Hey BEAT family, I pray all is well. So many have suggested in countless videos on the end times that the concept of the rapture occurring before the tribulation is not biblical. Many are convinced that Christians will have to go through the tribulation. This video will explore various arguments regarding a pre-tribulation rapture. Let me know, as always, your thoughts below.

I think people belive in pre tribulation just because it's more convenient for them they don't want to take in consideration that they would have to stay for God's Wrath
It is FAR better to believe in the words of our Lord and Savior rather than to take man's words. Our pretrib brothers will be unpleasantly suprised. There isn't going to be a snatching away just before it gets really bad. Jesus said He would send His angels to gather His elect AFTER the tribulation. I will not believe anybody's else's words. Be strong and be courageous for the LORD will not allow us to go through what we cannot bear.
I have two thoughts on this. 1- I HOPE it's pre-trib! 2- It doesn't matter what I think, Christ will return when He returns, and we must endure whatever comes between now and then, be it a tribulation or otherwise.
People are getting confused with troubles and great troubles. Tribulation means trouble. Have you ever been mocked, scoffed at, slandered, hated without a cause, betrayed, rejected? Those are part of our tribulation walk in Christ, those are part of being persecuted. As true Christians we are often rejected by children of this world. If you are blending in with the world, something is wrong. The tribulation of mankind started in the Garden of Eden, with satan's deception, leading to the fall of mankind. The continued persecutions of the Children of God has been happening throughout history. Look how Cain( the unrighteous one), killed his brother, Abel( the righteous one). This persecution will get greater as times get more wicked. Look what happened to Christians during the peak of the Roman persecutions. They went through Great Tribulations also; being thrown to lions to be ripped alive and eaten, burnt at the stake, beheaded, thrown into fires, etc. The tribulation is not God’s wrath. It is satan's rule, and he hates God/Christ and all who follows God/Christ. As Christians we all have troubles/tribulations in this world. *There is no secret, private rapture before tribulations. For some reason, most people prefer another Gospel, and because they reject the truth, they fall into deception. I know people/ pastors personally who believe in pretribulation rapture, so everything that is happening now cannot be of the beast, because they have not been raptured; and you know what? They encourage all they know to take the jabs. They have been deceived by another gospel. Wasn't that what satan did in Eden? He preached another gospel to Eve. Here is what Christ said about His return: The Lord returns after the tribulations. *It is written in Matthew 24: 29 -31, KJV.* *This is Christ telling you.* *29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."* You can read the rest on your own. All verses point to the gathering of the saints and the return of Christ as the same day, not separate times. Repent all who have taken the jabs, all jabs. Please!
I used to be caught up in this debate. Many valid points. But I decided to focus on today only and try my best to fellowship with GOD and try to love my neighbor as I would love myself.
It’s really not a debate. It’s definitely mid trib. And those who really and truly follow scripture know, and so called “debate” to warn the othe Christians in not to make the mistake of being deceived. Our own personal salvation depends on it . Imagine those who know better and don’t tell or at least warn the others who have lost their way in scripture or hearing what others claim, isn’t that the great deception?? This is what Satan wants. We can’t let him have that. I thank God for UA-cam because we can get in here and tell the absolute truth to those whom we may not ever had to chance to reach before. So this is Gods love that people get the truth and be ready, because we are going to have to endure some things, much more than the everyday persecutions that we encounter everyday on a Norman basis. Gods wrath does not start at chapter 6, but rather in 16.. clearly starts mentioning the 7 bowls of Gods wrath. Chapter 6 is talking about Gods judgements. Matthew 24 Jesus is talking to the disciples.. and us.. all who follow him. We will face some things. And if the masses of the church are not preparing thinking we will not see some things, that increases the chance of many to not endure. Ask yourself why is suicide being mentioned in chapter 9? Could John be talking about those who thought they would be raptured during the pre???

Actually, not only is there is a crown for those who were expectantly waiting, but remember Jesus Himself scolded the Jews for not being ready for His return (as were the Magi and many others)
He who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way then the lawless one will be revealed. We the church are the bride of Christ and referred to as a SHE, "HE" it seems likely is the Holy Spirit that restrains, but when the church is raptured the Holy Spirit will also be taken out of the way.
Hey, brother! Most of the verses and stories you mentioned refer to salvation from eternal death not salvation from the tribulation. It is important to read them in their context, otherwise, we might be tempted to read into the text ourselves. Even if it is an accident. Love you, Allen!
Hey I do agree with you, that “wrath” means “eternal death” and hell but the one scripture of 1 thess 1:10 “the wrath to come” I think refers to the tribulation and not eternal death because it’s “to come” meaning something in this physical world is coming… ie God’s wrath which is detailed in Revelation
@@hoc1992 Yes, I was mostly refering to all the other Scriptures he was using. There some that defiantly refer to the tribulation. He was quoting some of the texts that only refer to salvation and have nothing to do with the tribulation. We have to be careful with every single text we try to exposite :). Blessings!!
I recently became post-trib rapture, and it is very obvious that they are misreading these verses to try to make it fit rather than just accepting it as written. No hate though because I did this for years.

Some store up treasures, some do not. Therefore, some may be raptured pre-trib, while some are not. As a post-Triber, see how this verse fits in. Secrets? There is only truth and lies. We should always be seeking the truth. To seek the truth is to seek Jesus. To know the truth is to know Jesus. Jesus is the truth. The truth shall set us free. We should not be teaching or preaching anything that we don’t know to be 100% truth. If we are teaching something we’re not sure of, we should be teaching it. The Bible says preach the gospel, not our opinions. If we’re not 100% sure of something, than there is a good possibility it’s not true. If it’s not true, than it is a lie. To believe a lie is to be deceived. satan is the father of lies. To preach a lie, is to deceive people. To deceive others, is to do satan’s bidding. Do you see how this can be dangerous? Not just for the false teacher who will be accountable for everyone he deceived, but for the vulnerable Christians being deceived. There isn’t a single person who goes to hell that won’t be deceived in some way. The question is, can someone who is deceived make it to heaven?

Here’s the big question : Would we maintain our faith in God even if we have to go through it? Edit : The purpose of this comment was NOT TO debate over which rapture is correct. I personally believe in the pre trib rapture, but no matter the circumstances, if the pre trib rapture were to hypothetically not come true, that won’t change my relationship with Christ.
I believe that when the mark of the beast comes, that is not the wrath of God, the mark of the beast is the ultimate final test to all believers of Jesus Christ around the world.
I think part of the falling away will be Christians who choose to follow trendy false teachings that they want to hear. I think the other part of the falling away will be people who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture who lose faith because ultimately their faith was in the wrong thing. People who tend to believe in it are the folks who want the easy way out.

@Joseph As long as you're doing the right thing, God has no reason to send you to hell. However, it's not by our power or our deeds that guarantee we go to heaven, but by putting our trust in God and obeying whatever he tells us to do 🙏❤️
@Joseph please my fellow believer read John 3 verse 16 and see what those words are saying For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. So whosoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life. The verse is saying that if you believe and put your trust in Jesus you shall be saved romans 8 verse one says: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. You don’t have to be afraid if you believe that Christ is your Lord and savior

I’m a former Mormon who found the true and living Jesus. He who is full of grace and love. I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. Dr. David Jeremiah, in his book, The Great Disappearance, presents a logical and valid argument as well as to why the rapture can only be pre-trip. I think it’s unfair that those who haven’t found Jesus burn . Some people have no idea who or what the devil is . The devil has ruled earth since the beginning so how are people supposed to be aware of otherwise. I think it’s wicked those who haven’t had a chance to see Jesus just get burnt. .so wrong. And all the people who have died over the centuries just forgotten and banished to hell . I personally believe in a pretrib rapture. But whether there is or not, it shouldn’t be something that divides us as Christians. I have friends in my sbc church who don’t believe in it.
This is not something to take lightly, because Satan will appear as Christ to deceived those who believe in a Pre-Tribulation rapture and nobody want to be deceived but the sad thing many already deceived and will be deceiving. And those who deceived.. believing such false doctrines will not be ready for the true rapture.
If we just look at scripture we see that the second coming and rapture is the same event.its not that hard to see that. You skipped many many scriptures that obviously show that we leave after the great tribulation. Fyi Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 2 in the whole chapter that the coming of christ and our coming to him cannot happen unless the falling away and the man of sin is revealed. How can we leave before a "7 year great tribulation in secret", before the man of sin been revealed, when Paul himself said that the falling away and the revealing of the man of sin needs to happens first before we are taken? Are you calling Paul a Lair? Of course not.Thus debunking the theory ifs the church being the restrainer. This is just the beginning to show how pre-trib rapture is false just using scripture.
As a former pre-tribber, I tried to be like the bereans and study all the views and could no longer hold to a pre-trib view. As evangelicals, we tend to act like Catholics or Jehovah's Witnesses, where we need outside teachings and systems to be able to explain the clear word of God. The Prewrath View needs no outside systems or teachings to help hold it up. It only needs the scriptures. Please watch the documentary called 7 pre-trib problems. If you are confident in your belief then it won't scare you.

Jesus suffered for us why couldn’t the church suffer to bring others to God? Our eternal glory is so great compared to momentary suffering. Preserve as in Revelation. All those in Christ will be persecuted.

This is the biggest mistake pre-tribbers make therefore they have to say scriptures don't mean what they say. Now i believe alot of them don't know that Tribulation and Wrath are not the same the greek words are different but surely the theologians who write books pushing pretrib know this. So the question is why do they knowingly push this lie? Money, fame tell people what they want to hear. You will not suffer you are to prosper. It's basically an American gospel that doesn't reflect scripture. But i'm glad so many people are waking up to this lie and searching the scriptures for themselves.

I'll get straight to the point with the answer Matt 24 and rev 6 refers to the same thing - The opening of the seals show what Jesus warns would happen before he returns. Now lets read Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Take note the book of revelation must not be tampered with now look what happens when the sixth seal is opened - Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. You see what happens in the skies the sun the moon and the stars - now look at Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: You see this is the same event. now we know Jesus says in matthew 24 he comes back for his elect after these signs. Now look back at rev 6 after those signs. Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? - Take note vs 17 "For the great day of his wrath is come" - If the day of wrath as now come it's clear that the wrath of God was not being poured out before that. After that we see the trumpet Judgements and the bowls of wrath being poured out. But has you see the church is rapture before the wrath - as Paul said we are not appointed to wrath.

The reason he is getting the timing of the rapture wrong, is because he is confusing "The Day of The Lord"(a.k.a. Gods Wrath), with the Tribulation. The seven year period consists of 3.5 years of Tribulation which believers will still be on earth, and The Wrath which is poured out on the earth Immediately after the rapture. So Essentially, the Rapture is Post-Trib, but its also Pre-Wrath. Matthew 24:29-30/Mark 13:26/Luke 21:27, all make it very clear that Jesus will appear in the clouds "after the Tribulation ". (Matthew 24:29-30 KJV) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory Although He is wrong about the Rapture, All the commentors are right, this is not something that should cause division.

As a 10 year old kid I became so facinated with the book of Revelation. Thats when my love with End Time prophecy began. Consequently many of my elders, pastors , ministers etc would advise me not to read the book even though the book itself specifically states "Blessed are those that read and hear the words of this prophecy" Rev 1:3 Thank you so much for bringing these scriptures to light for all of us to understand.

First, why do they advise you not to read it? In Rev 1:3 it's the PROMISE of our God to us when we read it aloud and hear it. Revelation is the unveiling or uncovering of Jesus (1:1) The purpose why we have this prophecy because God let us know beforehand what's his plan. Second, I understand your elders, this has so many interpretations. Third, I advise you to read it again and again, and ask God for an understanding with the help of the Holy Spirit. Lastly, we need to study it for ourselves and not just accept what we hear, some preachers have their own opinion and perspectives that was unbiblical. We need to know directly the truth in the 'God-breathed word God' God bless you brother and your family.

That was a good argument for a pre-tribulation rapture. I have grown up being taught this and still hold to that view but it was recently cemented for me while reading a very familiar passage of scripture. I have read this many times before but this time it stood out to me more than before: Genesis 18:23: Then Abraham approached him and said: "Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?" Jump to verse 25: Far be it from you to do such a thing to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike". God will deliver us from the wrath to come because he is immutable (he does not change)! God bless you Brother!

If we just look at scripture we see that the second coming and rapture is the same event.its not that hard to see that. You skipped many many scriptures that obviously show that we leave after the great tribulation. Fyi Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 2 in the whole chapter that the coming of christ and our coming to him cannot happen unless the falling away and the man of sin is revealed. How can we leave before a "7 year great tribulation in secret", before the man of sin been revealed, when Paul himself said that the falling away and the revealing of the man of sin needs to happens first before we are taken? There is no such thing as a rapture. If there were, it would be clearly stated in Mark 13, Revelation, and Matthew 24 where God tells us how the end times will happen and there is no mention of any rapture. In fact, the Rapture is refuted Isaiah 52:12 and Ezekiel 13:20.
@@BradleyKimmes Read 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The phrase in v 17 is "caught up"; this is translated from the Greek harpadzo - from which we get the word harpoon. If you know abouyt the action of the harpoon, you will get some idea of what is meant - a sudden snatching of a shark or other aquatic animal out of the water. Rapture is from rapturo which is in the Latin translation. It means exactly the same thing. Read my post abopve and go to the link listed.

The point is not to worry about when the rapture will be. If you know that you are living a life that is pleasing to God, why worry about whether it’s gonna be pre, mid or post or whatever? Focus on cultivating your relationship with God and when it happens, TADAAAA up you go automatically. Blessings.

There is not a pre tribulation rapture, but just know that there is a reward for you in Heaven. You are correct, no matter what post tribulation believers think it is pre-tribulation 100%. you must read the Bible through to come up with that conclusion.
I’ve been battling it everyday going back and forth. I’m afraid it’s taking my focus away from my relationship. I pray every day that God keep me focused on Him.
The biggest reason people say Pre Trib is false is because the word rapture was added in around the 1850’s. It was added as a simple replacement for the phrase “caught up”, it wasn’t trying to rewrite the idea or anything

When the tribulation begins and people experience its effects, the Second Coming will not feel sudden or unexpected for the people. The Post-Trib view interprets the phrase "that the day would overtake you like a thief" (1 Thess 5:4) to imply that believers will not “feel” surprised or caught off guard like encountering a thief. According to this view, both unbelievers and believers will go through and “experience” the same events, but “unbelievers” will “feel” the suddenness and surprise of the Lord’s Coming, whereas “believers,” being aware of Jesus' coming, will not “feel” that sense of surprise as if encountering an unexpected thief. However, I have serious doubts about whether this is what Paul intended to convey in 1 Thess 5. Paul's intention seems to be more than just a matter of “feelings.” Rather, Paul is suggesting that while unbelievers will indeed “experience” the tribulation as a theft, believers will not actually go through that “same experience” of tribulation as a thief in the night. It’s not a matter of “feelings” but actual “experience.” This is why I adhere to the Pre-tribulation view, as I believe "The Day of the Lord" is synonymous with the entire 7-year tribulation period. The "onset" of the tribulation, its beginning, may come unexpectedly like a thief in the night (1 Thess 5:2), but for believers, "that day" (referring to the 7-year tribulation) will not overtake us as a thief in the night (1 Thess 5:4) because we will be raptured, "caught up" (1 Thess 4:17) just before the tribulation "that day" begins. Just a simple and natural reading of 1 Thess 4-5 will lead any readers to this conclusion.

It would be nice to think that we will escape tribulation, but I believe that the pre-tribulation rapture is a wishful thinking, ear tickler from people who think they are a special case... 2 Timothy 4: 3 For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires. Matthew 13:36-43 (emphasis added) This is just one example of the timeline God provides for us in His Word, and it would have to be ignored if pre-trib were true. The harvest happens at the end of the age and the ones taken away first are the wicked. (This parallels Noah, the Passover, the plagues, Lot, etc). The 'righteous' were still present when the wicked received judgement but were brought through it on faith. They didn't escape to heaven during judgement, as no human or corruptible flesh can enter heaven, only the incorruptible- a change that doesn't happen until the last day. God's wrath and Satan's wrath are very different and the Bible clearly describes the Great Tribulation as the time of Satan's wrath. God's wrath comes after the Tribulation as described in Matthew 24. We will not suffer God's wrath but it is dangerous to teach we will escape the coming persecution and trials Scripture tells us to prepare for during Satan's wrath. He who endures to the end will be saved. There can only be one "end". God will not beat up His "bride" before the wedding, but the Tribulation is Satan's time, and he will do everything in his power to create a falling away. Even the verse about 'falling away' presupposes there are believers in the Tribulation, because you can't fall away as an unbeliever- you're already fallen. So much more to address, but please pray about this and read the Scriptures in their entirety. Conflicting views can't both be true because the Bible does not contradict itself, so if you have to ignore things like Jesus repeatedly saying in John 6 that we will be raised imperishable on the last day, or the parable of the weeds above that show the wicked will be removed first, you have to confront what you are allowing yourself to do. I appreciate the work you do, and I would caution that with so many looking to you for guidance, that you make sure the views you present as truth don't require other verses in the Bible to be ignored.
Wow… I’v always been taught Pre-Trib. I was always confused by Matthew 24 because it, to me, always seemed like we would be going thru it. But what is your explanation for the 7 Year marriage supper and Luke 17… they will be buting and selling, eating and drinking, marrying when one is taken and another one left? Where are they taken too? And why taken when we are supposed to come back with Jesus at the end of the age to destroy God’s enemies.
I agree Scripture has always led me to believe we will go through the Tribulation and are meant to endure to the End. I'm not fully sure I understand all of your questions but I'll do my best to answer and if I'm missing something, please let me know. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 says, "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." So we that are alive SHALL NOT PRECEDE those who are asleep (dead in Christ, awaiting transformation), the dead shall rise FIRST, THEN we that are living and remain will meet the resurrected in the air with our Lord. There is a clear order established. The resurrection of the dead and following that, we will then join our Savior and those who died in Christ in the air. Regarding the marriage supper, if you read Revelations 19 it is describing and is even titled Rejoicing in Heaven followed by the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. The latter section begins with "Then". So again we have this situation where we are given an order of events. Following the avenging of blood of His servants and the rejoicing in heaven of His just and true judgements, THEN is the marriage supper. One final judgement, one new heaven, the resurrection of the dead, one marriage supper. Luke 17 says this, "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot-they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all- so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it. I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left.” And they said to him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the carcass is, there the vultures will gather.” Luke 17:26-35, 37 In the days of Noah, who were "taken" away and who was left? The wicked were taken, Noah's family was left. Likewise in the time of Lot, who were taken and who left? The wicked were again the ones taken. The faithful in these stories were kept from or delivered from judgement as it will be in the End, but they were not the ones removed, they were the ones left behind while the wicked were taken. The Parable of the Tares describes this order- the weeds (wicked) first are burned and THEN the harvest (faithful) gathered. This pattern is repeated in Scriptures and I don't believe that is without significance. Noah and Lot of course, but also the Egyptians and Israelites first during the plagues, then at Passover, and again as the Israelites were delivered (left behind) through the Red Sea and the Egyptians were swept away (destroyed/taken). Rahab and her family were delivered (left behind) while her city was judged (destroyed/taken). Etc. The righteous in all of these cases still had to endure through very difficult times, impossible times really, but God in His faithfulness delivered them. Each case when one is taken and one is left, it is the wicked taken, the faithful who are left behind. Psalm 37:10-11 and 34-38 echo this: "In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there. But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace...Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off. I have seen a wicked, ruthless man, spreading himself like a green laurel tree. But he passed away, and behold, he was no more; though I sought him, he could not be found. Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace. But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed; the future of the wicked shall be cut off." Lastly on Luke 17:37 and Matthew 24:28 it closes with Jesus telling His disciples one is taken and one is left, and the disciples want to understand where the taken go. Jesus responds that with ,"Where the carcass is, there the vultures will gather." That doesn't sound like where the righteous will be taken. The bodies left as carcasses, to be eaten by vultures are surely those of the wicked. Both Ezekiel 39:17-19 and Revelation 19:17-18 support that birds will be called upon in the End to feast on the remains of the wicked, not the righteous. A lot to unfold, but hopefully this helps. Let them please read Matthew 24:29 Immediately after tribulations of the days the 1. The sun will be darkened 2.the moon darkened 3. Stars fall from the sky 4. He appear in the sky with fierce countenance and the peopled the earth mourn because of him. 5. Then he command angels to gather his elect from all over the world. We then meet him in the sky as apostle Paul mentioned. That’s the cronology of events. Those whom God will not permit to go into tribulations will escape through or rested throughout death. There is no multiple raptures where others are left behind and then collected after tribulations.

They weren't taken away to heaven. They escaped judgement yes, but still remained on earth through very difficult circumstances but were delivered from judgement as we will be (either in death or escape). To believe we are raptured first and that there are multiple raptures requires ignoring the chronology Scripture clearly lays out in numerous places. I understand why you believe what you do, and I hope we won't let this separate brothers of the same faith. I believe Scripture doesn't contradict itself, so if one interpretation requires us to ignore several other Scriptures in order to be true, it cannot be accurate.

“The wrath of God” is not the same as “The great tribulation” This was even proved from the passages read in the video itself. The former is from God Himself as a pronunciation of His judgement while the latter is as a result of different handwork of men and the devil acting through and in men. ““If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.” Matthew 24:22 The above passage points clearly to the fact that the “elect” would go through some of the troubles of “those days” and it would be for their sake that those days would be cut short. I believe those “days” refers to the great tribulation as described in same Matthew 24:21 “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again.” The final point is this: ““Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” Matthew 24:29-31 NIV This final passage above tells us about the rapture and it is specifically stated that it happened “after the distress of those days” So there is the answer. I actually grew up in a church that learning and teaching the book of Revelation was forbidden which has left me confused on all of this so this video was very helpful. I've always believed on a rapture before the millenial reign but you explaining these occurrences and the order of them helps me greatly. Thank you!
The pastors who think that the book of Revelation should not be taught have apparently not read even the first chapter of the book. Revelation is the only book in the entire Bible that promises a special BLESSING to those who read and hear the words of the book. Revelation 1:3 " 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near."
Pre-trib or no pre-trib if we are all true believers we will be with our Lord during the end. Just gotta have faith in that itself. We WILL be safe & protected no matter what happens. On the other side of the coin, respectful Christian debates help sharpen our sword & I love all of them.
Doesn't God give the beast permission to wage war on the saints and to overcome them? I keep hearing people say, Oh Christians will be safe. Yes some will be alive when Jesus returns but a great deal of people, saved and unsaved will be murdered. Whoever Christians are during the GT, they in particular will be hunted down not those who bow down & worship the beast and accept the mark of the beast. This is not the passover where you'll be locked away in safety. We are told, warned rather, that what is coming has never happened before on the earth. It all seems or sounds familiar of past trials but trust, this will be different. In the end Jesus wins. He won Calvary Cross. To God be the glory.

I want to believe in pre-trib rapture, but could the histories of Daniel and Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego be considered types in the Old Testament of being kept safe during a tribulation a post trib rapture? Any input is much appreciated!
Will you recognize truth, when you hear it? People are getting confused with troubles and great troubles. Tribulation means trouble. Have you ever been mocked, scoffed at, slandered, hated without a cause, betrayed, rejected? Those are part of our tribulation walk in Christ, those are part of being persecuted. As true Christians we are often rejected by children of this world. If you are blending in with the world, something is wrong. The tribulation of mankind started in the Garden of Eden, with satan's deception, leading to the fall of mankind. The continued persecutions of the Children of God has been happening throughout history. Look how Cain( the unrighteous one), killed his brother, Abel( the righteous one). This persecution will get greater as times get more wicked. Look what happened to Christians during the peak of the Roman persecutions. They went through Great Tribulations also; being thrown to lions to be ripped alive and eaten, burnt at the stake, beheaded, thrown into fires, etc. The tribulation is not God’s wrath. It is satan's rule, and he hates God/Christ and all who follows God/Christ. As Christians we all have troubles/tribulations in this world. *There is no secret, private rapture before tribulations. For some reason, most people prefer another Gospel, and because they reject the truth, they fall into deception. I know people/ pastors personally who believe in pretribulation rapture, so everything that is happening now cannot be of the beast, because they have not been raptured; and you know what? They encourage all they know to take the jabs. They have been deceived by another gospel. Wasn't that what satan did in Eden? He preached another gospel to Eve. If you still believe in a pre rapture, you may be a little confused.
Pre-Trib Rapture is a False Teaching that has many Christians Deceived. Jesus makes it clear in Matthew 13 Parable of the Wheat and the Tares and the Correct Order in which HE will Harvest the Earth. In fact the Tares are gathered up FIRST and NOT the Wheat. I do not want to be the first group gathered up [The Tares ] but the latter group called the WHEAT.

I’m amillennial at the moment too. I’m saying this because it’s not the straw the breaks the camel for me - at the end of the day - Jesus comes back for us!
@@twomuchsauce4638 I grew up (and still am in) a dispensational church so I'm pretty familiar about dispensational beliefs including eschatology =) I don't doubt their faith and neither do they doubt mine, but my theological studies have led me to be more convinced of amillennialism and covenant theology than of dispensationalism and pre-trib premilleninialism. This is something I don't like discussing in-depth on the Internet (LOL) and I do believe we can all agree to disagree on these non-essential aspects while still glorifying Jesus and highly anticipating His return!
I have a question, as an amillennial, do you believe we won't spend a millenia on Earth AND HEAVEN(emphasis just to make sure you understand which part is actually my question)? I already believe, as an Adventist, that we won't spend the millenia here, but in the kingdom of Heaven, itself.
I taught your view for some 20 years, but after 100s of hours of more study would have to take exception to your explanations. There's not the time nor the space in a Facebook comment to refute all your findings, nor to share my own...it would take a book. Before that time I was a full time pastor and even taught a different view of end times. So though I don't believe that many of your examples meet the demands of context or the harmony of the Scriptures, at the same time, I appreciate your enthusiasm and desire to seek the truth. And I think the bottomline is that we all look forward to His coming regardless of our differences of belief on this issue.

Yeah pre-tribulation is found in 1 Thessalonians 4 ( Day of the Lord Jesus Christ). Chapter 5 deals with the Day of the Lord. Two different things altogether. Just like the rapture and 2nd coming are 2 different events. In Revelation of Jesus Christ you have heaven opened up twice. 1st time church goes up...then not mentioned in word or symbol from 4-18. Then again heaven opened up church coming down 19. To put the church in the middle takes some mental gymnastics.
Dr. Reagan is a wonderful author and speaker.... we are blessed to have him so near us. He has come the past 2 years to speak at a Prophecy conference our church held and Nathan Jones came too (they are about 30 mins away from our church) and gave phenomenal sessions. We are sad to hear of Dr. Reagan's retirement but pray God continues to lead him to write more books. No doubt Nathan and Tim will continue publishing and producing Christ in Prophecy with just as much wonderful content, discussions, and guest appearances.
Hi Past Parr. Thank you very much for all the very helpful messages you put on your channel. One question though... Isnt the restraining force Gods Holy Spirit as in John 16:8. Because without the Holy Spirit the church is powerless of which there are so many excamples in the world today of christians and churches that is powerless to meet the spiritual needs of other people. The reason he is getting the timing of the rapture wrong, is because he is confusing "The Day of The Lord"(a.k.a. Gods Wrath), with the Tribulation. The seven year period consists of 3.5 years of Tribulation which believers will still be on earth, and The Wrath which is poured out on the earth Immediately after the rapture. So Essentially, the Rapture is Post-Trib, but its also Pre-Wrath. Matthew 24:29-30/Mark 13:26/Luke 21:27, all make it very clear that Jesus will appear in the clouds "after the Tribulation ". (Matthew 24:29-30 KJV) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory Although He is wrong about the Rapture, All the commentors are right, this is not something that should cause division.
@@deangelo17 while I appreciate your statement at the end regarding this not being something we should divide over, I think you should be very careful about claiming that somebody is wrong about the rapture. You do realize that the majority of biblical scholars today affirm a pre-tribulation rapture, right? But, all of these scholars will admit that they also see some validity for other views and admit that they may not know everything about the subject that they think. So because of that, I think we should all be very careful to dogmatically say that somebody is definitely right or wrong on a topic like this.
@@thebeatagp When it comes to bible prophecy, I am dogmatic about nothing, except wether the rapture is pre-trib or post-trib. This is not a debatable topic, when you have clear statements from Jesus Christ himself in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 saying that he would come after the tribulation. It doesnt matter what scholars say, that means zero to me. It is 100% biblical to call someone wrong. I would handle it a little different if you were a pastor, but this is not church, and this is not congregation.
It seems a lot of people ignore what Jesus himself said about it and instead opt to believe what his apostles said over him. I can't just ignore what Jesus said.
And it’s important to understand who the audience is... in Matthew 24 Jesus is talking to the Jews in the Olivet Discourse. In John 14-17 He is speaking to the Church in the Upper Room Discourse. Once you understand that it makes a lot of sense.
@@jeannettemcg If Jesus was speaking only to the Jews in Matthew 24, then I guess we can discard all of Jesus’ teaching in the book of Matthew as they should all be for the Jews. Why single out Matthew 24? Did you know that of all the 4 gospels Matthew used the word “Church” more that any other. In fact, if I’m not mistaken, the word “Church” is never used in the gospel according to John. So why conclude that Matthew is only written for Jews and even worse only Matthew 24? Secondly, in Matthew 24, Jesus says that his followers would be “hated of all men” for His name’s sake. Now which Orthodox Jew would be willing to die for the name of Jesus when they still don’t recognise him as Messiah? Just points to consider.
And please remember love and kindness if theres disagreements which there will be concerning the rapture. If we "win" an argument being rude or condescending we are wrong brothers and sisters.
We are currently reading/studying through the Book of Revelation verse by verse in our church and we have now reached chapter 13. It has been intense I tell you but it has also been eye/ear/heart opening. This video was helpful since I personally believed that a Pretribulation Rapture made more sense and had more Scripture to support it.
I just watched another video from a woman that believed in a mid or post Tribulation rapture, and none of it sat well with me. Your preaching makes much more sense, especially taking into account God's character and consistency throughout scripture. He consistently removes his followers from the terror that is coming. Noah, Lot, Amos, etc. I love that quote about God not putting His bride through an abusive seven years while she waits for Him. THAT is a loving God.
Pre trib is heresy. It didnt sit well meaning what? I dont want to assume but if you dont like the idea of having to suffer that doesnt make fact fiction. Dont forget our King suffered...why wouldnt we his followers also suffer? This isnt Gods world. He has a prepared a world in which we WONT suffer but that is not this world. Faith and love in Christ and he will fill you with strength. All of us Christians are in this together! May God bring you strength

There is no exegetical way to extract rapture out of apostasy. Nope, the apostasy happens first, then the son of perdition is revealed, then Jesus comes with fire and holy angels.

But he is wrong, and we are seeing it. Gods wrath, and the tribulation, (Jacob's trouble i.e. satan,s wrath against the church and Israel), are two totally different things. Once the pastor realizes his, error, he will be right on track. And remember the early church did not teach the pretrib rapture, it was introduced in the 1800's by Charles, Darby, and others, many of whom made false predictions. Please people get your bible Daniel, Revelations, Matthew, Thes, etc. do the study, on who will go through and have tribulations, and who the wrath is for, and why they are separate events. dont believe me or any internet pastor do your own research of both sides and let the holy spirit guide. In any event, be prepared to go through the tribulation, because if pastor is wrong, many will be mad at God for not rapturing them out of the trouble, and may lose faith, or even take the mark of the beast, and believe the antichrist, since their mind is conditioned to believe it cannot be the mark of the beast, and he cannot be the antichrist because they are not raptured yet. remember how satan tricked eve he told her a lot of truth, but with a lie, though shall not surely die. Revelation 3:10 says, “I will keep you from the time of testing coming upon the whole earth.” Sounds like pre-trib, BUT the word translated "keep" above is the Greek word tereo and it means “to guard by keeping the eye upon.” It does NOT mean to protect by taking us out before the tribulation starts.
I did not find anything in my research showing your interpretation that it does not mean to keep... I am not an expert in Greek by any means.... but the first translation is keep and then the 2nd is to guard , either one can be understood as Jesus keeping us and guarding us in heaven before we return with him.... with ALL the holy ones in Zechariah 14, please send further information to support your contention, I am a seeker and am open to information that helps me tobetter understand, but , up to now, revelation 3 10 still is a solid pre trib verse unless i discover information to prove otherwise.

NOTHING remotely close to removing from danger. Also, it is the same word (tereo) in the verse in John 17:15 that says, "“I am not asking you to take them out of the world. But I am asking that you KEEP (tereo) them safe from the Evil One."
You have to look at the purpose of the tribulation, it’s not for the church and the church isn’t mentioned …if the church was there it would have massive implications on the earth during the antichrist kingdom, but the whole trib is focused on the nation if Israel
REV 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the SAINTS, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. The saints will be here for the enemy to wage war on. I lean towards mid tribulation, because God will pour out his power on his witnesses(us) for 42months (3 1/2 yrs) before we are overcome.

No true followers of Christ is left behind. The left behind/pretribulation rapture are deceptions. It is false. Those in Christ, the dead first will rise, then those who are alive and remain will be changed instantly, and will be caught up together in the air to meet Christ, who has returned to bring the Wrath of God, the Father. All who are as they say, " Left behind," are the unsaved, who are about to endure the Wrath of Almighty God. Grace is over. Wrath has come. Deception can only be decerned by the Spirit of Truth( the Holy Spirit). Deception sound so true, and so easy, and so comforting. Deception doesn't even sound like lies at all, and that is why it is called deception. Why do people take the m@rk? It is written that they took it because they were deceived. How? Because the love of the truth was not in them. If you are saved in Christ, then you will not be appointed to the Wrath of God. That is what it means to be saved. Deception can't reach you as long as you stand on The Rock(Jesus)? A thief in the night refers to the unsaved, because they are not looking for Christ. They don't even believe in Him. People are getting confused with troubles and great troubles. Tribulation means trouble. Have you ever been mocked, scoffed at, slandered, hated without a cause, betrayed, rejected? Those are part of our tribulation walk in Christ, those are part of being persecuted. As true Christians we are often rejected by children of this world. If you are blending in with the world, something is wrong. The tribulation of mankind started in the Garden of Eden, with satan's deception, leading to the fall of mankind. The continued persecutions of the Children of God has been happening throughout history. Look how Cain( the unrighteous one), killed his brother, Abel( the righteous one). This persecution will get greater as times get more wicked. Look what happened to Christians during the peak of the Roman persecutions. They went through Great Tribulations also; being thrown to lions to be ripped alive and eaten, burnt at the stake, beheaded, thrown into fires, etc. The tribulation is not God’s wrath. It is satan's rule, and he hates God/Christ and all who follows God/Christ. As Christians we all have troubles/tribulations in this world. *There is no secret, private rapture before tribulations. For some reason, most people prefer another Gospel, and because they reject the truth, they fall into deception. I know people/ pastors personally who believe in pretribulation rapture, so everything that is happening now cannot be of the beast, because they have not been raptured; and you know what? They encourage all they know to take the jabs. They have been deceived by another gospel. Wasn't that what satan did in Eden? He preached another gospel to Eve. Agree, and what should be a *MOTIVATOR* to help your focus, would be the rapture! *Titus **2:13* "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:". We're told to look for Christ's return, *NOT* the tribulation.
Well done brother Allen. This presentation of the pretrebulation rapture was very clear and concise. I have been a pre tribulation believer ever since 1970 , when I learned from men like Hall Lindsey, Chuck Missler, J Vernon McGee., David Jerimiah, David Hunt also Tim La Haye with his set of books were he wrote on the subject. I'm waiting on the eminent appearing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that can happen any moment. Lord Jesus Come! MARANATHA!!

Rev. 13:10 I can go on but it appears to state the same anyway. If there was going to be a rapture, it would probably be mid, before the 7 bowls. But i believe God wants us to endure to the end which is the resurrection. If Jesus wants us to be aware of pre-trib rapture- He would have stated it as so in Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21:5. If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[a] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. I think there will be believers who will die for their faith during the tribulation period. These are not from the church age. The tribulation will be the time of Jacob’s trouble. Yes, in this life believers do have troubles and some have been martyrs. The great tribulation is an unprecedented time in human history in which God will unleash His wrath on this earth. While we may defer on the timing of the rapture we cannot deny there will be a rapture confer 1Thess: 4:11-18 study the word caught up.

@@tamaralindsay4777 our belief in pre, mid or post rapture is not what sends us to hell. It is dieing without the forgiveness of Christ that sends us to hell. If you beleive pretrib to be false doctrine really makes no difference.

Firstly, if you study the concept of "The Day of the Lord" in the Old Testament, you will discover that it is not a 24-hour period or an instantaneous event connected only to the Second Coming of Christ. Instead, the prophets repeatedly describe "The Day of the Lord" as a sequence of events leading up to the coming of the LORD. It is a complex series of judgments and not a singular event. Secondly, Jesus Himself confirms this understanding in Matthew 24. He divides the first half of the tribulation (Matthew 24:4-14) from the second half (Matthew 24:15-28), with verse 15 serving as a dividing point. Jesus clearly mentions the Seventieth Week of Daniel (Dan 9:27) here in 24:15, which refers to the future Antichrist setting up an abomination of desolation in the temple. The 7-year tribulation begins with the Seal judgments and concludes with the Bowl judgments. Thus, we see Jesus mentioning this entire 7-year tribulation as a sequence of events in Matthew 24. The fact that Matthew 24:4-28 encompasses the entirety of "the Day (ἡμέρα) of the Lord" is confirmed by Jesus' statement, "But immediately after the tribulation of those days (ἡμέρα)" (24:29), people will witness the coming of the Son of Man: the Second Coming (24:30). The Second Coming occurs "after" the "Day (ἡμέρα) of the Lord," specifically, "immediately after the tribulation of those days (ἡμέρα)." Therefore, it is unreasonable to equate "the Day of the Lord" solely with the singular event of the "Second Coming of Christ." Jesus Himself even emphasized that when individuals observe "all these things," they should recognize that He is near (24:33). "All these things" refers to the entire sequence of events during the tribulation (the Day of the Lord, 24:4-28). The Second Coming is preceded by specific and clear "signs," similar to how people can anticipate the approach of summer (24:32). The Day of the Lord, the tribulation, is a "signless" event without visible signs. It is noteworthy that the "onset" of the Day of the Lord is the same as what Jesus referred to as the "onset" of the tribulation in Matthew 24: "All these are the beginning of birth pains (ὠδίν)" (24:8). Both Paul and Jesus affirm that the Day of the Lord is not a singular event but a sequence of events (7 years) leading up to the Second Coming. Both Jesus and Paul affirm that the "onset" of the Day of the Lord signifies only the beginning of birth pains. Unbelievers cannot "escape" the Day when it begins and the sequence of events unfolds. Paul further states, "But you (second person: believers), brethren, are not in darkness, that the day (ἡμέρα) would overtake you like a thief" (5:4). The onset of "that day" cannot seize believers violently because Paul explained in the preceding context that they will be "caught up" to be with the Lord (4:17). Furthermore, if we equate the Day with Christ's Second Coming, it becomes difficult to comprehend how unbelievers can say "peace and safety" (5:3) and live their lives normally just before the Second Coming of Christ, given that they are currently experiencing the terrible wrath of God during that time. Lastly, look at 2 Thessalonians 2. Some of the Thessalonians were disturbed by a report claiming that the day of the Lord had arrived (2:2). If, in this context, the day of the Lord is synonymous with the second coming, then it would be impossible for them to be shaken in mind. Instead of being troubled, they should have rejoiced that the Day of the Lord had come! If the Christians had mistakenly believed, based on Paul's previous teaching, that they were currently going through the tribulation and held a post-tribulationist view, they would have likely been rejoicing rather than troubled by the idea of sudden deliverance. When we consider the overall context of 1-2 Thessalonians, the only logical explanation is as follows: The Thessalonians had been previously taught that the rapture would occur before the day of the Lord. The lie they heard just before Paul wrote his second letter to them suggested that the day of the Lord had come, and being informed of the day of the Lord's arrival necessarily implied that they had missed the rapture. This would undoubtedly be disconcerting, and it would have shaken the Thessalonians from their composure. The pre-tribulational rapture is not lacking in biblical support and evidence. In fact, there is ample evidence to support it. I humbly believe that viewing 1 Thessalonians 4-5 in its entirety, the pre-tribulation position appears to be the most natural reading. Hopefully, this helps.
How about " the day of the WRATH of the Lamb has come and who is able to stand?" from Revelation ch 6 ? This combines the WRATH that Paul says we are "not appointed unto" in Thessalonians with the OT idea of the "Day of the Lord".

I think people belive in pre tribulation just because it's more convenient for them they don't want to take in consideration that they would have to stay for God's Wrath
It is FAR better to believe in the words of our Lord and Savior rather than to take man's words. Our pretrib brothers will be unpleasantly suprised. There isn't going to be a snatching away just before it gets really bad. Jesus said He would send His angels to gather His elect AFTER the tribulation. I will not believe anybody's else's words. Be strong and be courageous for the LORD will not allow us to go through what we cannot bear.
I have two thoughts on this.
1- I HOPE it's pre-trib!
2- It doesn't matter what I think, Christ will return when He returns, and we must endure whatever comes between now and then, be it a tribulation or otherwise.
People are getting confused with troubles and great troubles. Tribulation means trouble. Have you ever been mocked, scoffed at, slandered, hated without a cause, betrayed, rejected? Those are part of our tribulation walk in Christ, those are part of being persecuted. As true Christians we are often rejected by children of this world. If you are blending in with the world, something is wrong.
The tribulation of mankind started in the Garden of Eden, with satan's deception, leading to the fall of mankind. The continued persecutions of the Children of God has been happening throughout history. Look how Cain( the unrighteous one), killed his brother, Abel( the righteous one). This persecution will get greater as times get more wicked. Look what happened to Christians during the peak of the Roman persecutions. They went through Great Tribulations also; being thrown to lions to be ripped alive and eaten, burnt at the stake, beheaded, thrown into fires, etc. The tribulation is not God’s wrath. It is satan's rule, and he hates God/Christ and all who follows God/Christ. As Christians we all have troubles/tribulations in this world.
*There is no secret, private rapture before tribulations.
For some reason, most people prefer another Gospel, and because they reject the truth, they fall into deception. I know people/ pastors personally who believe in pretribulation rapture, so everything that is happening now cannot be of the beast, because they have not been raptured; and you know what? They encourage all they know to take the jabs. They have been deceived by another gospel. Wasn't that what satan did in Eden? He preached another gospel to Eve.

Don’t conflate tribulations with “The Tribulation”
I used to be caught up in this debate. Many valid points. But I decided to focus on today only and try my best to fellowship with GOD and try to love my neighbor as I would love myself.

It’s really not a debate. It’s definitely mid trib. And those who really and truly follow scripture know, and so called “debate” to warn the othe Christians in not to make the mistake of being deceived. Our own personal salvation depends on it . Gods wrath does not start at chapter 6, but rather in 16.. clearly starts mentioning the 7 bowls of Gods wrath. Chapter 6 is talking about Gods judgements. Matthew 24 Jesus is talking to the disciples.. and us.. all who follow him. We will face some things. And if the masses of the church are not preparing thinking we will not see some things, that increases the chance of many to not endure. Ask yourself why is suicide being mentioned in chapter 9? Could John be talking about those who thought they would be raptured during the pre???

He who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way then the lawless one will be revealed. We the church are the bride of Christ and referred to as a SHE, "HE" it seems likely is the Holy Spirit that restrains, but when the church is raptured the Holy Spirit will also be taken out of the way.

Hey I do agree with you, that “wrath” means “eternal death” and hell but the one scripture of 1 thess 1:10 “the wrath to come” I think refers to the tribulation and not eternal death because it’s “to come” meaning something in this physical world is coming… ie God’s wrath which is detailed in Revelation

He was quoting some of the texts that only refer to salvation and have nothing to do with the tribulation. We have to be careful with every single text we try to exposite :). Blessings!!

Edit : The purpose of this comment was NOT TO debate over which rapture is correct. I personally believe in the pre trib rapture, but no matter the circumstances, if the pre trib rapture were to hypothetically not come true, that won’t change my relationship with Christ.

I think part of the falling away will be Christians who choose to follow trendy false teachings that they want to hear. I think the other part of the falling away will be people who believe in a pre-tribulation rapture who lose faith because ultimately their faith was in the wrong thing. People who tend to believe in it are the folks who want the easy way out.

As a former pre-tribber, I tried to be like the bereans and study all the views and could no longer hold to a pre-trib view. As evangelicals, we tend to act like Catholics or Jehovah's Witnesses, where we need outside teachings and systems to be able to explain the clear word of God. The Prewrath View needs no outside systems or teachings to help hold it up. It only needs the scriptures. Please watch the documentary called 7 pre-trib problems. If you are confident in your belief then it won't scare you.

You see this is the same event. now we know Jesus says in matthew 24 he comes back for his elect after these signs.
Now look back at rev 6 after those signs. Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? -
Take note vs 17 "For the great day of his wrath is come" - If the day of wrath as now come it's clear that the wrath of God was not being poured out before that. After that we see the trumpet Judgements and the bowls of wrath being poured out. But has you see the church is rapture before the wrath - as Paul said we are not appointed to wrath.

The reason he is getting the timing of the rapture wrong, is because he is confusing "The Day of The Lord"(a.k.a. Gods Wrath), with the Tribulation. The seven year period consists of 3.5 years of Tribulation which believers will still be on earth, and The Wrath which is poured out on the earth Immediately after the rapture. So Essentially, the Rapture is Post-Trib, but its also Pre-Wrath.
Matthew 24:29-30/Mark 13:26/Luke 21:27, all make it very clear that Jesus will appear in the clouds "after the Tribulation ".

As a 10 year old kid I became so facinated with the book of Revelation. Thats when my love with End Time prophecy began. Consequently many of my elders, pastors , ministers etc would advise me not to read the book even though the book itself specifically states "Blessed are those that read and hear the words of this prophecy" Rev 1:3

First, why do they advise you not to read it? In Rev 1:3 it's the PROMISE of our God to us when we read it aloud and hear it. Revelation is the unveiling or uncovering of Jesus (1:1) The purpose why we have this prophecy because God let us know beforehand what's his plan.
Second, I understand your elders, this has so many interpretations.
Third, I advise you to read it again and again, and ask God for an understanding with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Lastly, we need to study it for ourselves and not just accept what we hear, some preachers have their own opinion and perspectives that was unbiblical. We need to know directly the truth in the 'God-breathed word God'

Is Jesus God? - Jesus claimed to be God.
Take for example the words of Jesus in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. That was a good argument for a pre-tribulation rapture. I have grown up being taught this and still hold to that view but it was recently cemented for me while reading a very familiar passage of scripture. I have read this many times before but this time it stood out to me more than before: Genesis 18:23: Then Abraham approached him and said: "Will you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?" Jump to verse 25: Far be it from you to do such a thing to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike". God will deliver us from the wrath to come because he is immutable (he does not change)! God bless you Brother!

There is no such thing as a rapture. If there were, it would be clearly stated in Mark 13, Revelation, and Matthew 24 where God tells us how the end times will happen and there is no mention of any rapture. In fact, the Rapture is refuted Isaiah 52:12 and Ezekiel 13:20.

Read 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. The phrase in v 17 is "caught up"; this is translated from the Greek harpadzo - from which we get the word harpoon. If you know abouyt the action of the harpoon, you will get some idea of what is meant - a sudden snatching of a shark or other aquatic animal out of the water.
Rapture is from rapturo which is in the Latin translation. It means exactly the same thing. Read my post abopve and go to the link listed.
Then why does 2 Thessalonians 2:3 say concerning the Day of the LORD-
“Let no man deceive you by any means, for that Day shall not come, unless there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”
(Antichrist comes before the day of the LORD)
But you will try and say that the day of the lord and the rapture are two separate events , but they’re not as we see here-

We can see from these 2 verses that the Day of the LORD, the ressurection of the dead, the return of Jesus, and the rapture are all one event.

The point is not to worry about when the rapture will be. If you know that you are living a life that is pleasing to God, why worry about whether it’s gonna be pre, mid or post or whatever?

There is not a pre tribulation rapture, but just know that there is a reward for you in Heaven. Have the confidence of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, because weather God was going to save them or not, they would still not bow down to Nebachadnezzar's idol.

These verses seem to be reaching hard. When you look chronologically, it’s clearly after the tribulation (Jesus’ words in Matthew & Mark, Paul’s in 1/2 Thessalonians, and John’s Revelation in 19-20)

The biggest reason people say Pre Trib is false is because the word rapture was added in around the 1850’s. It was added as a simple replacement for the phrase “caught up”, it wasn’t trying to rewrite the idea or anything

Post-trib view understands "The Day of the Lord" to refer exclusively to the “Second Coming” of Christ, which occurs after the 7-year tribulation. On the other hand, Pre-trib view considers "The Day of the Lord" to mean the entire sequence of events of the “7-year tribulation.” I struggle to understand how "The Day of the Lord" can be described as coming like a thief in the night if it is only connected to the Second Coming of Christ. When the tribulation begins and people experience its effects, the Second Coming will not feel sudden or unexpected for the people.
The Post-Trib view interprets the phrase "that the day would overtake you like a thief" (1 Thess 5:4) to imply that believers will not “feel” surprised or caught off guard like encountering a thief. According to this view, both unbelievers and believers will go through and “experience” the same events, but “unbelievers” will “feel” the suddenness and surprise of the Lord’s Coming, whereas “believers,” being aware of Jesus' coming, will not “feel” that sense of surprise as if encountering an unexpected thief.
However, I have serious doubts about whether this is what Paul intended to convey in 1 Thess 5. Paul's intention seems to be more than just a matter of “feelings.” Rather, Paul is suggesting that while unbelievers will indeed “experience” the tribulation as a theft, believers will not actually go through that “same experience” of tribulation as a thief in the night. It’s not a matter of “feelings” but actual “experience.”
This is why I adhere to the Pre-tribulation view, as I believe "The Day of the Lord" is synonymous with the entire 7-year tribulation period. The "onset" of the tribulation, its beginning, may come unexpectedly like a thief in the night (1 Thess 5:2), but for believers, "that day" (referring to the 7-year tribulation) will not overtake us as a thief in the night (1 Thess 5:4) because we will be raptured, "caught up" (1 Thess 4:17) just before the tribulation "that day" begins. Just a simple and natural reading of 1 Thess 4-5 will lead any readers to this conclusion.

**Should Christians believe in a Pre-tribulation rapture?**
Jesus taught that we would be raised up (raptured) on the LAST day three times in three verses...
John 6: 39,40, 44 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.
How many more days are there after the LAST day? If the answer is none, then the rapture cannot come before the tribulation.
Paul taught that we would be raised up at the LAST trumpet call...
1 Corinthians 15: 50~52 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep (die), but we (who are still alive) will all be changed- 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. The last trumpet call is the seventh trumpet sounded by the seventh angel at the return of the Messiah (Jesus)...

How many more trumpet calls are there after the LAST trumpet call? If the answer is none, then the rapture cannot come before the tribulation.

Jesus even says in Matthew 24: 25 "See, I have told you ahead of time."
Why even bother if we're not even going to be there (presuming we're still living at the time). Jesus was warning us to be prepared for what is coming.
I believe that the pre-trib doctrine is spiritually dangerous because people will be unprepared for the tribulation that believers WILL experience. It would be nice and fluffy to think that God would spare us tribulation, but since when has God spared his people tribulation when the apostles and even Christ Himself weren't spared tribulation, i.e. they were all martyred.
It would be nice to think that we will escape tribulation, but I believe that the pre-tribulation rapture is a wishful thinking, ear tickler from people who think they are a special case...
2 Timothy 4: 3 For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires.
One of the reasons for the tribulation is to bring the church repentance as part of the 'refiners fire' "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." (Ephesians 5:27)

This is just one example of the timeline God provides for us in His Word, and it would have to be ignored if pre-trib were true. The harvest happens at the end of the age and the ones taken away first are the wicked. (This parallels Noah, the Passover, the plagues, Lot, etc). The 'righteous' were still present when the wicked received judgement but were brought through it on faith. They didn't escape to heaven during judgement, as no human or corruptible flesh can enter heaven, only the incorruptible- a change that doesn't happen until the last day.
God's wrath and Satan's wrath are very different and the Bible clearly describes the Great Tribulation as the time of Satan's wrath. God's wrath comes after the Tribulation as described in Matthew 24. We will not suffer God's wrath but it is dangerous to teach we will escape the coming persecution and trials Scripture tells us to prepare for during Satan's wrath.
He who endures to the end will be saved. There can only be one "end".
God will not beat up His "bride" before the wedding, but the Tribulation is Satan's time, and he will do everything in his power to create a falling away. Even the verse about 'falling away' presupposes there are believers in the Tribulation, because you can't fall away as an unbeliever- you're already fallen.
So much more to address, but please pray about this and read the Scriptures in their entirety. Conflicting views can't both be true because the Bible does not contradict itself, so if you have to ignore things like Jesus repeatedly saying in John 6 that we will be raised imperishable on the last day, or the parable of the weeds above that show the wicked will be removed first, you have to confront what you are allowing yourself to do. I appreciate the work you do, and I would caution that with so many looking to you for guidance, that you make sure the views you present as truth don't require other verses in the Bible to be ignored.
Wow… I’v always been taught Pre-Trib. I was always confused by Matthew 24 because it, to me, always seemed like we would be going thru it. But what is your explanation for the 7 Year marriage supper and Luke 17… they will be buting and selling, eating and drinking, marrying when one is taken and another one left? Where are they taken too? And why taken when we are supposed to come back with Jesus at the end of the age to destroy God’s enemies.
I agree Scripture has always led me to believe we will go through the Tribulation and are meant to endure to the End. I'm not fully sure I understand all of your questions but I'll do my best to answer and if I'm missing something, please let me know.
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 says, "For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
So we that are alive SHALL NOT PRECEDE those who are asleep (dead in Christ, awaiting transformation), the dead shall rise FIRST, THEN we that are living and remain will meet the resurrected in the air with our Lord. There is a clear order established. The resurrection of the dead and following that, we will then join our Savior and those who died in Christ in the air.
Regarding the marriage supper, if you read Revelations 19 it is describing and is even titled Rejoicing in Heaven followed by the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. The latter section begins with "Then". So again we have this situation where we are given an order of events. Following the avenging of blood of His servants and the rejoicing in heaven of His just and true judgements, THEN is the marriage supper. One final judgement, one new heaven, the resurrection of the dead, one marriage supper.
Luke 17 says this, "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot-they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all- so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, let the one who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away, and likewise let the one who is in the field not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it. I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left.” And they said to him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the carcass is, there the vultures will gather.”
Luke 17:26-35, 37
In the days of Noah, who were "taken" away and who was left? The wicked were taken, Noah's family was left. Likewise in the time of Lot, who were taken and who left? The wicked were again the ones taken. The faithful in these stories were kept from or delivered from judgement as it will be in the End, but they were not the ones removed, they were the ones left behind while the wicked were taken. The Parable of the Tares describes this order- the weeds (wicked) first are burned and THEN the harvest (faithful) gathered. This pattern is repeated in Scriptures and I don't believe that is without significance. Noah and Lot of course, but also the Egyptians and Israelites first during the plagues, then at Passover, and again as the Israelites were delivered (left behind) through the Red Sea and the Egyptians were swept away (destroyed/taken). Rahab and her family were delivered (left behind) while her city was judged (destroyed/taken). Etc. The righteous in all of these cases still had to endure through very difficult times, impossible times really, but God in His faithfulness delivered them. Each case when one is taken and one is left, it is the wicked taken, the faithful who are left behind.
Psalm 37:10-11 and 34-38 echo this:
"In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there. But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace...Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off. I have seen a wicked, ruthless man, spreading himself like a green laurel tree. But he passed away, and behold, he was no more; though I sought him, he could not be found. Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace. But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed; the future of the wicked shall be cut off."
Lastly on Luke 17:37 and Matthew 24:28 it closes with Jesus telling His disciples one is taken and one is left, and the disciples want to understand where the taken go. Jesus responds that with ,"Where the carcass is, there the vultures will gather." That doesn't sound like where the righteous will be taken. The bodies left as carcasses, to be eaten by vultures are surely those of the wicked. Both Ezekiel 39:17-19 and Revelation 19:17-18 support that birds will be called upon in the End to feast on the remains of the wicked, not the righteous.

That’s the cronology of events. Those whom God will not permit to go into tribulations will escape through or rested throughout death. There is no multiple raptures where others are left behind and then collected after tribulations.

They weren't taken away to heaven. They escaped judgement yes, but still remained on earth through very difficult circumstances but were delivered from judgement as we will be (either in death or escape). To believe we are raptured first and that there are multiple raptures requires ignoring the chronology Scripture clearly lays out in numerous places. I understand why you believe what you do, and I hope we won't let this separate brothers of the same faith. I believe Scripture doesn't contradict itself, so if one interpretation requires us to ignore several other Scriptures in order to be true, it cannot be accurate.

“The wrath of God” is not the same as “The great tribulation” This was even proved from the passages read in the video itself. The former is from God Himself as a pronunciation of His judgement while the latter is as a result of different handwork of men and the devil acting through and in men.
““If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.” Matthew 24:22
The above passage points clearly to the fact that the “elect” would go through some of the troubles of “those days” and it would be for their sake that those days would be cut short.
I believe those “days” refers to the great tribulation as described in same Matthew 24:21 “For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now-and never to be equaled again.”
The final point is this:
““Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. This final passage above tells us about the rapture and it is specifically stated that it happened “after the distress of those days”

I actually grew up in a church that learning and teaching the book of Revelation was forbidden which has left me confused on all of this so this video was very helpful. The pastors who think that the book of Revelation should not be taught have apparently not read even the first chapter of the book. Pre-trib or no pre-trib if we are all true believers we will be with our Lord during the end. Just gotta have faith in that itself. We WILL be safe & protected no matter what happens. On the other side of the coin, respectful Christian debates help sharpen our sword & I love all of them.
Doesn't God give the beast permission to wage war on the saints and to overcome them? I keep hearing people say, Oh Christians will be safe. Yes some will be alive when Jesus returns but a great deal of people, saved and unsaved will be murdered. Whoever Christians are during the GT, they in particular will be hunted down not those who bow down & worship the beast and accept the mark of the beast. This is not the passover where you'll be locked away in safety. We are told, warned rather, that what is coming has never happened before on the earth. It all seems or sounds familiar of past trials but trust, this will be different. In the end Jesus wins. He won Calvary Cross. To God be the glory.

People are getting confused with troubles and great troubles. Tribulation means trouble. Have you ever been mocked, scoffed at, slandered, hated without a cause, betrayed, rejected? Those are part of our tribulation walk in Christ, those are part of being persecuted. As true Christians we are often rejected by children of this world. If you are blending in with the world, something is wrong.
The tribulation of mankind started in the Garden of Eden, with satan's deception, leading to the fall of mankind. The continued persecutions of the Children of God has been happening throughout history. Look how Cain( the unrighteous one), killed his brother, Abel( the righteous one). This persecution will get greater as times get more wicked. Look what happened to Christians during the peak of the Roman persecutions. They went through Great Tribulations also; being thrown to lions to be ripped alive and eaten, burnt at the stake, beheaded, thrown into fires, etc. The tribulation is not God’s wrath. It is satan's rule, and he hates God/Christ and all who follows God/Christ. As Christians we all have troubles/tribulations in this world.
*There is no secret, private rapture before tribulations.
For some reason, most people prefer another Gospel, and because they reject the truth, they fall into deception. I know people/ pastors personally who believe in pretribulation rapture, so everything that is happening now cannot be of the beast, because they have not been raptured; and you know what? They encourage all they know to take the jabs. They have been deceived by another gospel. Wasn't that what satan did in Eden? He preached another gospel to Eve.
Here is what Christ said about His return:
The Lord returns after the tribulations.

@@twomuchsauce4638 I grew up (and still am in) a dispensational church so I'm pretty familiar about dispensational beliefs including eschatology =) I don't doubt their faith and neither do they doubt mine, but my theological studies have led me to be more convinced of amillennialism and covenant theology than of dispensationalism and pre-trib premilleninialism. This is something I don't like discussing in-depth on the Internet (LOL) and I do believe we can all agree to disagree on these non-essential aspects while still glorifying Jesus and highly anticipating His return!

I taught your view for some 20 years, but after 100s of hours of more study would have to take exception to your explanations. There's not the time nor the space in a Facebook comment to refute all your findings, nor to share my own...it would take a book. Before that time I was a full time pastor and even taught a different view of end times. So though I don't believe that many of your examples meet the demands of context or the harmony of the Scriptures, at the same time, I appreciate your enthusiasm and desire to seek the truth. And I think the bottomline is that we all look forward to His coming regardless of our differences of belief on this issue.

Yeah pre-tribulation is found in 1 Thessalonians 4 ( Day of the Lord Jesus Christ). Chapter 5 deals with the Day of the Lord. Two different things altogether. Just like the rapture and 2nd coming are 2 different events.
In Revelation of Jesus Christ you have heaven opened up twice. 1st time church goes up...then not mentioned in word or symbol from 4-18. Then again heaven opened up church coming down 19.

He has come the past 2 years to speak at a Prophecy conference our church held and Nathan Jones came too (they are about 30 mins away from our church) and gave phenomenal sessions. The reason he is getting the timing of the rapture wrong, is because he is confusing "The Day of The Lord"(a.k.a. Gods Wrath), with the Tribulation. The seven year period consists of 3.5 years of Tribulation which believers will still be on earth, and The Wrath which is poured out on the earth Immediately after the rapture. So Essentially, the Rapture is Post-Trib, but its also Pre-Wrath.
Matthew 24:29-30/Mark 13:26/Luke 21:27, all make it very clear that Jesus will appear in the clouds "after the Tribulation ".

Although He is wrong about the Rapture, All the commentors are right, this is not something that should cause division.
@@deangelo17 while I appreciate your statement at the end regarding this not being something we should divide over, I think you should be very careful about claiming that somebody is wrong about the rapture. You do realize that the majority of biblical scholars today affirm a pre-tribulation rapture, right? But, all of these scholars will admit that they also see some validity for other views and admit that they may not know everything about the subject that they think. So because of that, I think we should all be very careful to dogmatically say that somebody is definitely right or wrong on a topic like this.

This is not a debatable topic, when you have clear statements from Jesus Christ himself in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 saying that he would come after the tribulation. And it’s important to understand who the audience is... in Matthew 24 Jesus is talking to the Jews in the Olivet Discourse. In John 14-17 He is speaking to the Church in the Upper Room Discourse. Once you understand that it makes a lot of sense.
@@jeannettemcg If Jesus was speaking only to the Jews in Matthew 24, then I guess we can discard all of Jesus’ teaching in the book of Matthew as they should all be for the Jews. Why single out Matthew 24? Did you know that of all the 4 gospels Matthew used the word “Church” more that any other. In fact, if I’m not mistaken, the word “Church” is never used in the gospel according to John. So why conclude that Matthew is only written for Jews and even worse only Matthew 24?
Secondly, in Matthew 24, Jesus says that his followers would be “hated of all men” for His name’s sake. Now which Orthodox Jew would be willing to die for the name of Jesus when they still don’t recognise him as Messiah?

We are currently reading/studying through the Book of Revelation verse by verse in our church and we have now reached chapter 13. It has been intense I tell you but it has also been eye/ear/heart opening. This video was helpful since I personally believed that a Pretribulation Rapture made more sense and had more Scripture to support it.

I just watched another video from a woman that believed in a mid or post Tribulation rapture, and none of it sat well with me. Your preaching makes much more sense, especially taking into account God's character and consistency throughout scripture. He consistently removes his followers from the terror that is coming. Noah, Lot, Amos, etc. I love that quote about God not putting His bride through an abusive seven years while she waits for Him. THAT is a loving God.

Revelation 3:10 says, “I will keep you from the time of testing coming upon the whole earth.” Sounds like pre-trib, BUT the word translated "keep" above is the Greek word tereo and it means “to guard by keeping the eye upon.” It does NOT mean to protect by taking us out before the tribulation starts.
I did not find anything in my research showing your interpretation that it does not mean to keep... I am not an expert in Greek by any means.... but the first translation is keep and then the 2nd is to guard , either one can be understood as Jesus keeping us and guarding us in heaven before we return with him.... with ALL the holy ones in Zechariah 14, please send further information to support your contention, I am a seeker and am open to information that helps me tobetter understand, but , up to now, revelation 3 10 still is a solid pre trib verse unless i discover information to prove otherwise.

Also, it is the same word (tereo) in the verse in John 17:15 that says, "“I am not asking you to take them out of the world. But I am asking that you KEEP (tereo) them safe from the Evil One."

No true followers of Christ is left behind. The left behind/pretribulation rapture are deceptions. It is false. Those in Christ, the dead first will rise, then those who are alive and remain will be changed instantly, and will be caught up together in the air to meet Christ, who has returned to bring the Wrath of God, the Father.
All who are as they say, " Left behind," are the unsaved, who are about to endure the Wrath of Almighty God. Grace is over. Wrath has come.
Deception can only be decerned by the Spirit of Truth( the Holy Spirit). Deception sound so true, and so easy, and so comforting. Deception doesn't even sound like lies at all, and that is why it is called deception.

People are getting confused with troubles and great troubles. Tribulation means trouble. Have you ever been mocked, scoffed at, slandered, hated without a cause, betrayed, rejected? Those are part of our tribulation walk in Christ, those are part of being persecuted. As true Christians we are often rejected by children of this world. If you are blending in with the world, something is wrong.
The tribulation of mankind started in the Garden of Eden, with satan's deception, leading to the fall of mankind. The continued persecutions of the Children of God has been happening throughout history. Look how Cain( the unrighteous one), killed his brother, Abel( the righteous one). This persecution will get greater as times get more wicked. Look what happened to Christians during the peak of the Roman persecutions. They went through Great Tribulations also; being thrown to lions to be ripped alive and eaten, burnt at the stake, beheaded, thrown into fires, etc. The tribulation is not God’s wrath. It is satan's rule, and he hates God/Christ and all who follows God/Christ. As Christians we all have troubles/tribulations in this world.

For some reason, most people prefer another Gospel, and because they reject the truth, they fall into deception. I know people/ pastors personally who believe in pretribulation rapture, so everything that is happening now cannot be of the beast, because they have not been raptured; and you know what? They encourage all they know to take the jabs. They have been deceived by another gospel. Wasn't that what satan did in Eden? He preached another gospel to Eve.

I can go on but it appears to state the same anyway. If there was going to be a rapture, it would probably be mid, before the 7 bowls. But i believe God wants us to endure to the end which is the resurrection. If Jesus wants us to be aware of pre-trib rapture- He would have stated it as so in Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21:5.

Overall, we as believers should prepare to fight for the faith and be ready to endure all things, just as our fellow brothers and sisters in the past and present (in other countries around us). Let us not be surprised that these things must happen, but hold onto the hope in His promise explained in His word.

I think there will be believers who will die for their faith during the tribulation period. These are not from the church age. The tribulation will be the time of Jacob’s trouble. Yes, in this life believers do have troubles and some have been martyrs. The great tribulation is an unprecedented time in human history in which God will unleash His wrath on this earth. While we may defer on the timing of the rapture we cannot deny there will be a rapture confer 1Thess: 4:11-18 study the word caught up.

The reason he is getting the timing of the rapture wrong, is because he is confusing "The Day of The Lord"(a.k.a. Gods Wrath), with the Tribulation. The seven year period consists of 3.5 years of Tribulation which believers will still be on earth, and The Wrath which is poured out on the earth Immediately after the rapture. So Essentially, the Rapture is Post-Trib, but its also Pre-Wrath.
Matthew 24:29-30/Mark 13:26/Luke 21:27, all make it very clear that Jesus will appear in the clouds "after the Tribulation ".
(Matthew 24:29-30 KJV) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory
Although He is wrong about the Rapture, All the commentors are right, this is not something that should cause division.

Here are some aspects you might want to consider. Post-trib view understands "The Day of the Lord" to refer exclusively to the “Second Coming” of Christ, which occurs after the 7-year tribulation. On the other hand, Pre-trib view considers "The Day of the Lord" to mean the entire sequence of events of the “7-year tribulation.” I struggle to understand how "The Day of the Lord" is solely connected to the Second Coming of Christ.
Firstly, if you study the concept of "The Day of the Lord" in the Old Testament, you will discover that it is not a 24-hour period or an instantaneous event connected only to the Second Coming of Christ. Instead, the prophets repeatedly describe "The Day of the Lord" as a sequence of events leading up to the coming of the LORD. It is a complex series of judgments and not a singular event.
Secondly, Jesus Himself confirms this understanding in Matthew 24. He divides the first half of the tribulation (Matthew 24:4-14) from the second half (Matthew 24:15-28), with verse 15 serving as a dividing point. Jesus clearly mentions the Seventieth Week of Daniel (Dan 9:27) here in 24:15, which refers to the future Antichrist setting up an abomination of desolation in the temple.
The events described in Matthew 24:4-14 closely resemble the beginning of the Seal judgments in Revelation 6. Jesus uses exactly same Greek words, such as "famines and earthquakes" (24:7), "will kill you" (24:9), which correspond to the Seal judgments' description of "kill by sword, famine, and plague" (Rev 6:8), and "There was a great earthquake" (Rev 6:12).
Furthermore, Jesus describes the second half of the tribulation with the presence of false messiahs and false prophets performing “signs” and wonders to “deceive” people (Matt 24:24). These same Greek words for "signs" and "deceive" appear in Revelation 13 when it describes the actions of the Beast in the second half of the tribulation. The 7-year tribulation begins with the Seal judgments and concludes with the Bowl judgments. Thus, we see Jesus mentioning this entire 7-year tribulation as a sequence of events in Matthew 24.
The fact that Matthew 24:4-28 encompasses the entirety of "the Day (ἡμέρα) of the Lord" is confirmed by Jesus' statement, "But immediately after the tribulation of those days (ἡμέρα)" (24:29), people will witness the coming of the Son of Man: the Second Coming (24:30). The Second Coming occurs "after" the "Day (ἡμέρα) of the Lord," specifically, "immediately after the tribulation of those days (ἡμέρα)." Therefore, it is unreasonable to equate "the Day of the Lord" solely with the singular event of the "Second Coming of Christ."
Jesus Himself even emphasized that when individuals observe "all these things," they should recognize that He is near (24:33). "All these things" refers to the entire sequence of events during the tribulation (the Day of the Lord, 24:4-28). The Second Coming is preceded by specific and clear "signs," similar to how people can anticipate the approach of summer (24:32). However, Jesus changes the topic (peri de) starting in 24:36, stating, "But of that day (ἡμέρα) and hour no one knows." The Day of the Lord, the tribulation, is a "signless" event without visible signs.
The most compelling evidence supporting the understanding that the Day of the Lord encompasses the entirety of the 7-year tribulation comes from Paul's words in 1 Thessalonians 5. Paul describes the day (ἡμέρα) of the Lord as coming upon unbelievers suddenly, "like labor pains (ὠδίν) on a pregnant woman," and they will not escape (5:3). It is noteworthy that the "onset" of the Day of the Lord is the same as what Jesus referred to as the "onset" of the tribulation in Matthew 24: "All these are the beginning of birth pains (ὠδίν)" (24:8). Both Paul and Jesus affirm that the Day of the Lord is not a singular event but a sequence of events (7 years) leading up to the Second Coming. Both Jesus and Paul affirm that the "onset" of the Day of the Lord signifies only the beginning of birth pains.
Unbelievers cannot "escape" the Day when it begins and the sequence of events unfolds. Paul further states, "But you (second person: believers), brethren, are not in darkness, that the day (ἡμέρα) would overtake you like a thief" (5:4). The onset of "that day" cannot seize believers violently because Paul explained in the preceding context that they will be "caught up" to be with the Lord (4:17).
Furthermore, if we equate the Day with Christ's Second Coming, it becomes difficult to comprehend how unbelievers can say "peace and safety" (5:3) and live their lives normally just before the Second Coming of Christ, given that they are currently experiencing the terrible wrath of God during that time.
Lastly, look at 2 Thessalonians 2. Some of the Thessalonians were disturbed by a report claiming that the day of the Lord had arrived (2:2). If, in this context, the day of the Lord is synonymous with the second coming, then it would be impossible for them to be shaken in mind. Instead of being troubled, they should have rejoiced that the Day of the Lord had come! If the Christians had mistakenly believed, based on Paul's previous teaching, that they were currently going through the tribulation and held a post-tribulationist view, they would have likely been rejoicing rather than troubled by the idea of sudden deliverance.
When we consider the overall context of 1-2 Thessalonians, the only logical explanation is as follows: The Thessalonians had been previously taught that the rapture would occur before the day of the Lord. The lie they heard just before Paul wrote his second letter to them suggested that the day of the Lord had come, and being informed of the day of the Lord's arrival necessarily implied that they had missed the rapture. This would undoubtedly be disconcerting, and it would have shaken the Thessalonians from their composure.
The pre-tribulational rapture is not lacking in biblical support and evidence. In fact, there is ample evidence to support it. I humbly believe that viewing 1 Thessalonians 4-5 in its entirety, the pre-tribulation position appears to be the most natural reading. Hopefully, this helps.
How about " the day of the WRATH of the Lamb has come and who is able to stand?" from Revelation ch 6 ? This combines the WRATH that Paul says we are "not appointed unto" in Thessalonians with the OT idea of the "Day of the Lord".
