I am seventy and have been detecting over 20 years. Besides some trip to the( I live in NY) south I pretty much gave it up. Watching you and Kurt franz(hoover boys) I re-kindled my interest. This year my group (vietnam veterans archeological assoc. of america) grew to almost 10 guys and we have found more than ever...thanx Brad
Brad, i love watching you dig holes and find amazing things, but the best thing is when you are in the woods, i feel like i am right there with you when you scan the area around you. I have always loved being in the woods and discovering things. Never had the chance to dig for bottles or metel, little old now to do that. lol. I now have over 25,000 miles 4 wheeling all over Maine under my belt. I have slowed down a bit now, but still go once in awhile and i do head for the trails through the woods. Greenville, Jackman, The Forks, and even the Sunrise Trail past Machias. Loved the Christmas lights show you added.

Found my first musket balls, yeah two musket balls (!!) within 3 feet of each other (1 dropped, 1 fired) at low tide in Northern New Brunswick on Christmas day. Called the town museum and they said they would put em on display cause they don't have any yet! Woot woot! Happy New Year!

Your first sap spout looks like the spout patented by my great-great Uncle Alonzo Foster of Cabot, Vermont (1830-1914). Sugaring was a major crop for this Vermont farmer and he patented items useful for the industry. My best wishes for 2023!

Please open a museum of you finds. A small storefront in town would be well worth a detour to view, plus the accompanying video you shot! You and Eddie are a great team of friends.
