Bad ass man, ordered mine yesterday when they dropped in the us in that Numa Ebi and Natural Pro Blue to match the craw in my lakes, excited as heck to try em
Lost 2 Craws my first trip at the reservoir. It really hurt my feelings lmao. If the water wasn't so cold I would have went in it. Stay tuned next video is gonna have a hog in it!!!
I wonder if the plastic is like Z Man baits that melt other plastics if they touch each other? Lots of tough soft plastics are like that apparently. That thing looks great in the water. Intuitive Angling also did a video about it but he didn't show it in the water and I wished he did. So thanks.
Im not sure if they play well with other plastics or not. Im gonna just keep mine in the orgianal packaging after I use them. I can put them right back. They will protect the bait with the plastic clam shell. I do the same with the magdrafts to keep the tail straight.
The entire bait feels durable including the claws. I know bass eat crawfish without a claw. From my experience, I have fished other baits with one claw and they still ate it. I think sometimes they may prefer that because it makes it an easier meal. As far as it being effective without both of them idk if it will still have the same buoyancy and action. Megabass made the entire bait out of an elastomer material for durability and buoyancy.
@@Strat642001 Im not sure if it's the same exact material like the elaztech that other companies use. I think everybody's mix is a little different. So I'm not sure if will be an issue. I'm going to just keep mine in the original clam shell packaging after I use them. It will protect them anyway.
I currently fish mine on the Shimano Expride B 7' 2" MHF Casting. That setup has fluorocarbon. I did a review on that exact rod and caught fish on it also on the sleeper craw. Check that video out but any jig rod should do. The sleeper has a smaller hook so you dont want to bend it out, however the hook is super strong and I had no issues even with a pretty stout rod.
@@Bassmaster_Ice318 If you have a medium already try it. As long as it's a fast or an extra fast action you should be fine. Just watch the weight rating on the rod the sleeper craw weighs 5/8 of an oz. You can also use braid to a flouro leader to help with make the action a bit stiffer.
Those should catch fish in the saltwater from the beach to way offshore under weed lines, and definitely around mangroves. I think a lot of species should attack it, especially with some shrimp scent.
I don't think I've found a bait that doesn't snag at some point. Im not the knock off type though, I like the real thing. Losing baits and tackle is just part of the game. Megabass isn't the cheapest for a reason, they make premium baits with premium components, and they get bit. When it comes to a big bass, I don't mind paying for peace of mind, knowing my tackle won't fail. If you're a bank fisherman grabbing a few extra might not be for everybody. For me, I don't mind, confidence is priceless. Time on the water is limited. You can toss them from a boat though and get the best of both worlds, if your not willing to risk any.

@@Outdoord good answer, thanks
How durable do the claws feel? Will the bait still be productive without the claws? That's my biggest concern with these. But man do they look good!!

@@Outdoord Good to know. Will definitely keep them away from other plastics.

Man I’m up right now waiting for the midnight drop lol
Awesome, I hope you snagged some. I did the same, I also got some colors that I didn't from the first order.
What rod and reel setup would you use to throw a Sleeper Craw?

Good points, I think everything will eat it as well!
Looks good, but sold-out everywhere you lucky dog...
Midnight at Discount Tackle
A lot of places did midnight drops. Check eBay if all else fails. There is also a Megabass FB group join that and ask around you could get lucky!

😈 craw
The knock offs will catch bass just as easy and won't hurt your pocketbook as bad when u snag them. Because these things are snag magnets.
