We say in Hindi -- Hello (Namaste, Namaskar, Ram Ram Ji, Ram Ram Sahay, Jai Siya Ram) Ram is a God and Siya is his wife, her real name is Sita If we are in Hanuman Ji's temple we say Jai Siya Ram If we are in Shri Ram's temple we say Jai Bajrang Bali ( Jai Hanuman Ji) If we are in God Shiv's temple we say Jai Bhole Nath If we meet people we say either one of above and any other welcoming word by God's name.
Older ones say Ram Ram and youngers say Namaskaar. When I see someone who is educated or officer I say Namaskaar and to older relatives I say RAM RAM JI.
