Very complete review, Jonathan. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. You did not mention whether, since the shutter curtain was damaged, did it still work properly? If yes, does that just affect the value but not the functionality?
One thing I saw you did but did not mention is that when you put the back on push in the release button so that it doesn't snap/slam into place. This reduces the wear on the body and back.
Yes, fantastic equipment. As I mentioned in the video the Hasselblad 200-series' reputation suffered unfairly from the legacy problems associated, primarily, with the 2000FC.
Yes. The Hasselblad CF lenses have leaf shutters that are fully mechanical. In contrast, the Hasselblad cameras with a focal plane shutter do need a battery to operate.
I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that the FCW models work in C mode without a battery whereas the FC and FCM require power supply for that. Provided the lens is of some C type.
@andreasfischer9158 Yes, you can lock the focal plane open and use the C lenses with leaf shutter. But only the CF lenses will allow you to lock open the leaf shutter to use the camera’s focal plane shutter.

Thank you for your message. In this case the 2000FC was working perfectly! Sadly, often, the blinds are damaged beyond repair.
Another hugely informative video. Thanks
Glad it was useful - thanks
I had the Hasselblad 2000 FC which I got upgraded at the factory, so it was even better than the 2000 FC/M.

Yes, thank you!
Thanks for the video, I am a big fan of the 200 series.

@@WorldwideCameraExchange i agree, i am at a point where i am considering trading my 500 cm for something else because i only use my 203 fe :)
I have the 2000 FC/M model, love it!
Good to hear. Hasseblad is such good stuff if it's looked after and serviced regularly.
hello!I have a question: Can I use the leaf shutter when i have no battery?(with the cf lens)
