This is going to be a fantastic espionage thriller, I can really feel it. It will have it's own story, but will also connect to the events that will follow in Thunderbolts.
Bucky wasn't a sleeper agent because of the SS serum. He was being held captive by Hydra at the time. They conditioned him to be an assassin when triggered. If the serum is made right and the person taking it is inherently good, then it should work.
People are overlooking that The Leader has psychic powers and he most likely conditioned Isaiah to make an attempt on Ross (who is responsible for taking Sterns away when he was hunting Hulk, and got him exposed to Gamma in the first place).

This is a part 1 of 2 as this connects heavily to T-Bolts. I’m hoping that we see Red Hulk vs Sentry in that. I wonder what storylines carry over to Armor Wars as well.
I would like to see Sam and Yelena have a relationship similar to Steve and Nat’s in Thunderbolts

Jennifer Connelly was Betty Ross in Eric Bana’s Hulk from 03 and Liv Tyler was in the 08 version with Ed Norton, I’m excited for Liv’s return!
Yup, and Mark is that same Bruce/Hulk Edward Norton played, like Don replaced Terrance as James Rhodes/War Machine. It's not a problem that we may not automatically buy Mark and Liv as a pair; heck, who would have seen Mark and Scarlett Johansen paired prior to just seeing it was a thing in Avengers: AoU?
Not that I think we'd get Mark Ruffalo in this, so any mention of once being with Bruce by Betty doesn't need the visual chemistry to sell it.

Since the Leader is probably behind everything in this movie, the final fight will probably be Hulk vs Hulk and Cap vs Leader.

Listen I’m excited and I’ll be first in line. But remember when Secret Invasion also looked like it was “winter soldier esc”? I want original storytelling and well rounded characters. Captain America is one of my favourites and I love Sam as Cap but I need the heart and soul to be there.
Secret Invasion was also reported to have 60 minute episodes, and that didn't turn out to be the case, meaning the show didn't really hide that it had a lot of production issues or studio interference.
Regardless, I might be one of the only people who actually somewhat enjoys Secret Invasion despite the poor management of the show behind the scenes.
@@DarthTingleBinksThe real life invasion of Ukraine by Russia happening at the same time as production on that show changed some of the plot on the show and unfortunately wasn’t able to really pull it together. I still enjoyed it but you can tell that there were pieces missing.
Secret invasion wasn’t even that bad until the last 2 episodes revealed there was no actual good plot coming lol. But before that it had some good acting and dialogue
@@rantalmore I think it's mainly that Gravik's motivations go entirely unexplained throughout the show, and that not once so we ever see Fury explain why he and Carol stopped searching for another Skrull homeworld, or why they couldn't find one, or why he continued to lie about it for 30 years.
And there was also that subplot regarding that massive basement with hundreds of humans that were kidnapped and that teased a much larger invasion outside of Gravik's little band of rebels. Man, I hate studio interference and just deleting scenes from a show.

Giancarlo Esposito could be shown to mislead, but could actually end up being Doom (been rumored he could play him) and in this movie he’s trying to get adamantium before others
I can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years since the last captain America movie
Chances are:
1. Samuel Sterns/The Leader is using psychic influence to make Isaiah attack Ross - Suoersoldiers are not automatically conditioned in the Winter Soldier protocols
2. Ross is responsible for detaining Sterns after his hunting for Hulk led to Sterns being mutated into The Leader, so he has also probably been used to study the effects and inprove the formula that created Abomination
3. Ross either takes the formula to protect himself from further superpowered threats or is turned by Leader and controlled, or some variation of being turned against his will.

It would be interesting if part of the Leaders plan is to make Sam go back on his convictions and take the serum. Like he arranges for red hulk to show up and if sam supes up than bingo, and if he doesnt, the leader has a hulk under his control. Like how the joker wanted to break batman in dark knight

In the comics there is a run where Sam is injured and then gets a blood transfusion from Steve Rogers and get so per soldier like strength and abilities but not as strong as Steve but slightly less super.

I like that Tiamut makes all the countries join into some kind of alliance, you can see the hand on that flag..probably an off shoot of the coalition that was on Falcon Winter soldier. Until they discover this metal that is insanely strong
I don't think it's too much to ask for a Banner, Bucky, and/or Namor cameo. IMO it makes sense, new Hulk vs. Banner, Sam & Bucky buddy cops, and Namor, ocean territory and new arms race "gold rush"
But we've seen the Super Soldier Serum reproduced, i bet Ross wants the Hulk formula simply because it's stronger.

Ok dammit, this is like the 5th video I've seen now and no one is asking why tf Isaiah Bradley looks so much younger than he did in FatWS. What the hell people? He's VERY clearly younger looking. He's clean shaven and that makes him look a little different of course. But there's not a gray hair in his head and his face is virtually wrinkle free. That is NOT how he looked in the show, so wtf people?? Why is he younger looking?

What if Esposito is playing Mr.griffon and the originally had all those lines for Jonathan majors but they had to reshoot with Esposito. It would still be “adding him” but it wouldn’t have to restructure the movie

16:00 If Giancarlo Esposito is bushman, I remember rumours way back that moon knight and Layla would be cameoing in the film which could make sense and his series being Moon Knight season 2.
Also Thuderbolts might be renamed as a part two because of not having enough time.
I’ve speculated since I first saw Giancarlo Esposito being teased with the MCU that he will be The Punisher. Every single detail and leak revealed about him has made me more convinced of this theory. I know that John Berenthal has been all but confirmed to reprise his role as Punisher end daredevil born again, but I feel that it could be a situation similar to the Riddler in 2022’ The Batman movie where Berenthal’s Punisher has inspired Giancarlo Esposito‘s Punisher to take his own twisted form of Justice, but as a villain rather than a vigilante.

Look, it is out there, but if this movie is going to set the tone for the MCU going forward like Anthony Mackey is saying it will, then I’m swinging for the fences because I’m sick and tired of having amazing actors like Christopher Eccelson and Walter Goggins being cast as rando C-tier villains like Malakieth and Sonny Burch. Giancarlo Esposito deserves better than to play someone like G W Bridge.
Maybe a plant can or will grow on the adamantium like it did with the heart shaped herb in black panther and then they just refine it in a serum or something.

What if they kidnap Isaiah Bradley’s grandson and that’s the reason he attacks Ross. Then Rhodey saves him and that’s the reason he wants or becomes Patriot.
Hopefully they reference weapon X in this or have a post credit scene about weapon X

What if Esposito is hired by Sharon Carter to get the serum formula from Master mind. the master mind hits the switch before dying. Turns the president into red hulk start of the fight with new Captain America. Movie ends.
We already got Betty Ross and Ruffalo in What If season 1 and it looked organic if I'm being honest
Hopefully we get Betty Ross turning into Red She Hulk.
Eh, hopefully they pace themselves and save that for later. People keep wondering if we'd ever get World War Hulk, and I think it would be a good adaptation (given they can't do a direct live action Hulk film) if they play out that story as a B or C plot of Secret Wars.
Would make sense the Hulks are surviving that harsh amalgamated Battleworld together with Ross turning Betty, before shenanigans get Skaar killed and set Professor Hulk on his World Breaker Hulk bender.

Liv Tyler as the VP who becomes president after Her dad dies would be so awesome. A father/daughter, family-focused presidential campaign would be enticing in a time of division created by the sitting president.
Will we finally get a close to the loose end from The Eternals and have them exploring vibraniums origin from the dead celestial in the ocean?

Super soldier serum doesn't make you a sleeper agent.
Bucky had to be brainwashed by Hydra. U.S.Agent wasn't fit for the role, and later shown signs of PTSD due to his best friend getting killed, but never became a sleeper agent. None of the other terror group members, became a sleeper agent.
Even Emil Blonsky (in the short time between the injection and becoming the abomination, let alone after), did not become a sleeper agent. It's not a thing.
Becoming a Hulk, leads to excessive rage, and thus destruction. Why would Ross want it? because a Hulk can easily beat a super soldier. And if the Russkeis had a super soldier in the 80's, than he wants a Hulk, for military superiority.
I hope Evan is at the end of the movie
I thought about Patriot when I watched. What a great way to bring him in. Especially if they want to tackle his super soldier storyline. It feels pretty natural given what we're seeing.

What if IsaiahBradley is a skrull
What if Betty Ross is collateral damage during the attempted assassination and that’s the funeral scene. And it causes Red Hulk to get angry about it and Captain America eventually reveals it was the leader all along
Betty is also in that funeral in BTS shots. Makes me think Ross fakes his death after getting the serum.
