Maybe showcase some more obscure examples, I bet your dad has access to some exotic firearms! A video about a rare gun with a pretty girl will get a ton of views!

Since you want to learn more about guns, do some take down videos especially since you can get your hands on more unique guns(or so it may seem)! The best way to learn about how something works is to tinker with it, in my opinion(well and safely of course in this case).

not many UA-camrs go 11 min in one take. Confidence comes with time, experience, and editing. You'll get there. Here's a few ideas for a show. Your first rifle(hopefully you still have it) and why you (or your parents) chose it for you. What gun scares you (if any) to shoot, and maybe find it and shoot it. What your idea of an ideal gun setup is for hunting, three gun, or just range/every day. And lastly build a gun from start to finish and shoot it (fast motion build)

FYI, Loved one second after, the sequel was good but not as good. Keep going with the videos, any insight on your experiences with firearms, work, female perspective, advice for guys with their girlfriends, etc.. Texas de Brazil is generally good, but some days they ignore you when they realize you are going to eat them out of all profits; a little brazilian joint in Aukland NewZealand was actually the best rodizio I had, it was actually reasonably cheap compared to porcao and texas. p.s. stay safe and have fun

Your videos are great because they are you just being yourself. I think you're a huge channel waiting to happen when you figure out your niche in this. I think it would be cool seeing you shooting everything there is in .50 cal. There are even the .50 cal black powder pistols that are fun to shoot as well as the rifles. But the list definitely doesn't stop there! But it just seems fitting for a gal called 50 cal Val.

The more videos you make the more comfortable you will get. Think of your best friends and your talking to them.. About the only thing I could really recommend is a good tripod. I and very fond of the light weight Bogen tripods my self. Keep making videos and being yourself.
What are you studying currently in college? Also, I enjoy what videos you have. It's always nice when I see a UA-camr that is authentic in their personality. To be honest awkwardness is nice, at least for me it is. I hope you keep making videos and good luck I'm your studies!
Nice to get to know some of the just normal people things not just the channel content. Would be cool to see some of the more obscure or harder to find firearms, AK-107, VSS Vintorez, or something with a large chambering 338 lapua or maybe 416 Barret.

Also, I'd love you to try some of the high end Chinese high mountain spring green teas like lung chi or oolong. They can run $200/oz., but there's NOTHING like it..)

Wow, Val! You're quite famous even before starting your own channel, or me finding you here. Your father, is brilliant. I'm a gun part designer and engineer, and known about you for quite some time. I haven't watched any videos yet, but saw you comment on "The Homemade Gun Channel", which use to be another channel.. His comments, regarding youtube sinking, is quite upsetting. Anyways, I just found your channel and subbed. My wife is a huge gun enthusiast as well, so I'll turn her onto your channel. Your reputation proceeds you for sure. Can't believe I didn't find your channel before. You guys make some amazing guns. Unfortunately, some of them are banned in my absurd state, so I'm stuck just drooling. We will be moving to a free state soon, North Carolina, here we come.. So I may be a future customer very soon. We will be purchasing a house and property soon, so will be glad to send my business your way very soon. Be confident. The most awkward thing you do is call attention to thinking you're awkward. As for what to do, you're interested in the French language (any advanced language study requires knowledge of culture and history) and have access to just about any gun, so if you're looking for a crossover, maybe focus on French and Walloon Belgian (hint: FNH) guns, especially full auto. Or give up on the subs you got from your dad and RoyalNonesuch and pursue your own interests.

The main point is to learn more about firearms so that I'm better prepared for working at the family business after college, which is something that I'd like to do. Thanks for the advice!

It is pretty weird when you first start a channel. Talking to yourself in front of a camera takes some getting used to. Although my channel is not about guns, it is the same concept. I have to deal with people at stop lights staring at me while I talk to myself haha. I planned on starting a gun channel, but my channel and college keep me pretty busy. Keep up the good work!

Wow, Val! You're quite famous even before starting your own channel, or me finding you here. Your father, is brilliant. I'm a gun part designer and engineer, and known about you for quite some time. I haven't watched any videos yet, but saw you comment on "The Homemade Gun Channel", which use to be another channel.. His comments, regarding youtube sinking, is quite upsetting. Anyways, I just found your channel and subbed. My wife is a huge gun enthusiast as well, so I'll turn her onto your channel. Your reputation proceeds you for sure. Can't believe I didn't find your channel before. You guys make some amazing guns. Unfortunately, some of them are banned in my absurd state, so I'm stuck just drooling.

Be confident. The most awkward thing you do is call attention to thinking you're awkward. As for what to do, you're interested in the French language (any advanced language study requires knowledge of culture and history) and have access to just about any gun, so if you're looking for a crossover, maybe focus on French and Walloon Belgian (hint: FNH) guns, especially full auto. Or give up on the subs you got from your dad and RoyalNonesuch and pursue your own interests.
+timewave02012 I mean, I'm interested in French, though it's not necessarily something I want this channel to be based upon. The main point is to learn more about firearms so that I'm better prepared for working at the family business after college, which is something that I'd like to do. Thanks for the advice!

It is pretty weird when you first start a channel. Talking to yourself in front of a camera takes some getting used to. Although my channel is not about guns, it is the same concept. I have to deal with people at stop lights staring at me while I talk to myself haha.
I planned on starting a gun channel, but my channel and college keep me pretty busy.
