Everytime you pull out the shotty aiming at the dog im thinking, he is going to kill that dog by accident one day.

The flashlight is good to use in your hand, for exploring caves and of course for an emergency, in case we run out of fuel elsewhere. To wear on your waist you have the biofuel lamp that works like a flashlight but more powerful, ideal for riding at night. Lantern for light around, Biofuel Lamp for focus, both for the waist and the small flashlight for exploration, keep it in your hand and point it wherever you want, very cool : )
I haven't tried the biofuel lamp before but might need to. They just added a new "charging station" for things like the flashlight, so hopefully more rechargeable light sources are coming.
I really enjoy petting my chicken, I almost do it daily ...great video man, love the morning sun on patio, very nice

I think they hot fixed the lantern thing. There was a small DL yesterday and mine is fixed.

This was a really great episode. I love seeing the possibilities with the animals. Laika is a really awesome update. I AM sad, however, that my 2 TB drive died so it will be awhile before I am able to get back to Prometheus. I'll have to live vicariously through your vids until then. More!

Oxide and stone deep vein added, probably hard to find on old map. Drill speed increased I believe, most in cave versions.

Good episode again !! Good information on the Taming process. Also just an Idea, how well we can do the "Daisy" mission with a pack of Wolves. Also can we tame a Jaguar/Leopard as well ?
That would be cool! I might try a mission or geyser with only wolves.
We can't tame Jaguars/Leopards yet unfortunately, only wolves and boars plus the normal mounts. Hopefully those come soon!
I heard they will nerf the flashlight and it will require batteries or some sort of renewable power, but i hope they make it last longer. i want helmet light attachments lol
You're right! Seeing they added a recharging station. Hopefully that means new lights are coming and it isn't just for the flashlight. Helmet light would be awesome!
the protection module is OP against bleeds and deep wounds. def recommend!

I sniped my first 2-3 pet wolfs aiming at other wolfs for bait, had to knife and be careful.

Yes the lights are turned on, unfortunately it seems like they're either weak or not fully implemented yet
Tried this recently, the grind is unreal, just slaughtering every creature I see, then iron is only found in fairly small amounts in these far apart caves and doesn't respawn?
And every damn thing requires a new crafting bench so your base needs to be huge and every storm you have to run home and spend 15 minutes chasing storm damage.
Just a miserable experience.
It can be tough for sure! Ores will respawn if you use a "thumper" to respawn them.
Find deep ore and use drill, concrete helps if end game, I like a fair amount of glass so I repair as well.
Flashlight bug was fixed with a hot fix.
Isn't the extra freezer storage from you maxing both storage increase talents? When you get the last one you should destroy all old storage and smelters, as the +10 storage and +15% smelting speed only applies to items crafter AFTER you get the talents... unless that's changed in patch?
The patch buffed the deep freeze from a standard 12 slots to a standard 24 slots. With my talent they all have 34 slots now!
Can you put lights in the water under the patio, or attach it to the bottom of the patio to illuminate the water?
You can definitely do that! Lights can even go underwater
i think there is a tunnel but im not sure. i have seen it on icarusintel i think
G8-G9 Is the only tunnel I'm aware of into Southern Glacial. Maybe they'll add some when they extend the map.
Could you tame 2 at the same time just in front of your base? I also have my base in the same place and I have found that the deterrent doesn't seem to work for me. I still have heaps of wolves, jaguar etc.
I could tame 2 at the same time potentially. I was just worried about keeping all the food there for both, and if one tames before the other they might aggro at each other and stop the taming process
I think they agro to the water with the fork and knife icon/debuff maybe overrides the deterrent.
artic wolves would be OP in the volcanic biome since most animals take extra damage from Frost, i haven't tested it yet but i am assuming it does frost damage to slow
My chicken and boar haven't been able to come up my ramp into main base. My old barn was ground level. Any recommendations? I tried leading with rope
@@hndsmdn put them on follow and go as far away from your base till they teleport to you. once they are unstuck, they should be able to follow you up the ramp. Also make sure its a ramp and not roof. there might be some issues with animal pathing on roof pieces
@@Infinity.Gaming2023 I tried ramps and stone steps, no damage to steps, won't teleport inside base, only to section on ground outside.
@@hndsmdn i need to see your base design, there might be something thats blocking their path maybe, i dont know.
@@Infinity.Gaming2023 wasn't sure if you were aware of any building piece bugs with them. I'm only experiencing issues with boar and chicken before he died lol.
How are you not getting sick from drinking water from the river early on?
When I first started the series, the water quality update hadn't been implemented yet. I'm using only purified water at this point
