Its ok to judge the sin as long as your motivation is to actually help the other person spiritually. Pretty simple really. If we are the hands & feet, then let us be careful to do the work He set before us.
The person in the Bible story is also a Christian. This is important. Holding people who don't have a relationship with Jesus up to standards that require a softened heart when they still have world hard hearts doesn't make sense and doesn't do them any good. Judging other Christians in love is an example of iron sharpening iron. Holding equal participants up to the same standards. You could encourage a non-Christian or explain the benefits of the sinless perspective. But bringing judgment won't encourage

Thanks again for this teaching. Someone as a part of a smear campaign said I was not born again. I have learned two things, one leave everything in God's hands and trust Him, not to fight fire with fire but lean on God to carry me through
Hi Allen, I just came across your channel a couple of days ago and am very pleased with your teaching. It follows the true intent of the scriptures as I have learned them. You are tackling the tough issues in a no nonsense straight forward way using God's Word. I will continue to watch, listen, learn and share your channel with my family and friends. God speed to you and those who may be working with you on your journey for Him. In Christ, Fred
You said exactly what I have been telling people. God all ready judged sin, therefore, we have the tools to rightfully judge sins. We do not have the right to judge someone's salvation or pass other kinds of judgment as if we know their heart or their intent because we do not. Thank you for putting this so plainly. People also like to say, "you without sin, cast the first stone" when you bring up sin. This goes back to the woman who was found in adultery and brought to Christ to be stoned and Christ told them, "You without sin, cast the first stone". Christ never ever scolded them for calling this woman out on her sin, what he called them out for was wanting to put her to death for the sin, when they too had sins in their life that was probably worthy of death. So when Christ looked up and asked where her accusers were, has no man condemned you? It was a nicer way of saying, "Where are your executioners, has no man been found worthy to start the sentencing of your death?" According to Strong's, the word condemn in this passage was Katakrino and it means to punish. The religious leaders judged her actions righteously but they had no place to condemn her because of their own sins.
Oh okay so ur gonna justify the homophobia I face from christianity then? I don’t think your God likes you doing his job...making bigger then you decisions....
@@bluBlaq33 what are the bigger decisions when we are to judge even angels of Heaven who have fallen? Making things of the world pertain as well. We are to judge sin not the person my friend(:
Thanks for this, Allen! Our own judgment of others is something I've been trying to figure out lately and this helped clear it up. I'll be praying that God will continue to reveal how He wants us to judge and I'll hopefully understand it fully soon. Thank you so much for your clear and practical explanations!
@@Jean-rg1mk I'm still not 100% clear on this issue but God has cleared some things up as time has gone on, so here's my input: I know for sure that Jesus doesn't want us judging hypocritically, as He said to take the log out of our own eyes so that we can see clearly to take the speck out of someone else's. The key is to look at yourself and your own issues first so that you can help your brothers and sisters with their issues, too; not to look down on humanity for its problems and sins. God has recently helped me to be able to see things from other people's perspectives, too. For example, even if someone's view on why they did something is sinful, He can help me to understand how someone else sees things, and then I will have better discernment to help them with their sin. It's a tricky issue and some people use "Do not judge or you too will be judged" to just say that they have no input on others' lives and cannot point out their sin. But as Christians, we are in a place to help eachother out with our sins and issues if it's done in love. Paul says in Ephesians 5:11, "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them." So God has called us to call out evil in this world and help our neighbors with their sin problems in love so that we will edify eachother and grow closer to Him. Keep studying this issue and ask God for the discernment and wisdom to understand it. I'll be praying that He clears things up for you!
Christ doesn't say to remove the speck of dust from your own eye to help your neighbor remove the speck from his eye. He tells them to remove the log, a much bigger image that the person ignores, focusing instead on the minor sin of another. So, if you lack love, humility, compassion, and mercy, you have a huge log in your eye, and probably spend most of your time condemning others for their sins, however petty, while ignoring you grave sin. The reason Christians are so often known for being judgmental is because, while acknowledging they sin and are forgiven by Christ, turn around and condemn others, even nonChristians, and label these people as evil. They don't know these people because they are sinners and thus, don't associate with them, kind of like Pharisees that Jesus refers to. But I'll give an example that really illustrates the point. I used to work with John at the Guthrie Theater. One day, he was smoking as he waited for the bus to come. A car stopped at the red light, and a woman rolled down the window and said, "You know, smoking is going to kill you..." John ran up to the car and said, "What?? Smoking can kill me?" He through it down. "No one has ever told me that!!Thank you! Thank you for saving my life!!!" Was the woman saying this to educate him? No, because it is common knowledge that smoking is a carcinogen. Was she doing it to help him? As something you say as you drive by? I doubt it. She said it to judge him. For what reason ? To feel morally superior, and John showed her just how ridiculous her comment was.. Rarely, when discussing sin are people speaking of their own, but the sin of others.
@I H you said someone had no right to do something, judging their right and what they are doing. Stating an absolute statement like that requires you to judge. Just like everything else you do in life. We are called to make right judgements, we aren’t told not to judge. What disfunction are you talking about? That’s another judgement, incidentally.
You must judge and make judgements all the time, or else you won't be able to make righteous decisions. What you cannot do is judge the value of another person or whether God will give another person grace. We don't really know what is in someone else's mind or heart, and we need to hope that God will save each person even it it looks bad from our point of view. Be humble and refrain from judgement. Leave it to God.
@Tré D That's a fair comment, take the plank (or rock?) out of your own eye, but as Jesus said "before you take the speck out of your brother's eye". So sometimes you will need to judge, or else you won't be able to see the speck in your brother's eye. Jesus also says that with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. You must judge others sometimes, but be careful.
So basically do not judge hypocritically, do not condemn them yourself, and pass judgments and discernments without being judgmental because you're no better than they are.
So I had a conversation with another fellow Christian and they told me judging wisely meant I was playing God and said who am I to say what's right and what's wrong? God? I told them I never even put myself in that position of authority but was referring to scripture that talks about judging righteously. Then we talked about righteous anger and they said that anger is Judgement and Judgement is a sin. I told them that wasn't true and anger is an emotion to someone or something. I explained that God's Judgement is not our call, but we are to judge a situation or person for many reason. This goes double for wanting to help them. I made it clear that if they didn't know God I would wait til God gave me the words and share my experience with God with them. I would tell them what scripture says. I do this with love and truth. They said when Jesus flipped tables he wasn't angry and I made it clear that yea while Jesus never sinned he did get angry. I told them anger is not a sin by itself, it's what you do with that emotion and how you let it affect you. They keep trying to say I'm playing God and twisting my words. I don't really know what to do when thus happens. I just told the truth and left it at that.
I think there's few people that know the difference between judging and rebuking. Bible says, "Rebuke a scoffer, he will hate you; Rebuke a wise man, he will love you!" Every time you try to expose evil the first thing people do, even Satanists, is not to use their own satanic Bible, but they always pick up the Book they know to be True, or they start filling their ammo belts with scriptures they know. Joke: I rebuked a mosquito once, ...didn't keep the next one from biting me just as hard :) God Bless
Righteous judging is our duty 5. 1 Corinthians 6:2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?
We need to know and understand God's moral law to be able to judge ourselves. Once we know what God likes and and hates then we can pray for help to sin-less and less everyday. and then help others do the same. Sin always has a price to pay. The life of Jesus on our behalf and the price of it hurting ourselves or the people around us. Which is why we need to Judge/love as we should want to out of love to help people avoid consequences for non-biblical behaviour. However this is a daily, moment by moment process it will never end to a get on new body after death. Then we will not sin anymore ever.
I was relating a situation to a Christian about another Christian failing to admonish me when I was clearly out of character. This Christian is much older than I, has been saved longer than me and is considered a Mother of her church. I spoke to her and she turned her head. The first Christian said, "She ain't saved". I didn't tell her it was her friend because I was sure she would have changed her opinion. But what Ive learned from this lesson is that the first Christian should not have said that the person was'nt saved. And to be honest, I was'nt feeling her Salvation either. I've repented for that thought. Thank you
What is so true and common of Christians in this society is how they use the ‘do not judge’ verse to satisfy their sinful nature and to excuse their behavior like Noo!
I hate this comeback too cuz it always makes me freeze up cuz ofc on God judges salvation. But it isn’t loving to tell someone that living in sin is ok and not tell them the consequences of their actions. It’s hard to point out someone’s sin now and warn them to correct themselves without being guilt tripped into thinking you’ve unrighteously judged them
Amazingbiscuit7 I definitely agree people will always feel judged no matter how gently you’d you say it because sometime people are comfortable living a lie and the truth is never easy
Christian'sdo not sit in God's Judgement seat pronouncing soul judgement on other's...in other word's No human is permitted or able to choose where a person's soul shall spend eternity! Only God judges in this capacity, God is the Only Righteous Judge Holding all Authority.....No one know's the final judgement God has for each person, Righteous judgement never come to us,it solely belong's to God!...That is we do not define Sin! God is the only one who know's the secrets we hold in our heart's. To confront another person's sin without recognizing personal sin is self-righteous proud and hypocritical!! God bless to My family in Christ love you all.Gloria
The Bible makes it very clear that righteous judgement is ok. I’d rather blatantly tell people the truth so that they can turn away from their sin and enter Heaven instead of sugarcoating the Bible and telling them their sin is ok which can lead them to Hell.
Rom 2:1 "Therefore, every one of you who judges is without excuse. For when you judge another, you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the same things." It's confusing to me because in Matt 7 and Luke 6:37 it is speaking generally like if we don't judge people, we won't get judged either, but judged by who? Surely it's not saying that if I live my life never judging anyone's actions, then God won't judge me either? Or does it mean that somehow I'll be spared of other peoples' judgements on me? Then Matt 7:3-4 makes it more clear that this has something to do with being hypocritical. I think Allen had it backward though. In the video it said "how can I judge murder if I have hate in my heart" or something like that. That's like saying I can't judge one of these psychopath school shooters because I hated someone once. My hate isn't the "log" and the school shooter isn't a "splinter". If anything it's the other way around. A murderer shouldn't be judging me that I hated someone! The analogy of logs and splinters is clearly showing there can be degrees of sin. We shouldn't judge someone if we are doing the same thing, or something even worse. A drunkard judging someone for having one light beer. An adulterer judging someone who watched a movie that had a nude scene. Verse two says when we judge others, we will have that same standard applied to us! I think this is the crux of the issue. Unless we are willing to have our own standards raised against us too, don't both judging others. I recently "judged" a fellow Christian and called them out because he got in to some new age/occult stuff, perhaps ignorantly about it. So I have to do this after I ask myself: 1) Do I do any of this too? Or something worse? Or something even similar? If so, I need to clean up my own life and learn more about it and have experience dealing with it before I try to get others out of it. 2) Do I want the same standard of judgement I'm using to be used against me? Am I judging based on my preferences and sensibilities? Or based on the authority and clear teaching of scripture? Am I applying scripture that is relevant to us today given the new covenant? Whatever my standards are, I have to be willing to let others use the same on me. 3) Am I doing this to an unbeliever? Am I giving "what is holy to dogs" or tossing my "pearls before pigs"? Why judge unbelievers, they don't need judgement, but repentance and faith. The gospel. We can have our preferences with unbelievers at the human level, like asking them not to curse around our kids or bring booze in our house, but leave biblical judgement for bible believers. Maybe I got the video wrong, or maybe there is a difference between recognizing something based on signs, and judging something absolutely. Or to put another way, the signs of false faith, versus judging they aren't saved. I would rather judge a few potential false converts and maybe win them out of deception, than wring my hands in fear that I shouldn't judge someone's salvation. We can't judge salvation but we can judge the flesh, the fruits, and get a clue about it. There is a difference between: 1) "I don't think you're saved! Look at this and this verse and all this sin you do!" 2) "I'm worried for your salvation, I'm seeing this and this and scripture says this!" Subtle difference but #2 isn't judging without doubt, it's only saying, as a human looking at the flesh, at our works, something is wrong.
Sir I enjoy your classes very much,I belong to a pentecost church, I came to visit a church that is alse a pentecost church and I was told to several thing that I not agreen with, like have beard, long hair and that I can loose my salvation, I know you teatch on this, and I agreed with you. Sinse I go deep o you answer some of them I will like to know what you think of people that been divorce, if GOD will give them another chance of re- Maried again thanks for your ministry's.
Just one question and a little extra. How many specks are in a log? I believe judging sin is correct, but judging people without love is not biblical. What is your motivation in judging a person?
@Luis Porras Galatian 6:1-6. I believe these verses show us a better way to help a Christian caught in sin than simply judging. Agape love must be given to all as we all are made in God’s image; however, one can never condone sin. Sin carries punishment for sure, but for fellow Christians there is a loving way to restore them without the sin we may be caught in when judging another: pride. I believe Galatians explains this quite well.
This topic is complicated. You need to judge to protect yourself from bad company and bad statistics but we also have to not judge hypocritically or by how a person looks. We should let God be the judge of that as we are called to love them even if they refuse follow the truth and live their lives in wickedness. Maybe in the future they will listen to correction and wise council, but don't be judgmental towards them when you dont know the situation of what theyre going through. Dont put that hate in your heart, but deal with who they chose to be. Maybe they will see your light and think about change. It could just be the sweetest person who just hasnt seen it yet. But if you dont call that out it will grow into a big chaos because a lot of people got serious issues like criminal activities. So if you dont judge at all you will be manipulated. The best way to say it is be careful how you judge cause it will hurt others and you can be wrong and it will be measured against you if you havent overcome your own problems. Youre just called to love them and hopefully they will change but doesnt mean follow them or trust them it just means don't be so hateful towards them cause of their sin addictions. They just havent seen it yet and need help off their problems. We don't fight against flesh and blood.
Just because someone acts a certain way, and just because the joy that person finds in something you don’t like. That doesn’t give any Christian the right to judge. The only judgement I’ll ever listen to is God’s judgment. Everyone else can leave me alone. God won’t ever lie to me, and he’ll love me no matter of my appearance. But people that claim to be “Christians”. They’re the main one’s to judge people, and call them awful names to down the person. Just like my mother. And father. The sad part about this is my father is the deacon at my church, and my mother is the usher. I don’t know much about my mom because I grew up a few years without her in my life (She cheated on my dad). And I honestly don’t like her. She is controlling as fuck, and she is too demanding, and if things don’t go her way. She’ll make you go crazy. I remember I given an ultimatum to pick between cutting off my Afro that I had been growing for 7 months, Or move out. At the time I didn’t have my own car, A good paying job. Etc. But now I do. I bought my own car, and I have a job. So they can’t tell me shit. Also I’m an adult in my early 20’s. I helped my parents pay majority of the bills but ever since this verbal, and physical abuse started. I stopped giving a damn about them. Pretty soon I’ll be moving out. And to all those who are being judged by others. If your judgment isn’t from God. Why stress about what others think, Or say?. The only opinion that matters is God’s opinion, and judgment. You’re not living to please man, You’re living to please God, and yourself. If people give you advice, but to you , you feel like the advice doesn’t benefit you in any way. Don’t take it. People in this world are only looking out for themselves. It’s bout time you start looking out for yourself.
My bout with judging comes when I frequently encounter a person, presumably homeless, whom asks for money to eat but I later see them with a drink or drugging. The very next instance, I may have but determine I will not give to them or anyone else because I assume what they're about. I really struggle with this because at times I can feel my heart, what I perceive, as growing cold...
When you judge a Christian brother, you need to first make sure your judgement is true. We are bad at automatically thinking the worse in someone. If we know that we know someone is doing wrong, then it's okay to tell the truth and say it's wrong. My problem is I see so much wrongly judging someone. We don't know the color of the shirt someone is wearing right now, but we know what they're doing right now and can read their minds. I have had so much being wrongly judged that I'm not just tired of it, but I'm worn out from it. It's very discouraging.
What happened to “you will know them by their fruit”. It’s pretty obvious when someone is just playing a part. Often these people don’t stick around long.
Save Sinners Records If you absolutely know someone’s not a Christian, and they state the same, then yes. As long as your ultimate goal is to helps them spiritually and guide them to the path of salvation.
You never know, later on in life they could become a Christian without you knowing. People can be unbelievers on their death beds and then accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior before they took their last breath.
Very interesting I think it depends on what you mean by judge I would say if we’re talking to non Christians we should listen to them first so we know where they’re at and coming from and then only give them advice if they seem like it will actually help them in the end and not just make them worse because some people are so hurt by Christianity that just hearing about Jesus will make them wanna follow him even less so I believe we should always listen before talking too much, the Bible even says to walk in humility and to be quick to listen and slow to speak. Love you and God bless you ❤️
That’s what I’m saying. We’re also not allowed to judge or assume people’s motives at heart because only God knows that. I think the best way is to pray for those that you think are living in sin. God is sovereign and will always be able to do more than we can.
@@jessicasifuentes9605 I completely agree with you. We are to share God's Word, pray for them, but not sit in judgement like we are better for we ALL are sinners.
I beg to differ on the notion of salvation. The fruit of the spirit is shown, and defined to us that we may know who walks in the light among us, and who doesn’t just as we judge our own salvation. Paul talks about the ramifications of continuing in sin, the differences between one who professes with their mouths but don’t actually follow, and strongest still is Jesus’s own words about the “believers” he “never knew” before telling them to “depart from me, you workers of iniquity.” The parable of wheat in no way shape or form condemns judging whether or not one is saved. It is reference to the entire world which the wheat are GOD’s people, and the Tares are unbelievers. Unbelievers as we know, are not saved. The thing that sets apart the believer from the unbeliever is the fruit of the spirit. Lifestyle choices, core values, etc. If a believer says they believe but they live like an unbeliever, no self control, no attitude of repentance, and other easily testable attributes, they’re not saved. We must also understand how strongly GOD desires us, and how holy he is. That the lukewarm would be spat from his mouth. Wishing the child was either hot or COLD toward him rather than lukewarm. That even grace has it’s limits. As Paul said, should we continue in sin that grace may abound? GOD forbid! How can we who died to sin still live in it therein? Perfectly circling back to JESUS’ words: Not all who say LORD LORD!” But he who does the will of the father. Pretty clear to me then, that salvation is something we can judge, and should judge. For what love is there to let a potential brother or sister so delude themselves that they are saved only to be shunned in the day of judgment!
You have some thoughts here! It is definitely a misunderstood verse! My congregation has been asking about this so I also made a video about it. I liked how you use the analogy about the weeds versus the wheat, I went a slightly different direction in my video on the subject.
I don't know if anyone cares, but I've been thinking about what you said in this video. In particular, about thinking a person who says they're saved, is deceived. I agree now for the most part. But this puts us in the frame of mind that we should accept that anyone who says they believe in Jesus is saved. What about the scripture that points up that we should not be unequally yoked? If I determine that a potential mate says they are Christian for years, but is as hateful as a devil and still had a nominal interest in Jesus, then am I still wrong to discern in my heart this person is not saved? But the Lord Himself said, "You will know them by their fruits." I'm far from walking a obedient, overflowing-with-love life. The things I've done. As for me, I do want to do better, but I wouldn't blame anyone for wondering if I was ever saved in the first place. I know a woman who claims to be saved for years. She doesn't seem to care about the bible. It's only about what churches she's been to. She is hateful, mean-spirited in all of our encounters. This is just observation. Doesn't 1 John tell us that a Christian will not continue in sin? I am more in agreement about your points about judging. I need this teaching. I just keep seeing this slippery little "loophole"... I'm not sure if it is. Just my thoughts. Grateful for your ministry. Blessings.
Although I'm not your beloved follower you were pretty much on point, but there's quite a bit more about judging, what about 1Corinthians 6 verse 2, along with other scripture.
So what you're basically saying is make sure you're straight before judging someone else? Or take into consideration of your sin before you judge someone else.
I have to ask; what about if you ask somebody about how they were saved and they give you an uncertain answer, or seem or are very uncertain about it, seeming even not to know the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Wouldn't that fall into Evangelism, to talk with that person and make sure they know the Gospel so they can make a decision for Christ if they haven't already?
@@stephenbeary7887 haha I know ...I believe judgemental attitude comes from deep rooted pride / self - righteousness/ religious spirit...it's all deep rooted and that's why Jesus saves us ...from ourselves
Ok still not sure I get it. I'm concerned because my husband cheated on me and now wants a divorce so far we have only moved out of our home. He continued to see the same woman. On one occasion I tired to warn him that he was committing adultery and needed to repent and end that relationship or he could go to hell. He told me who am I to judge him and it left me wondering if I was wrong in telling him this.
Allen I don’t think teaching on the parable of wheats is correct. Weeds and wheats do not look the same. When you pull the weeds out it will damage the growing crop. ( growing crop being a Christian)
God said don’t ask who is in hell thats to bring him up and don’t ask who is in heaven that’s to bring Christ down. Meaning we should know who is in heaven or hell due to them saying that they reject Christ. Jesus says I write these scriptures that you may know you have salvation in the Son Of God.
I've been struggling with judging. And I often get down to the nity gritty. Leaving me confused. Should I judge a non-believers sin. I can have an opinion on it knowing it's wrong but I get stuck on that and think of that and can't stop thinking about that. So is it wrong to not want to judge a non-believer entirely, but I'll still stand for what I believe is right. For believers should I judge them for every single thing I do. We all struggle with lying so is it wrong for me to say it's not good to lie and that you and I should not lie.(I try to explain so it sounds like I'm not innocent). Like I could say let's try to not lie but speak truth. I mess up a lot but let's try to do better. Than I get worried that this type of judging is bad and that I am condemning myself.
What about someone who is Gay and goes to church and wants to be Saved but full on believes That her lifestyle is not a sin. She also believes that there was a women before eve? I read up on some of that and I believe she is talking about Lelith, Which I don't believe Christians Believe. Ty and ty for your Videos!
Remember that you used the word “lifestyle.” I don’t have a lifestyle, and I’m gay myself. What I have, is a relationship with a male partner that I feel works best for me. In the past, my relationships with women was absolutely horrid; not only have I had a relationship with a girl that lasted for only a month (even though I believed that God was willing to make this relationship work), but I’ve also had all my female friends taken by their partners (not helped by the fact that I suck at flirting & being suave). Yes, I may’ve been gay as a form of me taking the easy way out, but what was I supposed to do? Pray to God & STILL not find anyone of the opposite sex, even if I was willing to agree to an opposite-sex opportunity? And yes, I understand that God may disagree with same-sex relationships, but that’s for Him to decide, not for humans.
As you said in this video that it’s not ok to judge another Christian brother or sister in their salvation. But what if they are a Jehovah witness and or a Mormon and consider themselves a “true Christian”? Then is it ok to judge them or should you just let them be and let them think that’s what they believe and are ? Because I have shared your video with the Mormons about not being Christians and they got really offended by it and stopped being my friend and reaching out to me and told me that your video was just your own personal opinion and not true. Same with the Jehovah witnesses with another video similar to this one I sent them and I got the exact same response. So my question is... how am I supposed to evangelize and share Jesus with them if they are too strong in their beliefs and reject the this video and others about being a born again Christian if they aren’t even allowed to see it and view it and know that they are not truly Christians? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated and extremely helpful. Thanks :-) oh by the way... who are the clouds of witnesses in the Bible that Jesus talks about? Can they really see if we are winning badly in our lives and then go and tell God on us if we are misbehaving? And or our other loved ones who live with God in Heaven? I have always wondered excatly what that meant. So if you can please do a video on that one too. Thanks :-)
Its ok to judge the sin as long as your motivation is to actually help the other person spiritually. Pretty simple really. If we are the hands & feet, then let us be careful to do the work He set before us.

I've been subscribed to your podcast for a few weeks and these lessons have been very helpful for my Christian walk
I think before we judge others you should examine yourself and think about yourself and try to help the person be better in Christ
Thank u
He never mentioned John 7:24. To judge righteously
John 7:24, KJV: "Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous
Well at least you brought it up so thanks for that!👍👍👍👍
Oh okay so ur gonna justify the homophobia I face from christianity then? I don’t think your God likes you doing his job...making bigger then you decisions....
@@bluBlaq33 what are the bigger decisions when we are to judge even angels of Heaven who have fallen? Making things of the world pertain as well. We are to judge sin not the person my friend(:
@@BeginnersN2WinnersThruJesus we are to judge people…how the heck do you “judge sin”? Sin is sin💁🏽♀️
I must confess that I have problem with judging. I start judging in my mind and suddenly I realize what I’m doing and stop it.
Thank you for making things clear about things. I have forgotten about somethings and sometimes things are confusing . Thank you and God bless you!
Thanks for this, Allen! Our own judgment of others is something I've been trying to figure out lately and this helped clear it up. I'll be praying that God will continue to reveal how He wants us to judge and I'll hopefully understand it fully soon. Thank you so much for your clear and practical explanations!
Could you help me if you're comfortable with it
@@Jean-rg1mk I'm still not 100% clear on this issue but God has cleared some things up as time has gone on, so here's my input: I know for sure that Jesus doesn't want us judging hypocritically, as He said to take the log out of our own eyes so that we can see clearly to take the speck out of someone else's.
I was always told that as a Christian to judge by fruit and call out the sin. I heard that was a righteous judgment.
Let's say a police officer kills an unarmed person.
The tragic irony of hearing those words in 2020.
Right?
Actually, the statistics show that this rarely happens. And, just because someone is unarmed doesn't mean they aren't posing a deadly threat.
A car stopped at the red light, and a woman rolled down the window and said, "You know, smoking is going to kill you..."
John ran up to the car and said, "What?? Smoking can kill me?" He through it down. "No one has ever told me that!!Thank you! Thank you for saving my life!!!"
Was the woman saying this to educate him? No, because it is common knowledge that smoking is a carcinogen. Was she doing it to help him? As something you say as you drive by? I doubt it.
She said it to judge him. For what reason ? To feel morally superior, and John showed her just how ridiculous her comment was..
Rarely, when discussing sin are people speaking of their own, but the sin of others.
Christ : Judge not according to the appearance , but Judge Righteous Judgment.
Agree
@I H What makes you think that? And why are you judging me for judging?
@I H you said someone had no right to do something, judging their right and what they are doing. Stating an absolute statement like that requires you to judge. Just like everything else you do in life.
We are called to make right judgements, we aren’t told not to judge.
What disfunction are you talking about? That’s another judgement, incidentally.
I H John 7:24 Brother, please read the word of God.
@@ChesterBaker Have you read Matthew 7:1-7?
You must judge and make judgements all the time, or else you won't be able to make righteous decisions. What you cannot do is judge the value of another person or whether God will give another person grace. We don't really know what is in someone else's mind or heart, and we need to hope that God will save each person even it it looks bad from our point of view. Be humble and refrain from judgement. Leave it to God.
Thank you
@Tré D That's a fair comment, take the plank (or rock?) out of your own eye, but as Jesus said "before you take the speck out of your brother's eye". So sometimes you will need to judge, or else you won't be able to see the speck in your brother's eye. Jesus also says that with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. You must judge others sometimes, but be careful.
Its emergency to watch this video. I am blessed with this word of God. Thank you Bro Allen, may God continue to bless you and use you.

This was so good!❤
So basically do not judge hypocritically, do not condemn them yourself, and pass judgments and discernments without being judgmental because you're no better than they are.
I've watched this like 8 times theres too much spiritual goodness in this thank you!
Thanks for putting it where I understand.. Love your channel. Can you do a video on MATTHEW 5:17-19.. GOD BLESS YOU

John 7:24 "judge with righteous judgement." Correction in hope to lead to repentance.
We are all required to line up to Gods standards which is the Word of God! All of us!

Righteous judging is our duty
5. 1 Corinthians 6:2 Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by you, are you incompetent to try trivial cases?
We should not judge others by saying you will be hell after death and say you don't love God, because the others will be very sad.
God bless you this series. Thankyou
Great insight!
Thanks LG! Wow, this was a VERY early video. Ha.
Thank you
Excellent and very important message!

Why does this not have at least 12 million views?

Bless you brother.
I had other Christian's judge on me on material things also I don't have or got. My question is what should I do
Rom 2:1 "Therefore, every one of you who judges is without excuse. For when you judge another, you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the same things."
It's confusing to me because in Matt 7 and Luke 6:37 it is speaking generally like if we don't judge people, we won't get judged either, but judged by who?
So I have to do this after I ask myself:
1) Do I do any of this too?
There is a difference between:
1) "I don't think you're saved! Look at this and this verse and all this sin you do!"
2) "I'm worried for your salvation, I'm seeing this and this and scripture says this!"
Subtle difference but #2 isn't judging without doubt, it's only saying, as a human looking at the flesh, at our works, something is wrong.
Sir I enjoy your classes very much,I belong to a pentecost church, I came to visit a church that is alse a pentecost church and I was told to several thing that I not agreen with, like have beard, long hair and that I can loose my salvation, I know you teatch on this, and I agreed with you.
Brilliant
Wait hold up, if a person finds joy in murder, Christians can't judge on that?
I needed this thank you.

Or just don't judge people at all...
I still don’t get it. The first part
Warren Woodson God says to not question the use for a person in need, but to give regardless.
A person in Washington I ran across had a sign that read " Why Lie I want money for Alcohol" so I gave him $5 for his honesty.
I love log in the eye God bless you brother
When you judge a Christian brother, you need to first make sure your judgement is true. We are bad at automatically thinking the worse in someone. If we know that we know someone is doing wrong, then it's okay to tell the truth and say it's wrong. My problem is I see so much wrongly judging someone. We don't know the color of the shirt someone is wearing right now, but we know what they're doing right now and can read their minds. I have had so much being wrongly judged that I'm not just tired of it, but I'm worn out from it. It's very discouraging.
What about the verse that’s says you will know them by the fruit that they bare? Wouldn’t this apply to being able to tell if someone is saved or not?
there was some good information in that. But would love to see a video go much deeper

What happened to “you will know them by their fruit”. It’s pretty obvious when someone is just playing a part. Often these people don’t stick around long.
You can judge someones salvation by them clearly rejecting the Gospel. Muslim Buddist
Love you and God bless you ❤️
unloving attitude is the log
Murder and anger are two completely DIFFERENT things
Wait, but if we can’t judge other’s salvation, then what should you do to a person who’s clearly living in sin and making a practice of sin 24/7?
That’s what I’m saying. We’re also not allowed to judge or assume people’s motives at heart because only God knows that. I think the best way is to pray for those that you think are living in sin. God is sovereign and will always be able to do more than we can.

I love your videos
Blessings.

Allen I don’t think teaching on the parable of wheats is correct. Weeds and wheats do not look the same. When you pull the weeds out it will damage the growing crop. ( growing crop being a Christian)
God said don’t ask who is in hell thats to bring him up and don’t ask who is in heaven that’s to bring Christ down. Meaning we should know who is in heaven or hell due to them saying that they reject Christ. Jesus says I write these scriptures that you may know you have salvation in the Son Of God.

Why did i get a mormon ad? Smh
Very true this scripture is one of the misused scripture, particularly to never want to hear the truth
You should judge righteous judgement.
To lie it's a sin so we shouldn't lie at all!
Amen!
Mathew 13:28-30 is talking about removal not judgement?????
Thanks :-)
