Imagine this: Last week I had made a date with a boy to the cinema, and my little sister latched on to us, it was really annoying.' Is it the same if I say: "... she tagged along with us ... "? I enjoyed this phrasal verb 'tag along', it's hilarious, English is funny.

I think putting the subtitles is a good idea for a while until you get more used to the sounds of English but I am speaking quite fast - (I don’t slow down very much) so I think that maybe why you find it hard to understand me but I think you are doing well.😊

It has a lot of different meanings - it can mean to switch on anything electronic but there is a second meaning which is a little rude - best to check that in the dictionary!

It means love will happen if something comes through it means it will deliver or ensure. It is not a very common phrasal verb.

Hi Sabrah i want to ask you about an idiom which i heard today : even from the snow man becomes but the man doesn't become from you . as far as i understand this idiom is used for a person when you despair about their development or proggress (in a wide sense )
I have never heard this idiom before ! I think it might be new. Where did you hear it ?
@@LoveEnglishUK my friend said it but he said that it was a Turkish idiom which is used to criticise irresponsible people who disregret school or work life and he translated this idiom from Turkish into English , referred to snow man ))
@@LoveEnglishUK actually i really wonder how do idioms in other foreign languages seem to English ? i hope someday you will shoot a video about it because some people use the idioms which are peculiar to their native language to the tourists during conversation .
