Which HPFP would you recommend for a N55 in a M235i? Gonna run a Stage 2 tune. Intercooler, downpipe, boost pipe, charge pipe, muffler delete, intake.
for downpipe, you also select aftermarket if you bought a catted one? there are no options for “high flow catted”

I’m new to a lot of this but am I seeing it correctly? That MHD doesn’t offer for 2014 428i? What engine code would I be looking for N20 or B48? If so I guess I have to do Bootmod3. I wanted to save the money since you said they are about the same. Sucks it’s so damn much.

@@stephenlozano2816 that’s what I’ve been debating on. I’ve got an intake, res delete, and exhaust on mine. Kinda thinking before tubing I do the charge pipes, intercooler, and downpipe.

Running xHP , MG flasher stage 1+ , 94OCT/100RON, Max Cooling on the fly, Burble on the fly, Switchable Maps on the fly. Al this on a Xdrive 440i lci MPSK. The torque is mental, with almost no lag at all. Maybe you can look into this platform?

How come the cel won’t go away with stage 2 carless dp. The O2 sensor code keeps coming back. Is there an option I’m missing? I have the full license.
I think the B58 exhaust tone in the F30 340i sounds much better and deeper than in the Supra

The mhd adapter also works with bootmod3 like the Kies wifi adapter..
I’m about to tune my M40i this week. So you think when it comes to ots flashes you’d stick with mhd? Seems like bm3 has made some strides with their ots tunes as of lately, but from what I’ve read mhd seems to be the more popular and reliable choice. Great videos by the way! Very helpful.

I have MHD, i find it really easy too use, i also like datazap with mhd for data logging too, its all very simple

3. Not planning to use Flexfuel/port injection
4. In my area I use 91 V power Nitro from Shell

1. Which tune should be a good fit for my car? BM3 or MHD?
2. for cold air intake - Eventuri or MSS would be a good fit for my car?

2018 DME is locked is crazy. I thought they only locked 2019 above
The only bad thing on mhd is that it doesnt have anything for the b48 and thats why some people like me dont have any choise then choose bm3

Question. I'm running the E-20 Stage 2 Plus map (N55) and targeting a 27% ethanol mix (yes I test it, but only the flex fuel while assuming 10% for 93 pump gas). Runs great but does anyone know if it would be better to actually target lower like say 22%?
Why are you targeting 27% instead of just 30?

@@chrisgarret3285 you can run e30 just fine on stock hpfp. E50 you’d probably need to upgrade your hpfp
@@finemperor3694 ok, then how do you feel about e30 on a e20 map? I looked at the datalog seemed good to me, I didn't see any timing corrections or anything else out of whack but it wasn't a true pull wasn't pushing it to near readline as much as I was jut doing some random pulls
@@chrisgarret3285 I mean if it’s a e20 map I’d try to just stick with something around e20. You’re definitely still making more power.
Hi I just bought MHD súper license I tune my BMW X5 35i 2012 for the first time stage 1 I did all the steps after flashing the car im getting misfiring codes check engine light is on the car is shaking a lot im getting these errors 0x35BE dme coding missing or chassis number wrong,0x2EFE combustion misfiring multiple cylinders detected,0x2f03 combustion misfiring cylinder 5 detected and a lot more errors the car starts and runs but shakes a lot at idle what should I do now, I just flash back to stock and it fail during the process i put new spark plugs and coils and it still the same I really want my car back how it was before what should I do?
Hey im new here but have a serious question for you.....i have a 2013-535i xdrive auto 8spd.....when you bought your....MHD (SUPER LICENSE).....did you still have to pay for the ....(MAP PACKS) and (MONITOR LOGGING) since the SUPER LICENSE IS SO EXPENSIVE.....i thought that if i just bought ....2 THINGS.....SUPER LICENSE AND WIFI ADAPTOR....that would be it....can u let me know ....thanks....BMW FOREVER

great vid! Was really looking forward to the times for MHD on the same car with both tunes to really see if one is slightly faster than the other. Currently on BM3 since thats what came with my car when I bought it but am kind of curious to try MHD if theres even a slight bump in power and consistency.
Never tried mhd. Only used bot mod and yes you are correct about the connection issues.
Are the trans tunes worth it to get BM3?

Running stage 2+ MHD on my 435i and that cooling option checked. It does take forever to get to temp. Might have to take that off. Boost is a little high.. I think it's at 20psi according to pm3 and might go to stage 2.
How’s it holding up? Just flashed my 540 with upgraded FI catback exhaust
@@mrcuboid still running strong. Did just replace both o2 sensors due to a running lean cel. Daily driver on stage 2 with stage 2 transmission flash. Boost is sitting at 18 psi which is much better than the 20 I kept seeing

How do you feel about a stage 2 or 2+ for a daily? I want to flash my 335 but it’s my daily and I have no problems with it and my worry is I tune and problems arise. It’s fully bolted at this moment
No problems whatsoever, i daily a 435i full bolt ons with bootmod3 stage 2 tune and its reliable

Confused. Sounded like they run same power, but you like MHD platform more. So, why running BM3? Just for the features not yet present on MHD?
I’m not running bm3 right now. I’m running Mhd. My first custom tune will be on bm3 (tuner of choice prefers bm3) and second will be Mhd (tuner of choice prefers Mhd) why? To give you comparative data and help other people decide what they want.

You need to take your car to a local tuner and get a bench unlock. ECU isn’t fully unlocked so it allows the tune to run when unlocked.
Why are you shifting during your runs lol..? Put it in Sport+ and Sport Trans and let it work.

For half the price local tuners offer custom tune for particular car. What are then bm3 or mhd advantages? Considering I'm not going to experiment, just to stick to initial tune.
Mhd and bm3 give you a ton of options and map choices that you can change whenever you want. If you have a custom tune you have to go back to your tuner anytime you want to change something as simple as burble settings.

@@contentmaker7777 I don’t believe any of the tunes are free. Stage 1 tunes are usually designed for cars that still have stock downpipes. It’s not recommended to use any burble setting beyond stock if you still have a catted downpipe, it can destroy the catalytic converter.

@@contentmaker7777 stage 1 is for a completely stock car.
Stage 2 is a car with a catless pipe or highflow catted down pipe. Why would you want most aggressive burbles? Wouldnt that get annoying after a few minutes ?
BM3 OTS maps are still not mature, especially stage 2 or E30 maps, nothing but problems.
Would love to see this 340 & the b58 pushed to its limit, @1stockf30 was definitely the furthest with like 9.8 second 1/4 mile

the cloud argument won't be valid for 90%of the people, as, let's face it, you will play with it once and check it how it goes, and they you just choose one map you like best and that s it.
Is not like.. going racing and u need to switch maps over and over again, this is a daily, you upgrade it and then you just enjoy it.. daily.c
