One of the best clones not for his dead heart loyalty, but because of his moral compass that made him see things differently than the rest of his brothers did
He was also one of the few who had a commander who encouraged such a thing

@@LoneWolf20213 Sort of sad, really. Rex is a great character, but he got real lucky. Another general would have either wasted his potential or would have just not wanted to deal with him
Besides the Mandalorians, Rex is one the few people that makes duel wielding blaster pistols a badass thing to do.
That’s why the mandalorians gave him jaig eyes. Truly a cut above the rest
i usually roll my eyes when someone does it in a film or a game usually looks lame. unless its rex or an arc trooper. then yes it looks badass.

The fact that unlike other clones during order 66 Rex hesitated before firing on Asoka I think that proves that even with the bio chip Rex was technically defective but that’s what makes him unique the more honorable version of jango Fett.
I think he just got lucky enough to actually know what was happening. None of the other clones knew about both the chips and Sidious.
Carly Crays Plus Rex was one of the only if not the only clone who was let in on Order 66.

The thing is he knew about the chip due to fives. He also knew Ashoka was innocent. Well he didn't know but he believed it to an extent. Order 66 was supposed to be a mass order , well the clones didn't know it was supposed To. Order 66 meant that the Jedi incharge of those clones had betryed the Republic. And during the clone wars, a lot of jedi did, like pom krell, so the clones were not as loyal to jedi anymore due to well a lot of jedi defecting.so when order 66 was issued, they belived that their jedi had also betryed the Republic like pom krell, they didn't know everyone was given order 66 together at the same time
He didn't have a bio chip he was hesitant because then he isn't following orders he has to choose sides
I love how "The Clone Wars" humanized the clones. Before that, in Episodes II and III along with the original "Clone Wars" cartoon, they were shown as just copied soldiers who follow orders and question nothing. In the new show, the clones were shown as independent individuals who had their own unique personalities despite having the same DNA. Rex became a standout due to his combat skills, intelligence, and loyalty to his brothers and friends, even showing strong willpower when temporarily withstanding to kill Ahsoka when Palpatine issued Order 66. It's that individuality that made Order 66 more tragic, not just for the Jedi that were almost wiped out, but also for the clones that unknowingly helped the Sith Lord rise to power due to their control chips.

Not only did he save him ,but walked behind enemy lines and cut through several droids expertly, before acting all clumsy once Rex realized who he was. And then shot droids along side the Captain without any weapons training? Seems suspicious...

J-gials are my favorite part about rex alongside everything else that makes him a perfect arc trooper. Rex is by far my favorite clone and I could watch his backstory over and over again. That's how cool he is.

Always thought it a bit odd that Rex was only a Captain leading the 501st Bn under Anakin, while Cody was a full Commander leading the 212th under Obi-Wan Kenobi. I know Rex was promoted later to full Commander, but he should have been that rank from the beginning. I guess they figured that since Anakin had Ahsoka and she was a Commander, they didn't need two Commanders for the unit, but still both Cody and Rex are Clones so it makes sense to have a Clone with that rank giving orders to the other Clones.
