Why didn't you use launch control
I love xhp flashtool. Using the launch control editing and maxing it out took a tenth off of my 60 foot. Also the drag mode shifting is ridiculous. The car just shifts instantly with no *puff* between shifts. It would be cool to showcase the drag mode on the channel.

Great content! I'm running the stage 2 93 octane map but have some throttle closure issues. Did you feel/log any throttle closure on the stage 2.0 map?
Yup that was a big issue that was fixed in 2.0. Give a shot, drives very well

I wanted to go stage 1 bootmode and keep it safe and not void warranty. Would flash it back to stock when I need to service the car. Would love if you did a video on going from stock to stage 1
Make sure to tell BMW not to lock your dme when servicing tho, ask me how i know lol

Or intercooler I want next now I constantly throw a code on mine for the catless down pipe is there a way I can turn this off being you built 2 or 3 of these cars I really like to pick your brain about mine

I have a 2014 f30 335i m sport xdrive and my factory tire sizes are 255/35/19 rear 225/40/19 front I recently got another set of wheels for the car and I was going to run 255/35 squared do you think this will affect my transmission or transfer case in the long run?
any square set up won’t mess with the transfer case at all, so you’re good. this is as far as I know/have experienced.
Are the oil temps @12:00 the way that it should be stock? On my 340i X-drive I hoover over the 2 on the 250 marking.

He probably just turned the car on. Also with the bootmod3 flash, it targets lower temps. Hovering near 250 is normal for stock.

@@matthewtodaro5729 I’d take a look at the air filter first and see how clean it is. I would take it in for sure if it crosses 250. Also I don’t for a second buy the BMW oil change timelines. I change mine more often out of pocket.
Something to keep in mind, xHP can be weird, my last flash the “increased line pressure” slider was selected green and all, yet when I clicked into it the actual option was “off”. I knew something was wrong when I kept slipping the clutch. Reflashed with it on and the issue is gone
I've had weird issues with the sliders too. How much power are you making that you're slipping?
@@mkvB58KING that's what concerned me actually too, I've not had it on the dyno but I'm on the E-20 Stage 2 Plus map, FBO of course, upgraded sparkplugs too, new fuel injectors, should be at about 420 whp and 440 lbs of torque at the wheels or so. Wondered if it was the tires slipping still kinda hard to tell but I upgraded those to Pilot Sport 4Ss and the grip levels are really high

idk if u will see this comment, but my stage 1 map startup is a LOT louder compared to stage 2. Have the GTS roar on and same setup for both maps. Catless with AWE catback btw. Like my roms only got like 1 on gts roar for stage 2???? im so confused

I ran a dragy 12.3 on just a BM3 stage 1 93 with stock exhaust , DP and intake. I guess I can assume with stage 2 full exhaust , including DP and maybe intake I can pull high 11’s as well?
I don’t see why can’t you pull high 11s if you have the same mods as him..
It’s weird... I’ve seen stage 2 340’s hitting only mid to high 12’s. There seems to be quite a bit of variance.

I’m currently on a normal Stage 2 tune. I want to go faster. but my car is my DD. I can’t decide between Bootmod3 E30 tune, meth, or Pure 800 on 93. For reliability and power. P.S. E85 is getting harder to find around me. Only 1 gas station 30 min away…

I use the MPPSK burble setting, it's perfect. I did notice the stage 2.0 tunes need a ton of octane. Try running some logs and see how your timing is with it.

Loaded question, the answer is it could if you’re running too lean, too rich, too hot and a number of other potential issues. The key is to have monitoring software and either know what to look for or post the data for many willing and able folk online to take a look at. Utilize the community.
