Vvt on a single cam is basically moving the intake centerline either direction. Advancing it pumps up the the bottom end torque and makes it more responsive, retarding it helps it rev out and moves the powerband up. Best of both worlds
Great stuff. Keep em coming lads👍 hace you thought of doing a toolbox tour? Ive been watching quite a few recently and theres not many harley tech toolbox tours out there
Can I put a rinehart slimline duals from headers back with 4.5 muffler with dbx baffles along with Harley tuner on my 2022 street glide st and also put in a camshaft to get 2500 to 4500 or so rpm increase in performance without any other upgrades ie oil sump pump, lifters etc? Great info on your site but a bit confusing with so many choices….
After hearing you talk about the post cat O2 sensor, I went and looked at my 121 VVT exhaust. Mine doesn't have that. I wonder if you have a California CARB bike?
Do you think HD will go to a 121CI motor on 2025 LowRiders? Not the whole water cooled / VVT set up but maybe just the current motor with the 4-5/8” stroke. Seems like they are due for a displacement bump.
Great video guys .. question what the use of the SE tuner that only has a base map for a breather and mufflers for 500 US dollars . Harley should just sell a flash at the dealership instead of having us purchase that useless tuner .
Just finished my 132 in my ST with CR 515 Trashin exhaust ,55 MM S&S and 55 inductors . The dyno shows real lean on rear cylinder . What is your tips on tuning that 515 .
Listening to both you gentleman is a pleasure. I appreciate the collaboration.
Thanks for watching
Another great informative chat thanks for the insight and effort

Thanks Tommy!!! Thanks Matt!!! I look forward to these and I appreciate all the free info and advice.
I've been following Matt on Facebook for years now. He is one of the best tech's in America.

Exactly. It's a pretty basic system but it works.
Very good stuff. Keep up the good work
Much appreciated!

Are you talking about a video that shows & explains what tools we use as professional Harley techs?
Our license in USA is 14 as for Bama and up to a certain year not sure what year it was but you automatically got it when u got your permit at 15
Will the post-cat or downstream O2 sensor prevent removing the cat? If the Cat is removed, wouldn’t it have a cat efficiency code?

How long before we get a cam upgrade for the 121 vvt?
I've got no idea. I'd love to think it will be before the end of this year though (2024)

Are you in Australia? The post cat 02 sensor is in the crossover pipe

I've got no idea mate. I would imagine something like that will be on the cards in the near future.

Will there be a stage 2 cam kit for the 121 vvt?
@@warringtoncvo You can bet on it!

Mash air cleaner and S&S cyl and pistons
Have you got a picture of the dyno graph? Email it to me at workshop@ddhd.com.au

I sent it to you , did you get it ?
Sounds like a 468 cam is stock on that bike.
Its likely a se 517 cam. due to epa it is probably close to aftermarket 468 cam
how do you disable the speed limiter?
Unplug the rear wheel ABS sensor. You will have no speedo on the dash when you do it & your ABS will NOT work.
What is the 02 censor post install for the kromeworks 2:1
Where is that abs censor to disconnect?
whats the best combo for the 121?
@@bradhartner under the right side cover. Follow the wire from the sensor to the connector
Lock out the VVT? @TheDynoGuy clearly doesn't understand how engines work or the value of valve timing in general.
