He kept putting himself in places where the golf ball could bounce back and hit him (or the golf club from the shredder) and I kept thinking "I know he's okay because the video is up, but it would be horrible if he survived an exploding .50 BMG only to get taken out by a golf ball."
I watched a golfer test this thing a while back and it’s actually pretty good for what it was designed for. It was made for old timers who love golf but just can’t swing a club anymore.
@kentuckyBallistics this was pretty cool to see. My grandfather did all the engineering on this club and I am the machinist that built all the proto types and the first 4000 units that hit market. Keep up the cool content... also if you want to see some cool history of that club, one of the very first proto types was actually on "home improvement" years ago
I feel like the club needs a spike on the bottom for stabilization and to not lose so much power when the blank fires. I bet that small addition would greatly improve distance and accuracy.
I thought StuffMadeHere had made one of these, but no, he made the baseball bat with blanks (and multiple of them) and a self correcting golf club. Mark Rober made the one that was a rocket golf club, and I did a thing made a pool stick that also used a blank. Glad to see someone made the concept and took it to market - however impractical XD

I was gonna ship this one, but ran out of KB videos to watch. What a gem. Laughed the whole time 👍
Eggplant ain't bad if you cook them right. The best way I have ever eaten them was just sliced like little thin pancakes, dipped in an egg, milk, salt, & pepper dip to get them all lathered up, then cover them in some Italian breadcrumbs, and fry them for a minute or two. Dam, dem tings tase good, yeah. Born and raised and still living in Louisiana. Cajun through and through. Born on the Bayou baby.
These people that make those tables must love this guy
Scott’s intros are the best😂
14:38 The timing on that was 1 in a billion shot. Very impressed!
This could potentially make golf worth watching 😂
if im having a bad day i watch kentucky ballistics. his videos are so entertaining and his laugh is contagious. thanks scott for making me smile
This is WAAAAY better than Mark Rober's rocket club!! 😮
Although, I had *REALLY* hoped it was impact triggered, to combine the kinetic force of the swing's, with the blank's "explosive" force. 😞
_(I know the blank is still delivering kinetic force, but you get my point!! lol)_
SF author Keith Laumer mentioned ballistic golf in a few of his (very funny) Retief short stories. Great to see it in real life! Thanks!
That's a beautiful truck. I'd make it into a vietnam style gun truck. Like a mobile bunker. Paint it with some od green carc paint and add some sheet steel. I bet Matt could help you with it. Great collaboration.
Thank you, Kentucky Ballistics, for making me feel not so alone in my golfing abilities
Huston Jones needs to come play golf with you for science!! 😊
