I am still on the Mitas tyres. I get serious wobble at 60 (+/-5 ) km/h. But ONLY when i have the top case on. Without the top case no problems other than turning a tiny bit to the right. Looking to get these or Karoo Street in the spring. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
I'm on my second set of these on my GS, great all round tyre. Stick like s**t to a blanket on those fast Sunday ride outs, decent traction on the gravel roads and decent in the wet. Only criticism would be they take a little while to get up to temperature compared to something like a road 6.
Are you going to ABR next year? if so what tyre will you fit for that? I had Metzlers on the XR and couldn't get on with them although I was very new to biking so maybe it was me. haha. Fasty-Rides
I certainly am, although I'll probably be taking the CRF300L again. As you'll know it gets pretty churned up and I'd recommend a full on knobbly. I saw a few bigger bikes running the Anakee Wilds, in the mud they looked like slicks 😀

I've never had a problem with the top box, I suspect that's because there is a big wind break sat in front of it 😉

Nice one, great feedback 😀 Just out of interest, what sort of miles did you get out of your first set?
