    Brilliant video, thanks.
    I have two questions :
    Can't you just top coat with same cleary poly ? Why changing a type of rasin for urethan to top coat if it's still glossy finish?
    Also, do you use metalic pigments to dye your poly here or just a simple epoxy dye would also do?
    Thanks in advance and greetings from Poland

      Leggari Products did epoxy for 3 years over in Japan on the Navy Boats. Cross Field Products. And American Safety, they say this stuff is water resistant. If any water sat on a finished floor. It turns milky. And then in a few weeks or months when the scuffs come in. Do you go back to these houses and apply another clear seal?

    What effect will sun exposure have on this floor? I’m talking about a room with glass all the way around it. Exposing it to sunlight. Also how long does it last, with and without sun exposure? How does it react to long standing water spills? What will the difference be to the floor without the top coat.
    And thank you so much for teaching this technique and allowing people this opportunity to be creative. I can’t stop thinking of ways to use your product. I got a sample kit and I’m going to make it useful by using it to top my wood TV trays. Oh... and I have to ask ...is this, at all, flammable after it cures?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  5 років тому

      If it is indoors the sun will not effect it. Our products are actually industrial coating made for military aircraft hangers, etc. So theoretically in a residential, or even commercial setting it will last forever. This is NOT a cheap epoxy paint that you will commonly find at box stores like Home Depot or sherwin Williams. It is a thick 100% solids epoxy coating.

    • @michaelwesthead-sportsinst4279
      @michaelwesthead-sportsinst4279 5 років тому

      How will this work in a garage setting? I know you say "indoors" but this is pseudo indoors. My main concern is with the garage doors open. I'm assuming it will be okay as the garage doors will be open less than a window.
      I also agree with Tina's assessment. You have me thinking of a thousand different uses and ideas. Much obliged.

Do you just use the same gap filler or would the texture of the wader board still show through? And if a counter has some chips on edges do we strip the edge off and leave top on or do you need to repair the sides and/or strip off all counter top? It’s cheap counter top

    Красиво, но на мой взгляд тёмного цвета не хватает! Очень много белых участков в которые можно было добавить тёмного цвета. Хотя это моё личное мнение. В самом начале видео на полу было видно трещины на стяжке--- а не проявятся ли они через год--два?

    How does this product hold up to the elements?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  5 років тому

    • @michaelmeth2183
      @michaelmeth2183 4 роки тому

      Military and industrial application does not automatically mean it is suitable for home application!! These coatings do not even withstand a dog, shifting chairs that are even attached with felt and everything else. It all scratches! It really depends on the light situation when these scratches are visible. It might not be the strong daylight but the lower light in the evenning that makes it look unpleasant. This aspect is not considered in applications outside the home sector!

      Typically the cost per sq ft for flooring including shipping and a top coat comes out to $2.25-2.75 per ft. For domestic US customers. A countertop kit will cover up to 50 sq ft of countertops and costs $432 including shipping for people within the U.S. Thank
