I really enjoy the brother/sister relationship between Peter and Gwen. Coupled with the romance between Peter and MJ, this is one of those moments when the superhero is on top of the world.

The Spider-Man extra I can't get over when a car was flying towards a crowd and we'll stop in mid-air and a girl turns and it says "It's a web"
When Spidey went to Hollywood the first time it was a pretty good trip, but he sort of got lost and did some dumb stuff at the end. The second time was just a disaster from the start. Plans were made and then dropped and everyone would just forget it happened. This third trip has been quite good. It looked like spidey might have to head home early but thankfully he gets to stick around town a bit longer.

I know exactly what scene Sal is taking about in Spider-Man 2. But I remember being a child and thinking that she had some large knockers. Sophomoric yes, but that'll be stuck in my head even as a grown man lol
Ultimate Spidey episodes give me so much joy. The first comic book i ever picked up alongside Spider-Man vs Superman.
Since people haven’t been asking, I want to see at least 1 more Ultimate Spider-Man before 2020 ends. The demand is there!
i love ultimate spider-man it was really awesome and badass and this story with ultimate peter parker going up against ultimate doc ock again was really awesome and tons of fun.
As soon as they mentioned Spider-Man's reaction to finding out that he was in Brazil, I thought about the scene in Spider-Man: Far From Home after Spider-Man has his first fight with Mysterio and realises that he is in the Neverlands

love it when you do these episodes. i remember reading the venom story when i was a kid. got the hard back and everything. i was a kid, so i think i didn't realy pay much attention to the story. nowadays that isn't the case.
Anyway, could you please cover the Daniel Way venom run? The protagonist of that arc is one of those character i wish they'd done more with.

Ultimate Spider-Man is back :) Hey Sal, Ben, Ethan, and Tiffany, since you did the terrible Ultimatum and have done Ultimate Spider-Man and the Ultimates, would you consider doing other Ultimate line comics like Ultimate X-Men and Ultimate Fantastic Four? I thought Ultimate X-Men was good from issues 1-65 and annual 1, and Ultimate Fantastic Four was good from 1-18, 21-32, and annual 1. Everything after that wasn't that good to me.

Kind of expected a Bloodshot Back Issue this week, but they did a Good Bad Ugly on him recently. Really great epusode regardless!

I loved Ultimate Spider-Man... but I’m can’t wait for JMS’s Spider-Man vol 2 back issues A.K.A. The Conversation (which ironically after that story has Peter and Aunt May going to Hollywood too see Mary-Jane, and Spider-Man has to fight Doctor Octopus... coincidence ???)

It’s funny watching the playlist of Ultimate Spider-Man vids, hearing Sal bemoan the Raimi extras, and thinking back a couple vids to Ethan bemoaning the Chris Nolan Batman extras - might make for a fun episode of GBU with the extras from those two series and maybe Darkman for good measure

I love the goofy extras in the Raimi movies. They fit well with the super cheesy tone of those movies.
I, too, ironically love those extras. They're so bad. So memeable.
Just Some Guy with a Mustache I guess it’s just a personally preference thing. Sal finds them annoying but I think they’re hilarious. I mean at least the Raimi extras have personality as opposed to the ones in the MCU.

Sal's whole thing about Raimi was a big part of my issue with those films. Even when they were the only Spiderman films, they bothered me, but that was all we had.

This was awesome! I know they will never do this, but I kinda want each superhero to get a one-off story of them hearing that they are getting a movie made about them. Like if the Avengers heard that there was going to be a movie made about them, they each have a comment about the actor portraying them and the director too.
Iron Man is cool with RDJ, Captain America doesn't know who Chris Evans is, Hawkeye is disappointed about Jeremy Renner, Thor says Chris Hemsworth "isn't big enough" for some reason, Black Widow could care less, and Banner is like "wait who's Mark Ruffalo?"

Not from what I remember. In Vol. 21/Issue 128, Peter compares his relationship to her to that of siblings. Then again, post-ultimatum I recall him and MJ breaking up (again for like the 3rd or 4th time) so he might have started dating her around then.
Unfortunately they did date in Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man. There's a time jump and they are already in the midst of a relationship. It's pretty bad and Bendis makes it go away very quickly.
