That makes a lot of sense. I’ve noticed lately my stratus have developed way more. After explaining the engaging motion. It’s a perfect explanation of a new pulling movement I’ve been doing the past 4-5 months

I do almost every back exercise (machine and cable) single armed now, have done for about 2 years. When I used 2 ares I was all biceps and forearms. My back has doubled in size

That train track que, & lowering weight has changed my workouts considerably. If I feel connection better on one side is unilaterally training the only thing I can do to help correct feeling say my back/chest engage evenly?

I love how you mentioned the useless stuff a lot of people do for lat development. I only weigh about 215 and people comment on my size all the time and it’s because I have solid lats and a good “V taper” I literally never do wide grip pull downs or deadlifts, I focus on movements that I feel my muscles being worked instead of picking 425 up off the ground and setting it back down. Now don’t get me wrong, when I want my dick to grow I’ll throw down on some deadlifts but for now I’m trying to build muscle💪🏼

I didn't understand why pulling down from above is useless for lat development. With chest up while contracting lats especially.

At home overhead pulley is all I have. But since I heard about pulling diagonal with lat saw type attachment and workout handles. I've found that works a champ for me. I guess that is the best you can do with overhead pulley.
