I watched a video today of a interview of a man that had been a top agent of the KGB living, spying, and doing espianoge here in the states. His English was perfect for a Yankee and he eventually became a double agent for Russia and the USA. Eventually he quit the spy trade, forsook and denounced Russia then went completely through the entire process to become an American citizen. He warned and assured that teams of Russian, Chinese, N. Korean, and Iranian operatives are already here thanks to the debacle on or southern border. He also said that more operative teams come into the USA every month due to our nearly nonexistence of our Southern border.
The U.S. cannot be everyone refuge and police. We need to heavily restrict who comes in. It's not like most of these people are highly skilled workers with jobs waiting for them

Wow, imagine a place so bad that you would rather go to another country and live under a tarp charging phones. Give Ed some serious props for helping with this stuff, too.
Thank you. And that's the truth. Whether you are left or right, we all want safe borders. We need fair immigration. People are desperately fleeing, just to work, feed or educate their kids, via horrendous conditions and 8-10k (that's over 10 years salary in their country, equivalent of 500k here) to cartels for transport. I don't think people realize that there is no legal way, aside from the rare asylum or marriage, unless you are from a European country, where you aren't so desperate. Herein lies the issue. Many coming here can't read, write, never had a phone, didn't have indoor plumbing, hot water. Subsistence economies. We need to figure something out quickly. Because when they are that desperate to risk death to come here, they will come regardless. Better to change the system, have them accounted for. Root out the cartel $, and then better able to focus those coming across illegally under a new system as likely drug/crime related. Sadly many of the "gangs" near here, where I live, are kids that came with parents, and got into the gangs via american h.s. and communities. The ostracizing compounds the issue, doesnt solve it.
@@gameslikeagirl1232 We can't do anything until we get the border closed. The influx is horrible. We don't have enough agents to vet these people. There are tons of people. Over 180+ countries. We are headed into a war. Food shortages are here for US in the US too. This is not the time to do this. I have sympathy for people. But how many people do you think we can actually support? They don't come here able to work. They need places to live, food support etc...And WE pay for it! Perhaps these counries need to fix their systems. Kamala talks about fixing the reason they are coming here. But are doing jotting except throwing money at the problem. Not shutting it down and helping them work on their issues.
@@barbaravance6774 The housing and apartment shortages right now has also become very bad and as a US citizen whose sick and disabled, I was recently not only treated very badly and discriminated against, but refused the application, acceptance of my paperwork and the MO for application fee by the Mexican leasing agent who rented the available apartment to another Mexican and his teenage son.
As a person who went through the legal process and know how hard it is, iam from tijuana . I think yes we have to work on our border, most of the bad guys or things happend in the places not visible, but at the same time i think the legal process needs work too. Like i said i came in legally , got my studies done and now iam a operations manager at amazon. I know most people who want to do it legally want just to work and be a good citizen. Like i said the people who want wrong will not do it legally they cross the illegal way, so we do need a strong border , but also a better way to get the people who want in legally .
I am an anchor baby born in 92 - I agree- I see the prospective from both sides of the spectrum and it’s honestly exhausting to see each side fighting for what everyone thinks is right- there is a problem legally and illegally in this process legally it’s extremely hard to get into the USA- your application can be denied based on your living conditions or if they (immigration service) predicts that you may not contribute properly to the American society based on your income or even just getting a parking ticket. You may think it’s extreme but if you get passed the lengthy background check the time process and money is a killer as well. As a Mexican American born watching my mother wait 13 years to get a green card ( with lawyers and promptly doing everything diligently) it makes me appreciate what I have as a birth right we as Americans take for granted our freedom.
I agree we do. That being said, don't we also have a percentage that wouldn't be on film that are VERY dangerous people. Maybe not at that camp, but crosses with a group... just curious really. I have worked with plenty great people from all over world. That video was only one couple out of Tons that came through.
@@Hunter-bn6sm Exactly! I have friends in Border Patrol. They are assault daily. There are a lot of people with mental and drug issues. I know a real reporter who is out there with a nurse with them. Andxthey have video of tons of kids, drugged outta their mind. The " parents" couldn't even tell the nurse how old these kids are. So, obviously not theirs. My family lived on the border in a city for as far back as I can remember. They had to leave for their children's safety. So their city lost their Assostant Fire Chief. The cartels are now in the US and there are car chases through many cities on a daily basis. Risking the public. But, they've caught known terrorists. And people feom over 180+ countries. Tons of Hatoans with Aids because of what's going on there. This is a horrible crisis Biden has compounded drastically!

Seeing the desperation in this episode motivates me to work harder for my family and help my wife's family to thrive legally.
Excellent expose brother, this is the kind of objective and gritty journalism that needs to be pursued in large. Mexico is still just as colorful yet wild as I remember it, plenty of wonderful people there and a vibrant culture (as with all of Central and South America), just a shame that the Cartels and Governments are making any semblance of a quality of life impossible for them. Ed's mustache is on point too hahaha, glad he's doing well for himself all things considered.
Doing amazing work here Shawn, I’m Mexican and I’m all for the wall and strong border protection but I’m also for making it easier for law abiding immigrants to come into this country because I’ve seen it first hand every time I visit Mexico how tough it is out there for them to survive.
I appreciate the honesty and you admitting that it wasn't what you expected. I lived in Laredo for 5 years and I still live in South Texas and so very many migrants just want work and a safe place to live. The current immigration system is slow and expensive and very difficult. I believe allowing a work permit without automatic citizenship for any children born in the US could be very helpful at removing vulnerable people from dangerous situations and getting value added people into our country.
I've was raised by parents who were hard workers and who taught us that nobody owes is anything and to always work hard to take care of our own selves which was exactly what I did, sometimes even worked two jobs and never lived off no system. Right now I'm not only very sick, but disabled with one wrong move from becoming paralyzed and the rental gouging has not only made it so extremely difficult to find affordable housing, but I've already been discriminated against four times in a row by the ones that are and for the first time in my entire life I'm just 1.5 months from becoming homeless and having to live under a tarp myself while nobody gives crap.
Damn, this makes me realize how lucky I am as an American citizen who was born and raised here. I could do anything in this land of opportunity, yet I'm doing nothing. Talk about motivational.
Also, thank you for reporting on this, and making sure the people who spoke to you, were taken care of …..a little financially, but for their safety as well.
Thanks for all you do. We can't everybody who lives in a crappy country. Close the borders and accept people according to merit and how they will contribute to our country.

Every episode of this show has evoked deep thoughts and emotions. The life experience of the people on this show and the heart and courage of the guests gives me a hope for the future of our Republic.
Shawn thank you for the reality check, for the hard work and the sincere opinion. Yes lots of bad guys over the border and at the border but as you said some Americans have become extremely lazy and entitled. Freedom isn’t free, we both know the true meaning of it since we both are combat veterans, both deployed to Iraq in the early 2000s, both been shot at, blown up and worked with spec ops, yet some of our fellow Americans are riding that freedom to the wrong end of the spectrum. One dollar to charge a phone is not about the cost, but the character and willingness to work towards a better future. GOD BLESS AMERICA 🇺🇸

Been watching you for a while Shawn and I have to say i am astonished by how far you've come with youtube in the past couple years. This type of content and quality is absolutely unmatched.
This stuff is gold brother. Thanks for the hard work and I appreciate the ppl speaking about their experience
I have been working this border in AZ for over 30 years...Well done Shawn, well done!!!
Thank you
I like what the likes of UA-cam have been able to produce in terms of content. That noted, this is my favorite show of all time. Always excited to see it and always locked in when it's on.
Thanks for putting this out there. I've been near there a few times but never inside like that. Good job stoked you pulled it off.
Thank you Ed and Sean for shedding light on the border situation. I grew living next the Tijuana border and I spent weekends there as kids, I can tell Tijuana is not what it use to be the 90s,BE CAREFUL and take care!
Thank you for everything , and being LEGIT with us !👊🏼🇺🇸🎸
Ed Calderon is a legend, he’s been on the front lines for a very long time and is just a wealth of knowledge! Thank you for bringing this to us sir.
Great job showing the real side of things. And your opinion at the end is a 100% spot on.
Thanks to the whole crew for bringing detailed information about a tragic situation. I don't understand how anyone could save $5k in a place where the annual income is $2.5k.
They get a loan from cartels and pay it back from the american side. If not. They will be killed. If they were killed and undocumented who can protect them then?
Well the problem is they think it coming to America making minimum wage will get them a place they are better of where they came
Well the last they have their lands from there parents or get it borrowed from someone in the US a lot of people bring their family they be like look I got u on da 5000 just pay me when u get back dats how it happens man no brainer what don’t u understand it’s common sense dummy 🤣🤣🤣 , when I was out there the cartel recruiters for people would be like get us 3 paying illegals and u can come free to the USA shiid dats a deal 🤷🏽♂️
@@taztazblackwell3927 they don’t think so!it is ! It is way better to make minimum wage here than making 100$ a week over there I cmon guy I mean wat would u do , if u make 25/$ right now in USA 🇺🇸 and they said they paying 50$ in Canada with better home bigger home and benzo guess what you gonna migrate to Canada
@@rickiihendrixx684 yeah but Canada dose that's the thing and it's not that it pays better. It's all by design. The difference is they can actually fight there government and change it in America that time has already happened. Plus they don't understand or care how it effects me and other fellow Americans. It raises home values cost more we are in an inflashion which not enough to go around and we give foreign aid the point is we Americans pay so much in taxes and other things it effects us just so they say they can have a better life. I just wish they would fight for there country and change it for the better.
This is how journalism should be.
I spent a few years in Tijuana and Jalisco. I love Mexico and it's a beautiful place with amazing people but the cartels are just devastating.
Thank you! I couldn’t agree more. God bless!!
Really love what your doing brother.Keep fighting the good fight.
I appreciate that. and I will
Enlightening to say the least...Great work guys. My God , there is so much wrong that is happening at our boarders. The fact that so many Americans refuse to work , and take the handouts provided by our Govt is a MFKing problem that requires resolution. Im gonna pray for those 2 that were interviewed, they deserve a better life....That entire episode is extremely upsetting , however its a must watch. Ill be sharing this w my kids when they return from school today. Thx again....
Man there is an part of me where my heart just breaks for these people but we just can't have even an idea of an open border. The things that our great country is going through right now is truly terrifying.
I feel the same but unfortunately alot of bad bad folks would come in too. Sad really
All the new Democratic constituents. It seems a sad sight, however because of sanctuary being given they wont appreciate not aspire to become American.
It's not like most of these people are highly skilled workers with jobs waiting for them
America was made by immigrants for immigrants
This is what we need to hear thank you
ITS ALWAYS GREAT CONTENT WHEN YOU AND ED TEAM UP. ED IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ON CARTELS AND HOW TO MANEUVER AROUND IN SOME OF MEXICO’S MOST DANGEROUS AREAS AND GIVING US THE VIEWERS PRO TIPS SHOULD WE VENTURE INTO MEXICO. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK SHAWN👍🏽
Thank you for the perspective. Appreciate your opinions and well-thought considerations.!
It's good to see someone change their mind. It's rare, and almost unheard of when you consider someone like Shawn with an audience made up of people who might have a particular bias against the concepts he opens his mind to. He risks alienating some closed minded folks who are looking for an echo chamber of their own beliefs. Good stuff Shawn.
You are setting the bar awfully high for all the other content creators out there. I think it's awesome. Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see where you take the channel next!
@@gameslikeagirl1232 Or, and here me out, the 18+ year old males can stay in their country and fix it. See Australia for further.
Its that bad because THEY made it such. They come to America and do the same thing but expect White People to pay for them
@@barbaravance6774 The housing and apartment shortages right now has also become very bad and as a US citizen whose sick and disabled, I was recently not only treated very badly and discriminated against, but refused the application, acceptance of my paperwork and the MO for application fee by the Mexican leasing agent who rented the available apartment to another Mexican and his teenage son.
Thank you for sharing, big thanks from Sweden. Love your and Ed´s content.
As someone from mexico, whats this "our border"? Your not an American, your conduct and every other mexican on US dirt from El Paso and north proves your kind are not here to be American. Youre just here for a hand out
@@giovannigamez8901 Yet they let in Ukraine refugees
Thank you for the perspective Shawn👍👍👍
Holy shit Shawn... This is a game changer. You and everyone with you have balls of steel. Thank you for this perspective. Man, I'm glad my parents got into this country.
Great work! It’s reality, opposed to the neglect of the truth by the networks! Thank you.
Lot of respect for how you ended this video, something that draws people to your videos is that you give off a genuine and 'straight up' vibe and i'm glad to see that the assumption is right. Just trying to be real with us, keeping politics and opinions from being a focal point.
New subscriber here as of July 2022. This hits home for me since I finally completed the process for my Mexican immigrant wife. It was a journey but a fulfilling and expensive one.
Very well said my friend!!
@@jubankta1627 Cheers!
Thanks for the hard work, Shawn!
Doing amazing work here Shawn, I’m Mexican and I’m all for the wall and strong border protection but I’m also for making it easier for law abiding immigrants to come into this country because I’ve seen it first hand every time I visit Mexico how tough it is out there for them to survive.
That's how most people are but our government keeps screwing everyone.
Wow, what an unbelievable coverage of the reality that's taken place. Thanks for the content.
That’s a different perspective to see that even the locals were pissed in Mexico about the migrants, that made me understand things even deeper
Spreading truth
Much appreciated
You definitely standout compared to the rest of the people making podcast. Great content!! Keep it coming! Also love the videos with you and Ed.
Shawn I’ve been binging your channel for the past 5 days. Incredible work. Thank you brother 🇺🇸
I’m speechless..so I’ll just share this. I appreciate you man.
Good work
SO glad I just had this pop up!!! Starting it now and SHARING!! Thank you all and Bless you guys!

This really needs to stop, we don’t need these people in this country
I've was raised by parents who were hard workers and who taught us that nobody owes is anything and to always work hard to take care of our own selves which was exactly what I did, sometimes even worked two jobs and never lived off no system. Right now I'm not only very sick, but disabled with one wrong move from becoming paralyzed and the rental gouging has not only made it so extremely difficult to find affordable housing, but I've already been discriminated against four times in a row by the ones that are and for the first time in my entire life I'm just 1.5 months from becoming homeless and having to live under a tarp myself while nobody gives crap.
Thank you for doing this. I hope there is more.
How are they supposed to create and groom a new generation of Democrat voters that way?
Thank you for providing the information
Hey Shawn, you should do a video on the deported veterans and their stories, as veteran myself I wonder how people who fought for our country got deported
Love you channel man. We need more journalists like yourself, I guess the yrs in the teams helped with your style of journalism. Great job man.
I could be talking out of my ass but i think Shaun’s attitude has changed since i started watching him a while back - not sure if he is happier or something i cant quite put my finger on.
I'm happier now.
Every episode of this show has evoked deep thoughts and emotions. The life experience of the people on this show and the heart and courage of the guests gives me a hope for the future of our Republic.
They want that free hand out, I don’t give a shit what they goin through, Americans first, stay in your country,
Thank you both for all you are doing to bring this awareness to us! Much respect 🙏
Great reporting! Thank you for this

Amazing work. Hope you get millions of eyes on this ASAP. Ed is such a badass
Great content, that’s what we need someone to go down there and see what’s really going on , nothing but raw straight forward facts . You and Ed make a great team love your podcast and keep this content coming , I’m Mexican I at one point was considered illegal I can’t say I know the struggle because I was brought here at a young age but shit I’ve done my part as an American citizen to keep this country great and I’m glad Shawn shows this side so most these assholes don’t think we’re here just free loading
I'm never disappointed when these two guys hook up. Excellent work.
