigh a lot less after processing
That is the plan for sure, I'm going to grab an orbital contact device so we can ship them directly from the outpost.
Wooden rain barrel has 300k storage and cheap to craft.
I do have a metal rain reservoir set up in the barn, I like the new water storage for sure.
@@dannyrothko yeah that has 150k and bit more resources, something similar to battery setup.

I might end up doing that, but for the first run through maybe up until we complete all the missions, I want to use the in-game items to find things like exotics

OK, question(s) again, if I may: Does the game let you develop broadcast power tech? The wireless sort? Or does it always have to be wired?
If you didn't have the repeller thing, could your base take damage from critters while you're away? Or does that area go quiet while you're not in range of it?
Unfortunately now wireless power yet but that is an awesome idea. Just wires for now. I'm all for a tesla tower or something like that.
Hunting and fishing lodge with trophies and fish tank? Are you going to 100% separately from this character or any plans on that.
I need the dreadwing vestige myself. There is a teenage caveworm as well, did you get one from the thumper section? I was thinking the early main mission had them spawn as well.
Swamp has 2% mammoth spawn in areas of pillars+, massive trophy. I'm not familiar if Prometheus has access to snow version.
If I'm doing the 100% it will be on this fresh start character for sure.
Do you use icarusintel? Has cave locations, and will have deep ore locations etc. Variations of deep are made at world creation.
My base is across the cove from your barn. That deep ore is also titanium for me, luckily platinum(for me) is right by that rock formation as well.
Exotic possible locations are on icarusintel as well. Might save some time scanning and searching
There are 4 possible spawn locations in N2 square.
I'm aware of icarusintel, for this playthrough I want to do as much as I can blind though. Maybe once we've done all the missions I'll start using it

Sure! Nothing to advanced, I have the preset "Epic" quality setting, 144 frame rate limit, 105 FOV, .3 motion blur. NVIDIA DLSS on performance mode, Nvidia reflex low latency on.
