    The truth is that I really enjoyed this video.I learnt 12 British phrases and I knew 8 out of 20.My example sentence:
    I'm always full of beans after drinking smoothies with fresh fruits and vegetables.

    1. To do a bodge job. - To do something very badly.
    2. Get pissed - To get drunk. (After drinking too much alcohol)
    3. To give someone a bell - To call/ telephone someone
    4. They made a dog’s dinner of it! - They made a mess of it. They did it badly.
    5. To be chuffed or chuffed to bits - To be happy for something or someone
    6. Bagsy! - Me first!
    7. First any joy? Or Have any joy? - Did you have any luck?
    8. Pants! - (Adj) Something is bad.
    9. To pull a blinder. Or Play a binder. - To do something really well, showing skill.
    10. To spend a penny. - To go for a pee/wee to urinate.
    11. A chav (noun) Chavy (adj) - A common person very unsophisticated.
    12. To take the mickey out of someone. - To mock/ridicule/tease someone.
    13. To be full of beans. - To have a lot of energy.
    14. To be cream-crackered - Knackered=very tired, To have a Kip - To have a short sleep. A snooze/40 winks
    15. Something is Bog-standard - Ordinary/basic Nothing special
    16. Chinese whispers - Gossip that is not true or accurate.
    17. It’s a doddle! - Very easy/ not difficult.
    18. To have a chinwag. - To have chat/gossip (usually used to refer to women)
    19. Horses for courses - Different people like or are suited to different things.
    20. Bob’s your uncle! (fanny’s your aunt) - There it is! Finished! Done!

    1. Ten a penny - plenty in numbers but have little value.
    2. Skip (n) - container of refused items.
    3. Sleep rough - sleep uncomfortably.

    Brilliant, Leila!....There's an expression I find very funny and I think it is very British: "How's your father"!
    eg I think they had a bit of how's your father after the party….. meaning they had sex

    "Shotgun" doesn't mean the front of a car in American. It means, to sit in the the passenger seat next to the driver. Love the video. However, I wouldn't recommend an American to use any of these phrases until they've developed an English accent.
