I just came here while taking a short break from my Discworld audiobook marathon, and this comment is the first thing I see. Sometimes, the laws of narrative seep through the multiverse into the Globeworld ... ^^
I saw Rhys Nicholson on the streets of Edinburgh in the rain once. He was far away, but easy to spot with his bright red hair and almost luminescent pale skin. Sadly, missed the opportunity to see him perform, very funny guy!
"Killing folks is easy. Being politically correct is a pain in the ass" ("Achmed The Dead Terrorist" from Jeff Dunham's "Very Special Christmas Special")
I'm reminded of a story of a mugging that happened in Germany where the muggers used the formal tense the whole time. "Sir, this is a mugging, so if you would be so kind please give me your wallet & phone."
It makes me happy his first thought when he thinks he’s into bondage isn’t ‘ew that’s weird and gross’ it’s ‘oh no it’s gonna be expensive’ because honestly that’s a valid reaction (altho depends where you get your stuff for the price range).
Gurl it's either like 400 bucks for a bracer or it's like 2 dollars from wish and it breaks and releases uranium into your house and kills your mother I'm yet to see inexpensive gear that wont cause you serious bodily harm
Well it’s more the materials. Taking your example, a well-made arm restraint with high quality leather and nickel-free metal will be in the hundreds of dollars. But it’s also something that with good care will last 10 or 20 years and so it’s an investment that pays off. If you compare to wish products, an arm restraint will be like 20 bucks but it’ll be made from PU leather and cheap metal, which will break a lot easier, after a couple of uses, but 20 bucks isn’t a huge deal in the long run and it can be good to try out a piece of equipment before you make an investment in an expensive one to make sure it’s worth investing in terms of both price and if it will actually be used much. Also a lot of things can be substituted, for example instead of having an expensive and good quality leather arm restraint, you could do a rope tie which could work just as well (as long as it’s safe). Rope is fairly inexpensive (the rope on Twisted Monk’s website starts from as little as $2.99 with their cotton rope and they have very good reviews) and can achieve similar effects.
@@brasstail oh yeah if you forego actual gear and go for rope and what not it's not nearly as expensive (tho the rope is often marked up a decent amount) I'm just saying proper kink gear is expensive as hell
Pretty sure he just has anti glare coating and a (relatively) light prescription. You can tell those are prescription by looking through them at an oblique angle, you can see the distortion of his eye and cheekbone through the lens.
It gives me hope for humanity that people across the world were not fooled by her 'writer on holiday' persona and are fully aware that she killed all those people.
Honestly.... he put it into words. I’ve had an anxiety disorder FOREVER, and I’ve always had snap concerns that just happen over and over (not in a row, just the same concern keeps popping up). Though, his concerns was a LOT less scary than mine.
Lol, I had two attempted muggins on me and my wife whilst on holiday in Barcelona, lol, it was hilarious and added to fun and seediness of the ancient story rich area of the Bari-Gothic. I'd been several times before and Ive been since. I still rate the area and Barcelona as a city.
I mugging really like that in Australia?? I do live here, but never got mugged... so... haha... what a very polite mugger... "hey, I wanna steal your stuff but I don't wanna hurt your feelings... so... yeah :)"
With his behaviour it would be more of s surprise if he confessed to having a female fiancée. I can imagine a comedy sketch where a camp guy comes out as straight.
Let's be honest, this guy is more endearing than funny. And it's not the jokes, it's the delivery. Feels like he's trying to impress his fiancee's best friend to make his fiancee jealous.
WHRobert editing. They’re editing together snippets, so when you abruptly cut off a laugh for cohesion, it sounds unnatural. Because it relies so heavily on timing, comedy is really hard to edit.
When I heard proper mugging I wasn't thinking of that. I pictured the poor guy getting kicked. Instead proper mugged just meant you gave the guy the wallet and he told you he was pro-marriage.
Everyone can see my internet history it goes like this Anime Top 10 adventure anime Cute anime tropes Cute animals How to sound Scottish Are Leo's and aquarius compatible The color blue Disneybound

“Just wanted you to know this was random”
This was awesome 🤣
😂 I died
my sisters a lesbian..
That mugging story was HYSTERICAL 😂🙌🏻
He was robbed in canada apparently... In an latter interview he says the guy was arrested later....
For misgendering a victim.
lol!
Really? You must be easily amused.
That mugging story is like something straight out of Discworld

" A real estate agent would have described me as vibrant and up-and-coming" -- that bit got me

Sam R wow if he's luminescent I'm transparent! 😂 he's tan compared to me 😅
So
In SCOTLAND
Dead pale skin and red hair
Made him... Stand out??
Dude, that could have been literally anyone from Scotland, shockingly, they have an abundance of pale gingers 😂😂
A PC mugger I'm dying 😂😂😂😂
"Killing folks is easy. Being politically correct is a pain in the ass" ("Achmed The Dead Terrorist" from Jeff Dunham's "Very Special Christmas Special")
He looks like a flamboyant ginger Adam West.
Perfectly stated!!!
I'm reminded of a story of a mugging that happened in Germany where the muggers used the formal tense the whole time. "Sir, this is a mugging, so if you would be so kind please give me your wallet & phone."
If I got robbed like that, I wouldn’t even be upset. This dude probably got more money telling this story, than the amount stolen.😂
They just wanted a 5-er. Which was also kinda silly.
One time I was mugged by my friends grandma but she gave my wallet back the next day when I came over to his house
Turns out she was off her meds
He looks like Conan O'Brien if he was a millennial.
Brill!

"Lifeline number embroidered on the towels" did not get nearly enough love
Oh my god, he would make such an amazing Riddler
Is it me or are there no lenses in his glasses?
I was just wondering too. Maybe these glasses are hyper clean or it's a way of fighting shyness...
1969Kismet nah he's just tryna he a hipster
Yeah they don’t have lenses, from memory he just prefers the way his face looks with glasses on
My boyfriend's son wears frames, they're a comfort to him (he's got ASD) maybe this is similar? He said he's got an anxiety disorder
Pretty sure he just has anti glare coating and a (relatively) light prescription. You can tell those are prescription by looking through them at an oblique angle, you can see the distortion of his eye and cheekbone through the lens.
Sir, as an actual pervert, I'm deeply offended.
Get away! shoo..
And you like it. :P
I mean hes not wrong bondage gear is EXPENSIVE
I actually assumed he was from new zealand, because apparently new zealanders sound like gay australians.
im australian and i can confirm new zealanders are gay australians
I'm a New Zealander and I can promise you that we are not gay Australians.
I am a tasmanian and i can confirm that new zealand is ausstralia
@@soupwithchipschips no.
I'm a New Zealander and can confirm I'm a gay Australian
He should guest judge on the UK & US versions of RPDR. He's doing a great job on the Down Under spinoff.
‘I WAS SPACIOUS’??!!! LmaOooo
I like that guy's suit I'd wear that to prom
"she also definitely did all the murders" I love it
It gives me hope for humanity that people across the world were not fooled by her 'writer on holiday' persona and are fully aware that she killed all those people.
Oh my god he’s adorable
I love our PC world. That's how muggings should have been all along... sort of like in Barry Lyndon
I love him! I love the ending.
Was he robbed in canada?
Who knows, but...Canadians had Gay Marriage since 2013.
@@katiearbuckle9017 since 2005 actually
Nah, Australia
I LOVE RHYS NICHOLSON
childish sadbino
Your name gives me life
I see you stanning loona
Did I just find my new favorite comedian
This is going to be EXPENSIVE! Hahaha
You can find allies under the strangest of circumstances! XD
Honestly.... he put it into words. I’ve had an anxiety disorder FOREVER, and I’ve always had snap concerns that just happen over and over (not in a row, just the same concern keeps popping up). Though, his concerns was a LOT less scary than mine.
Fell in love with rhys ever since I first saw him on tv. now I watch his show everytime he comes to my city
Omg, this guy is hysterical!
I have questioned whether or not I’m a pervert. I’m asexual.
I absolutely love that ending
I've met him. He's so lovely
*Hmmm did I hear somebody say wanted to hear my dad's Google history?*
*_DAD’S GOOGLE HISTORY, ITS BLOODY DAD’S GOOGLE HISTORY!_*
Anyone else here after hearing this dude is a judge on Drag Race Down Under?
Before I remembered it was the BBC (It was on full screen so I forgot) I was like "It's gotta be in Britain, it's too polite"
The beginning and middle were a little meh, but the ending was definitely worth it.
The type of mugger that will let you money for the ride
Talented lad
He is fabulous.
Loved this!
Ha ha, love from Australia :)
No hate crimes in Australia ;)
The prop glasses were great.
I love him
Fantastic.
I called Murder She Wrote " The Angel Of Death show"

I mugging really like that in Australia?? I do live here, but never got mugged... so... haha... what a very polite mugger...

that outfit is fabulous-
With his behaviour it would be more of s surprise if he confessed to having a female fiancée. I can imagine a comedy sketch where a camp guy comes out as straight.
John Mulaney has done that I think? Or something like that
Chriscom28 Russell Kane does it pretty often.
he did get married to a woman once
He’s golden😂😂😂
Let's be honest, this guy is more endearing than funny. And it's not the jokes, it's the delivery.
Feels like he's trying to impress his fiancee's best friend to make his fiancee jealous.
I don't think I've ever met someone trying to impress their fiancee's best friend to make their fiancee jealous. That's a pretty specific ask.

@@jordansullivan5764 Yh right how tf does that even work?

Omg that’s a mood random stuff will just turn me on😂
I've known I was a pervert since I was like 9, I subconsciously knew it then confirmed it at 10.
Go on
“Ugh! This is gonna be so expensive!” 😂
She builds the sets. True story
J.Marie Thompson she?
Teon Levine
It was a reference to a joke at the 1 min mark...
why does the laughter sound like a laugh track?
WHRobert editing. They’re editing together snippets, so when you abruptly cut off a laugh for cohesion, it sounds unnatural. Because it relies so heavily on timing, comedy is really hard to edit.
Because hardly anyone was actually laughing, you can see when it cuts to the crowd
Because he wasn't funny?
3:46 - front row the three people on the right: 'We are not amused.'
No GLASS in the GLASSES
Spit of young Julian Rhind-Tutt
