Navy: we're gonna do planks instead of curl ups Everyone: well good, it's about time Navy: and we're gonna do cadence pushups as well Everyone: well, of course, can't be Navy if it's not unnecessarily hard
This is gonna be helpful for practicing. I'm used to busting out 40 fast ones then doing sets of 10s and 5s to 70, but rn I can just barely get to 35-40 since I can't rest at all. Prayer I can still max come PR5 day 🙏🙏
headed to great lakes june 30th and im struggling with push ups. glad i found this video because it keeps me going and helps me fall into a good pace. good work man
This is definitely the toughest type of pushup. I busted out 54 my first try (and I'm really good a pushups) ... I'm looking to accomplish 60 before marine bootcamp
I am currently in the exactly same situation! I am a Sophomore in NJROTC and do about 80 push ups without cadence but with cadence I achieved 46 and hardly.
do you have to do this in the inital test before basic training? 35 is minimum for cadence which is apparently what is being done now but charts I see still have a minimum of 42. i'm confused on whether I have to do regular fast pushups or cadence pushups when i get to training.

you got this man!
This is after doing a plank for 2/3 minutes using your arms.
Half the Navy is gonna fail.
I think the plank comes after the push-ups
@NASCAR109 Wrong. Plank comes after with 2m break in between.
Plank comes after push ups
harder than I thought it would be for sure.

Imma Sophomore in highschool. I'm used to doing 60-70 no cadence. Up to 34 on this one. Great video.

I have 2 months to ship and I'm in the mid 20's between 23 and 27. Goal is 50. This is gonna take forever
Can only do 32 cadence push ups rn and my goal is 47 push ups before I get shipped March 8th 2021.
You got this 💪
It’s harder to keep track with the up down then actually doing the push ups
Doing this after 100 max and could only reach 10.. I was shaking while doing it, the good thing is that I get a breather

Do you have to do all of it to pass? I’m only up to 19
The grading scale is not out yet. It might be based on age and gender like the last one.
Got to 36 triceps are on fire.
For males 20-24 you need 47 to graduate
Riley Etchison thats kinda dumb logic when the max is 60
I do these for my workout and I can do 32
So many people are going to fail
Sir, just want to ask why is cadence push ups harder than the usual push ups?
I think its because you cant go on your own pace and rest at will.
