    I called these guys with questions. I never imagined someone could be so passionate about epoxy. This dude gave me so much information about how to perfectly do my floor and get the effects I want. We were on the phone for 25 mins and he put everything I need to buy in an email to me. Leggari has the best customer service of any organization I’ve ever spoken to.

    This may be a dumb question but here goes it anyway: Can Leggari self leveling epoxy fill in a hairline crack in a concrete slab? If not, can Leggari epoxy be used to fill the crack if it's chased without filling it with an adhesive?

    Outstanding! I was impressed how the Floor looked dried. The Video shows the Silver than Pearl White being rolled out... Than the next frame shown this Beautiful finish that looks like a "Smoked" Finish! Beautiful. I like the Blend affect with the Roller But Im going to try a Light Rag Roller in a few spots to break it up as a Faux accent.
    I am assuming the "Smoked" finish look was from the Epoxy Finish fully or almost dried. Im going to try this soon with a Image on the floor first as a Lay In accent. Once again Outstanding work!

    I have a couple questions:
    What brand paint rollers do you recommend and how many will I need for the primer, first coat, highlight, and top coat?
    When did you remove the tape? Do you have to retape for the top coat?

    • @ryanwest1619
      @ryanwest1619 3 роки тому +1

      The tape looks different. I’d imagine you have to wait for the epoxy to dry first before doing top coat, which means you’d have to remove tape and retape once it dries.

    Great work. Love this stuff. One question though... Why the paste? To fill the joints? Reason I'm asking is cause those are there for a reason. Highly recommend that caulking go in. Way faster less expensive AND caulking expands with the joints movements providing it's a top of line sealant. Just an observation 💁. I'm a professional Caulker and getting into the epoxy.

    • @ondrejcejka5705
      @ondrejcejka5705 2 роки тому

      Yes PU sealands or MS sealands are the best. I am sure the paste thay are using is also PU type or MS type. here in Europe you could get those types in large buckets OK. Im sure in US also. The joints in the picture are probably movement joints hecause the with size. . In interior where you have a stablle temperature enviroment so the moovement will be litherly none, The joint here will behave like a construction joints OK. Outside you will not do floors like this i think :).

      Hi Ashley, we recommend if you go with that technique that you mix the colors separately then pour them into one bucket before pouring them onto the floor. It would definitely work and still give you decent color separation. If you mix both colors together at once it will just make it a solid lighter grey. Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

    I am curious about the tape you used to mark off the floor. We are planning to do our basement, but not all of it. We planned to tape off sections and wonder if the epoxy will flow over the tape. Also wonder when and how you remove the tape from the floor after you apply the epoxy.

    • @LeggariProducts

      Our products are actually industrial coating made for military aircraft hangers, etc. So theoretically in a residential, or even commercial setting it will last forever. This is NOT a cheap epoxy paint that you will commonly find at box stores like Home Depot or sherwin Williams. It is a thick 100% solids epoxy coating.
