- This is a reedited version of a previous Hasselblad video that I posted a couple of weeks ago.
As in the previous video, I will tell the history of my Hasselblad, how I came to own it and a bit about its previous two owners.

The camera is a peace of history and I am very satisfied to have one myself. Nice presentation.
Very informative and heartwarming to know the story and friendship behind the camera. Thank you!!
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video.
Great, informative video. Thank you Earl! That photo of you and Walter at Yosemite was great!
I am a Hasselblad enthusiast also - but what I really enjoyed was hearing your story and that of your camera. Mine gear is just eBay and camera shop purchases - but I suppose their story starts with me now.
What a great friend you have to gift you such a beautiful camera set up. It is so fantastic to hear such stories and how the camera is continuing its story with you.
I am very grateful for all the knowledge you’ve shared with all of us… I love how simple and effective your explanations were, I’ve watched hundreds of videos on Hasselblads since I got mine and I enjoyed your video the most! Thank you so much!!!
Really good info, thanks for sharing Earl! Look forward to more videos from you
Such a NICE and ENJOYABLE presentation, clearly and patiently done, in details; thank you…looking forward to seeing more…
Thank you kindly for your comments
I just purchased a hasselblad 500cm that came with a complete kit with most of the goodies you have. I’m glad I found the video because I didn’t know about the sports finder. Awesome video sir.
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed the video. Now, get out and shoot some pics!
Great series ,great info especially on the accessories ,subbed and looking out fr more 👍🏾
Thanks Earl. Can't wait to see the next video...
Great video! Thanks for sharing it!
"...there's no batteries needed, everything is gears and springs and levers" - the essence of a Hasselblad 500C/M in a nutshell.
Love the real-world provenance but I am curious as to why Lou stepped down from a Hasselblad 500C/M to a Mamiya 645. I guess people want different things. Thought I was a Hasselblad know-all but that rubber lens shade threw me - never come across one before.
Still can't get over the fact that this is a 45 year-old ensemble - I think it would be fair to say each owner treated it with care.
All in all, a remarkable ode to friendship via photography.
Thank you for your comment. The reason why Lou sold the Hasselblad and got the Mamiya was because he needed the money.
I would love to find one just like that, well taken care of and in great condition.
very much enjoyed this Earl!
Great video Earl!
Great video
Earl, great video and great shot of you at Yosemite. If you ever want to sell that quick focus ring attachment please let me know.
Love the story of your 500CM Earl. That camera is in good hands!
Thank you!
Wow Earl. What a great video. A real friend walter, saluts to him and for sure I have subcribed to your channel
Thanks for the kind comment and the sub! Wally is, indeed, very generous.
Hello, Earl! Thank you so much for the detailed information.
How heavy is the NC2 Prism Viewfinder?
I can't find my electronic scale to weigh it myself but from what I could find on the Internet, it is just under 1 pound (400 g) approximately. That sounds correct. It is a big chunk of glass.
thank you!very helpful!
Glad you found it helpful.
Anyone know if earls doing ok? He hasnt posted a video in 9 months!!!!
Stuart- You are so kind to be concerned about me. I am just fine but just have not been inspired to post any new videos. My bad!
