Back in High School my Father bought me a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe in Vintage Burgundy with black bucket seats interior, 3sp C-4 Auto Trans and a 289 V8 2bbl!...I later fixed it up like a 66 Shelby GT350 Coupe!...I am Just Saying!...God Bless!
Absolutely regardless of all others, this is the most SICK looking mustang in a long time. And to ALLLLLLLLLL those people who said you can't boost the new 5.0, I would absolutely LOVE to hear WTF you have to say :) Okay my ego out of the way, every car will sell above MSRP, Ford is on top, true muslce car, not sports car (so no Corvette shit here) this is muscle>pony heritage, and nobody can touch it. Not one car, not any company, has a thing that can reflect what this car is. A true legend.
I guess I'll never understand this ongoing argument between Ford, Chevy and Mopar guys. They all make great powerful muscle cars. It's all about preference. No matter who makes the car it can always be made faster. That being said, this is the sexiest modern mustang there is. The styling is absolutely perfect! Looks mean just sitting still.
Always LOVED this car! You can clearly see where ford got they ideal for the 13/14 taillights. It would be cool to see this car vs the current s550 gt350. I would love to have this parked in my garage next to my 13 gt500!!
@boushey22 They realized the GT500 sales, this combined with the limited production of the Ford GT and the successes, gave them some insight. If they got it right, people would want it, it's no surprise they waited for the new 5.0's platform and technology. They didn't have to wait, they chose to, this was an extremely limited, rare, fine success. They had an obligation, to all enthusiasts, to get this right. It was the right time, the 2011 Mustang platform is Ford's best ever. Thx Mr. Shelby
I'm a vette fan and all I have to say is "God Bless Carol Shelby" for making yet another beautiful car come to life once more. Thought I was gunna talk smack huh.....lol.....even vette fans can love what Shelby does
I just purchased a 2014 Shelby GT 350 with CSM number 68. It’s a triple black convertible one of one made in 2014 if anybody has any information on this car I would greatly appreciate you getting a hold of me. Eight five nine, five five nine, one five five eight
If anyone knows who owns this Shelby GT350 specifically 2011 GT350 11350039 #39 I am trying to find the current owner and want to let person know I want to buy this #39 GT350 and yes I am very serious as its 'the one' that got away
And what about sound of petrol (even diesel) when u drivin' it? That noise, sweet sound that turn heads to your machine? The sound that scare every mothers and fathers who have daughters... They know from their time who and with what steal girls. I also can throw sunny days when i park my car out of garage to check oil, filters, adjust some revs, even mess hands with oil and take a ride, i always loved that smell from a machine.... Thats real deal about the cars.
I do agree with you. I am a diehard mustang/ford fan and will agree with eatmydust that the ford has done a great job with the solid rear in terms of driving everyday, but with the strength when it comes to straight line performance. As someone that drives a mustang with an irs, I can say there is a massive difference when you meet bumps in a corner, and that is a definite week spot that will never be fixed will a solid rear. Still though, the 2011 is a hands down winner compared to the camaro
This place is swarming with Ford fanboys that can't accept the truth, no wonder i get thumbed down for everything. Personaly i am a Chevy fan, loving the new look of the Tahoes and Suburbans. I own three ford explorers, (one is totaled), on has engine problems, it supposedly would top out at 200mph, which i find crazy, and know that my dad isn't giving it to me to drive, because of that fact. So i get a 2005 ford explorer tops out 120. I don't like either because of MPG, but thats me.
What's with the cheap two piece front bumper? It looks like a 2002 roush knock off. Also, does showing the Shelby logo over 25 times start to devalue it? Luv ya Shel but this one needs a little work still, back to the drawing board. The hood and billet grill are keepers though.
i think your the one who is bogus for comparing a corvette to a mustang ofcourse the corvette performs better its supposed too and for that price tag i would hope so, people buy mustangs for many reasons thats why it is the most bought sports car in america, you dont even have a car your mom drives you around in her mini van then when you get home from school you run to your computer and talk shit about cars you cant even afford, by the way look at the shelby1000 and the new cobra jet
what are you talking about why would somebody get mad because a corvette drove passed them, people in mustangs race corvettes on the street for the same reason people race other cars in there honda civic or old pick up truck that doesnt mean that the old pick up truck racing your car was meant to compete with it from the factory dumby, and the ford gt was never suppose to stay in production it was for fords 100th anniversary, the zr1 wasnt around when the ford gt was, but yes it will beat the gt
the zr1 is new the ford gt was made in 2005 to smoke chevy and thats exactly what it did they discontinued the model and it took chevy a few years just to catch up back when the frod gt was made there was only the z06 look up the mustang cobra jet package it runs a 9.95 1/4 mile from the factory and look at the new shelby1000 its a mustang with 1000hp from the factory in honor of carrol shelbys death both of those cars destroy anything government motors has ever put there hands on
The shelby's are SO disappointing! They have a lot of power and a stiff ride but they all weight close to or more than 4,000 pounds! The original GT350 was lightened, stiffened, the suspension wasn't just reworked with new springs, but the suspension geometry was improved! The new cars are factory tuners with a shelby logo, and that's it. Saying he won't do electric or hybrid because of his values is a joke. Shelby will sign anything that will make him money.
@IAteSomeCorn the challenger probably has the tamest sound of the mustang and camaro............ Mustang definitely still has that deep rumble that makes all the girlies soak their panties, although obviously not as much as before due to all the g** environmental restrictions... And the reason why there are so many mustangs (and they are mainly v6s and not GTs, even less cobras, so us GT owners are still very satisfied, cobras even more) is because they kick ass...
@xcrunnersrock Actually that's not entirely true, but I think I know what you mean. My point was that people were arguing the fact that this engine could be boosted, but they've all shut up since the discloser of the GT350, proving them wrong. Anyway there are many engines that technically cannot be boosted, however the way you say it is very open-ended. I don't know if you mean automotive engines, or all. If you mean all, then no. You cannot boost a Jet Engine, nor a Steam Engine, basically.
@clvikes76 umm if u think the the 2010 or 2011 mustang GT500 is gonna stand a chance against the new supercharged Z28 coming out..well my freind..let me say chevy has been as u say "touching" ford for a long time now..bout time they made a decent muscle car with some real power no gay 4.6 shit here i give them props!..but still chevy been kicking too much ass for too long to just lay down now lol
@zenman4000 and okay also the 2011 GT is bad ass its a great car!..but for everybody to be getting in a false hissy about it being faster than the 2010 camaro SS..they run the exact similar times!!!!..well except in the autos where the GT's seem to take a lead but for the manuals they actually run the same times ..so to say they are camaro killers's is in fact not a FACT!..if anything atleast for this curent year model they are their equals.
Heck yeah i didnt know mr. Shelby is still living! Thats like seeing mr. Ford talk about his cars. Mr. Shelby is a legend. And z71 z28 what ever it is. What the heck does it stand for? I mean it looks like they tried putting randoms letters togeather. At least fords fx4 stands for something. (ferinheightsx4
this is an amazing looking mustang..yet i have a feeling its performance will be less than that of the new supercharged camaro Z28 coming out..ford has made a few bad ass cars for 2011..it's great but i still say big deal! cause Chevy has'nt lost the pony car battle in no way, shape, or form lets see what the 2012 camaro SS has in store
@rouschno1 Just saying my opinion. I am sure it performs great with the new 5.0, but I just don't like the way it looks. Might look better with a different body kit. The bodykit that is on it is too long, so it makes it look really weird. Looks more like a Japanese version of a Stang. Not what a muscle car should look like.
Sorry people but i ain't getting that car because it's been too late for it. the GT500 is the real deal. but before i comment more shit, heres what i wonder. for you people from 45 years, which you think was the fastest? GT350 or GT500? reply to me for your answer.
My preference would still lean towards the original and the 500 looks-wise. A bit too much cladding... I wouldn't want my 'stang being mistaken for an overly-cladded import.
lmao do some research, google is your best friend the shelby1000 is factory just like the super snake that has 750hp from the factory lmr lingenfelter and hennessy isnt chevy im not talking about aftermarket just google "2012 shelby 1000"
compare a Shelby GT500 to a Z06 chovete, and a Hennessey HPE550 Camero, to a GT 500. Then you will see that even the cheapest car looks nicer and is faster.
@time2die99 GT350, its got stickier tires and can do 0-60 in 3.7 sec. and the quarter in 12.0 sec opposed to 4.2 sec. to 60 in the 500. However that was tested on the mid level 350, not the 600+ hp one.
I think that looks better than the latest GT500. And btw Ford won the 24 hours of le mans several times with the original GT40, which was designed by Shelby non the less.
It looks nice. But it has to cost north of $75k. I say the GT is the Mustang to have. A notmally aspirated car that will last 200k miles without too much trouble.
@GranTorino429 Where are you getting these numbers from? The car weighs almost 4,000 pounds. You arent getting it off the line that quick without drag radials.
GM. one uped the 4.6 Stang with a 6.2 Camaro, Now Ford one uped the 6.2 Camaro with a 5.0 Stang. The good thing is Ford didn't use any tax payer money to do it.
Carrol is a class act.... Though, I must say this isn't the most beautiful thing esthetically. Looks like a boy racer stang in my opinion. Wheels are horrible.
ok im confused, is this a limited time only kinda model or is this gonna replace the gt500? cause in the old days a gt350 wasnt supposed to be faster than a gt500
There is some cool and rare stuff on this car on eBay , just type in "Carroll Shelby personal collection of mine up for sale rare art and die casts" and it will come up
Sometimes I wish they wouldn't allow comments on any videos because you get people like Blank101ful who comment when they don't even know what they are talking about and nobody cares what they have to say. If you don't like Mustangs, then don't watch the video. Everytime I go to watch a Mustang video there is always that idiot who says "corvettes are better..." Grow up. R.I.P. Carroll Shelby, the GT350 is a monster and not to mention a legend and so is he!
Mustang fans/owners are bogus,,,corvette is better always has and always will,,it looks better, performs better, why would anybody buy a mustang? Oh forgot they cheaper but got more HP for nothing. The 2013 shelby still can't beat a Z06 in a mile race. I don't even know why you mentioned the ford gt that car gone,,out of production its history. Just something of the past. If it was about some shit it would still be around. I don't care what anniversary it was for.
no bruhh you dont get it mustang maybe beats camaro but by barely right there is no stang that can beat a vette bruhh why you keep liying to your self mustang has never beat vette everall im saying get your facts right where in the hell can stang beat vette where doesnt even run in the nurburgring track the laguna seca stang got beat by camaro in its own track so then they had to get the super snake to barely beat it it having 100 more hp and it can only get away in the straights
@KillaPillaP There is a difference between 0-60 miles and 0-100 km the sls amg does 0-60 in 3.5, and 0-100 in 3.8 so its actually 0.2 faster but for the money the gt350. And trust me its not gonna beat an sls amg around a track or 1/4 mile. But that being said im not arguing with you or saying your an idiot i dont do that especially on youtube just cause someone got their facts a little mix, and definitely for the money the gt350 is a better car im just helping you out with your info.
@Blank101ful I just did some research, the ford gt easily beat out the corvette zo6, and beat the zr1 for it's time, obviously the zr1 outclasses the ford gt now, but it was quite famous for being able to beat out dodge vipers, and chevrolet corvettes. Oh, and your pricing is off, it costed about 114K to 110K, it was figure six, but so was the zr1 (which is worth nowhere near that today).
Stock Ford GT will not be a stock Z06. Yea they keep they're value but $188,000 just to get smoked by a car that can be picked up for about $28,000 cashmoney used, is not a good buy. Sure it looks phenomenal but I'm pretty sure stock for stock the Z06 wins. To bring the ZR1 up the Ford GT will not come close to beating a ZR1. The ZR1 is a way better car than a Ford GT performance wise.
@Blank101ful Ford stoped making the gt because, it was a limited vehicle. There's a reason it has held it's value so well. Oh, and the Ford gt, for it's time, beat out any corvette, and it was quite famous for that, now when it comes to modern day cars, the ford gt is still able to beat out at least the z06, and come close to the zr1, so this just proves that the gt is the more practical car.
As far as the mustang goes,,when you say its not meant to be in the class of a corvette, that price is sure gettting into the class of a corvette. If you in the price range you better be bringing performance with it. Oh and lets not talk about that slow ass $88,000 supersnake thats just a GT500 with 140more hp. For that price a corvette or gtr is the only option mustangs are absolete and should never be over $42,000.
@SOFSoldier1 Go home man, you always show up in ford videos to post your senseless opinions about the mustang and your beloved challenger, then you call them facts, not only that, the actual facts you do post are wrong 90% of the time, like right now, this mustang cost around 60K. Also when the mustang was designed Iacocca worked for ford until he moved to chrysler, so you prove nothing there.
@jxtsful What's the engine size on the spirra? what's the hp and torque numbers? what's the verified lap times around the track? do you have anything to say besides argumentative bullshit? you have not produced 1 fact. face it, the spirra is garbage, & should be scrapped. lexus took less time to develop the lsa & at least it's decently competitive. it took 9 years to develop the spirra, & it sucks. you can run your a mouth about what you think, but the fact is the boss would rip it to pieces.
The Shelby isn't just a car; not to those of us who were around to watch it be born. It is absurd to use a metric like speed or acceleration to compare a Shelby to any other auto. A Shelby is to automobiles as Audry Hepburn is to other women. There simply is no way to compare. If you don't have one, you yearn. If you have one, you simply love it. No other auto can say that.
@1jamers you're right. that 1 very rare car pulled a high ten, but the corvette the mustangs routinely raced were still fast & regularly beaten. on the other hand even though they don't beat that time there are mustangs that pull between 11-13 which are still fast. the 94 mustang with the boss engine in it pulled even lower 10.5 at 1.35. It was a original mustang engine put in a newer mustang by ford's sve team. type this in youtube. Jack's Toys Episode 1: Boss 429 Mustang, see for yourself.
@1jamers you're wrong once again. first the ford 427 sohc was rated at well over 600. pretty close to 650 in fact. it was so bad ass that nascar banned the engine. It could also be found in a rare few of the ford galaxies of 1965, on top of that, the boss 429 which if you do a little research was actually more powerful than the pontiac. That engine was dropped into a 1994 ford mustang and was rated at 830 hp. so once again, WRONG!
@1jamers wrong on both. first, the Pontiac was not what kept muscle cars alive, in fact it was Pontiac's swansong, or last hurrah. As for the first muscle car, it could easily be argued that the the 1950's t-bird was the first. yes ford does make 4 cylinders as well because they want to conquer everything. the ls9 is not the most powerful engine, and for the record if it didn't include the super charger it wouldn't be as fast as it is. ford had that engine beat back in the 60's w/ the 427 SOHC.
@1jamers chevy and dodge did do a good job. especially on the dodge challenger. love that car, but neither of them can do what ford can do. it took a 6.4 liter from dodge and a 6.2 liter from chevy just to keep up with ford's 5 liter. ford still does better with a smaller engine. the beating heart of the muscle car industry has never stopped. it's ford, so face it. when ALL other muscle cars quit for years between the 70's-90's for chevy and 70's -2000's for dodge, it was ford who kept going.
@renardthatch i hope so because thats kind of embarrassing that the gt500 with more power and bigger displacement and not outperforming the gt350... maybe its because the gt350 has wider tires to get power to the ground, but rumours saying that ford is bringing back the ford gt, maybe thats getting the 6.2 to compete with the zr1.....I hope the next supersnake smoke the crap out of the gtr
i like corvettes but comparing a stang to one is like comparing apples with grapes, you cant do that... corvette competition was the ford gt which are both aero dynamic to get better speed.. mustang is suppose to compete with challenger, camaro,m3 or m6... the only way to compare it if it had awd like the gtr which is the reason why its so fast, if it was rwd it would be in mustang category.
@MutualAcquaintance lol the pony mustang vs a monster corvette? What world are you from? When will a stang out handle a vette? Never. What mustang is faster than a base C6? The GT500? They both posted similar numbers which in reality was a driver race. Range got a bone Stock Z06 in high 10's. What mustang is faster than a Z06? None. How about a ZR1? We won't go there. I'd love to see a new 5.0 try and race a C6 LS2 or LS3. We both know the outcome.
@PaffProductions you realize the corvette is not in the same class right?! its the camaro vs the mustang and the mustang with whipe the track with the camaro. not to mention it is the corvette "grand sport" not grand tour. and the corvette is nothing special to begin with. the gt350, if it posts the same numbers they talked about on this vid, will outrun a corvette grandsport and probably a z06. im not sure about the zr1 but i would take a gt350 over a zr1 ANYDAY!
@alexkeller39 Well I know a lot of people that wanted the GTO. It was built in Austrailia. The Corvette is made up of parts from all over the world. I think a lot of people like the Corvette. And I do "work" for an American car company. I'm tech number A01 at Hometown Ford in AL. All I know is, is that if I buy ANY American car, no matter what model, it better be built here, with parts made here. Not a car whored out to seven countries.
@msbaugh440 you forgot about the ford gt? O_o!!! hahahaha!!!! why are people forgetting about the ford gt? that car will smoke the zr1 or zo6 also the piece of shit viper.... muscle are camaro, challenger also cobra... racing are the vett, viper, and the gt. and the ford gt will smoke all them check it out yourself on youtube. can't wait for the new concept of the ford gt that thing is a beast!!!!
@blueovalthunder4d since when do you get to decide if the corvette is a sports car or muscle car? Its a small car with a big V8 engine made by an american company. its not a pony car... but I sure as hell would consider it american muscle. There is nothing wrong with comparing a corvette and mustang. The new 5.0 will cost around 40k... same price as a corvette. Both around 400 hp. Whats wrong with comparing? Corvette is an american muscle legend. where have you been the past 40 years?
@DSMeclipsegst I think that Eclipse video is gone dude. I do have to say though that that when it comes ot bored and stroked blocks Prostock is actual not bored out that much. Think about it, the blocks they use are a tall deck version of the 454 big block chevy (502ci) that most Prostock builders actually de-stroke for better high rpm power, which is where NA hp is made. Plus the 502 is a factory engine that was put into thousands of fullsize chevy trucks through 1998.
But I've yet to see a street tuner (4 or 6 cylinders) make that same amount of power. Dollar per dollar the power of a V8 is just stupid easy to make. I have just a tick over 4k in my LQ9, including the $1,200 i spent buying it at a salvage yard. Now if I added a home built turbo setup to that, then 700-800hp is easy. Maybe not reliable on a stock bottom end but still possible. Think about it. That's getting close to 1000hp for just about $10k, you just can't beat that.
Even my beloved 6G72TT won't make that jump without turning up the boost, not to mention the amount of torque that pins you to your seat at any given moment. And as far as I know that hasn't happened with a 4G63 either. On a side note, I don't know if I by the 6's on a bone stock block myself. I believe in good power out 4 cylinders, but if that were possible then why is it that most of that power is never seen on a street car. There are street V8's making 1/4 the power of a Top Fuel Dragster.
And most would agree that the V8 platform is the best balance between extreme cylinder count (displacement), and cripling wieght (the limit). Now that being said I have to hand it to chevy for the LS/LQ line of engines. Just did a cam and intake swap on my 6.0L LQ9, other than that it's bone ass stock.. With just that it's making 514 at the crank right now. I just find it all but impossible to get that kind of power increase for 6 & 4 cylinder engines for so little effort.
I know I'm late in this debate/dick measuring contest, but as a DSM lover AND an American Muscle lover, i hope you don't take my opinion to far. First my thoughts on The Z28. Yes Chevy will be supercharging the new Z28. Wether it's a supercharded V8 or (just a rumor) a turbo version of the baseline V6. So the GT 350 being supercharged is very appropriate. As for the V8 vs 4banger arguement. The laws of physics even show that the more displacement the more power, although there is a limit.
@EatmyDust1311 Oh I agree with you completely, trying to see around the massive C-pillar whilst in a city is a nightmare. The Mustang certainly wins there, but I was only comparing performance. The live axle may be viable for generally normal driving, or even spirited driving on a very smooth road, but it does dances mid-corner if you find a bump. That gets scary at speed. Until the 2011 Mustang gets here, I'd take the Camaro for a race. As my only car though, I think I'd still take the Mustang.
@EatmyDust1311 I've driven the 2010 version of both cars. The 2010 Mustang has a number of upgrades from the last GT that I drove (a 2005), but that live axle still makes it jumpy in the corners, and I don't really go for that with these New England roads. There are optionally different axle ratios, and various brake packages, but the Camaro still comes out on top. The Mustang and Camaro are both 0.92 G on the skidpad, but the Camaro can absorb mid-corner bumps, and the Mustang generally can't.
Carrol Shelby...Thank U 4 really awesome cars like G500 and SuperSnake.
Sir, I applaud U...R.I.P....U wont' be forgotten
I love the shot he took at electric cars at the end. Carroll Shelby is the man.
I'm gonna go ahead Wack off!
See you guys in little bit
Did you ever finish or are you still at it?
I'm a Chevy guy, but i love the Shelby Mustangs, pure beauty what he did with them.
And to ALLLLLLLLLL those people who said you can't boost the new 5.0, I would absolutely LOVE to hear WTF you have to say :)

What a car, what a man. Thank you for everything Mr Carroll Shelby, you are sure missed.
Shelby was the GOAT rip .
ɷɷ Heey Friendssss I Have Foundd Workinggg Online Hacck visittttt : - t.co/d68zyW0v4u
Ike The Don Ik what legend and awesome man may he RIP he is dearly missed
Always LOVED this car! You can clearly see where ford got they ideal for the 13/14 taillights. It would be cool to see this car vs the current s550 gt350. I would love to have this parked in my garage next to my 13 gt500!!
RIP Carroll Shelby , You will be missed by all of us Mustang fans
Nice 'Stang, Imstill glad ol' Carol is still alive making these astonishing "snakes!"
This is the GT350 I want. The new ones from Ford are good and all but I'm not really a fan of flat-plane crankshafts.
Noah Bailey WHAT. 8250 RPM.
I love the exhaust note on this car .
@boushey22
They realized the GT500 sales, this combined with the limited production of the Ford GT and the successes, gave them some insight. They didn't have to wait, they chose to, this was an extremely limited, rare, fine success. They had an obligation, to all enthusiasts, to get this right. Thx Mr. Shelby
Best part @ 5:18. R.i.p carrol Shelby
I'm a vette fan and all I have to say is "God Bless Carol Shelby" for making yet another beautiful car come to life once more.
Thought I was gunna talk smack huh.....lol.....even vette fans can love what Shelby does
Wonder what he would of thought of the new GT350 in the S550.
What a car! This man, I mean Mr. Shelby builds the baddest Mustangs on the planet. Bar none.
Mustang=Best American Car Ever Made
Camaro=Tries to Hard to Be What the Mustang Is
If only he saw the 2015-2020 gt350s...
Thank you very much Mr. Shelby for not building a lithium ion powered hot rod.
Man I wish I could get one of those 427 s/c replicas that would be so awesome I didn't even know they made replicas
I just purchased a 2014 Shelby GT 350 with CSM number 68. It’s a triple black convertible one of one made in 2014 if anybody has any information on this car I would greatly appreciate you getting a hold of me. Eight five nine, five five nine, one five five eight

@retronintendo Without the supercharger... thats right, didn't think so.
This thing is a joke compared to the 2016+ GT350s. Shelby American does not know how to design cars. Leave it to Ford Performance.
MUCH MUCH MORE like the lowly 07 shelby GT- AS it is much cleaner, with it's LOW END TORQUE-
I think this is the first domestic car I would buy over an import Supra, Rx-7 etc.
FINALLY AMERICA MAKES CAR I LIKE AGAIN! WOOOOOOT
Lol I never wish someone to be fired, but let’s hope this dude got reassigned I love the personality of Johnny and the guys
What's with the cheap two piece front bumper? It looks like a 2002 roush knock off. Also, does showing the Shelby logo over 25 times start to devalue it? Luv ya Shel but this one needs a little work still, back to the drawing board. The hood and billet grill are keepers though.
Styling on this car was terrible. Very plasticky looking add ons. Makes it look cheap and flimsy.
Remember. The 1965 GT - 350 was a detuned race car for the street.
This was a miss on Ford's part, I'm glad they redeemed themselves.
i think your the one who is bogus for comparing a corvette to a mustang ofcourse the corvette performs better its supposed too and for that price tag i would hope so, people buy mustangs for many reasons thats why it is the most bought sports car in america, you dont even have a car your mom drives you around in her mini van then when you get home from school you run to your computer and talk shit about cars you cant even afford, by the way look at the shelby1000 and the new cobra jet
what are you talking about why would somebody get mad because a corvette drove passed them, people in mustangs race corvettes on the street for the same reason people race other cars in there honda civic or old pick up truck that doesnt mean that the old pick up truck racing your car was meant to compete with it from the factory dumby, and the ford gt was never suppose to stay in production it was for fords 100th anniversary, the zr1 wasnt around when the ford gt was, but yes it will beat the gt
the zr1 is new the ford gt was made in 2005 to smoke chevy and thats exactly what it did they discontinued the model and it took chevy a few years just to catch up back when the frod gt was made there was only the z06 look up the mustang cobra jet package it runs a 9.95 1/4 mile from the factory and look at the new shelby1000 its a mustang with 1000hp from the factory in honor of carrol shelbys death both of those cars destroy anything government motors has ever put there hands on
The shelby's are SO disappointing!
@zenman4000 and okay also the 2011 GT is bad ass its a great car!..but for everybody to be getting in a false hissy about it being faster than the 2010 camaro SS..they run the exact similar times!!!!..well except in the autos where the GT's seem to take a lead but for the manuals they actually run the same times ..so to say they are camaro killers's is in fact not a FACT!..if anything atleast for this curent year model they are their equals.
i think the 350 looks and sounds way sicker
@608gamer07 MT says it etimates 0-60 in 4.2 and a curb weight of 3950. Add a driver and it's 4000 pounds.
lmao do some research, google is your best friend the shelby1000 is factory just like the super snake that has 750hp from the factory lmr lingenfelter and hennessy isnt chevy im not talking about aftermarket just google "2012 shelby 1000"
compare a Shelby GT500 to a Z06 chovete, and a Hennessey HPE550 Camero, to a GT 500.
All Ford Racing bolt-ons, so you're paying for Shelby's name. Not like he has a racing program now validating the designs or heritage.
the best looking mustang i've ever seen in recent years... BRavo Shelby ! this is a masterpiece... uuuuuuuuhhhhh look at how sexy it is....
FORD
eats dodges
shits chevys
lol
I don't mean it's ugly, I meant the fascia of this car looks sad. It doesn't have an aggressive look, like the GT500.
how much would one of those hand-made cobras cost? i mean i'd love to have one myself.. but im pretty sure you'd have to be jay leno's protege'
I love that Borla Exaust!
nice!!!
500 + hp...
dam.
lol, i cant decide...... either Mercedes-Benz C63 or this..... :/
hard descision...
no offense to shelby or the mustang, but this just dosent appeal to me at all it looks so awkward and i think its truly ugly
it love this guys electric cars suck the only cool car would be a piston driven hydrogen power car after we run out of oil :(
There is some cool and rare stuff on this car on eBay , just type in "Carroll Shelby personal collection of mine up for sale rare art and die casts" and it will come up
Question, it is usually a Mustang trend to have a functionless hood scoop, does this scoop actually serve a purpose?
Sometimes I wish they wouldn't allow comments on any videos because you get people like Blank101ful who comment when they don't even know what they are talking about and nobody cares what they have to say. If you don't like Mustangs, then don't watch the video. Everytime I go to watch a Mustang video there is always that idiot who says "corvettes are better..."
Grow up.
@EatmyDust1311
Oh I agree with you completely, trying to see around the massive C-pillar whilst in a city is a nightmare.
@EatmyDust1311
I've driven the 2010 version of both cars.
