16 treacherous hours. In a middle seat . Hated every moment of it. Love these guys! 👑👑
👏👏👏
I watched a lot of Just Planes videos and to me it seems like Air Canada pilots are always the nicest and they take time to explain everything to the Just Planes crew and their viewers. Canadians are such, good, friendly, warm, loving people, maybe that's why they have been chosen by the world as the friendliest nation on Earth. Love you Canada, from your big bad sounthern neighbor(USA).
I think the microphone needs a muff on it, many Plosisives
I followed Just Planes and saw these pilots on their departure out of Pearson Int'l in Toronto. The captain does very good explanations. Good job
Love Canada 🍁.
They make it look easy but a very technical walk through before flight.
Air Canada is by far my favourite.
You guys keep getting better and better Just Planes.
Thank you very much Hoder. Glad you enjoy our videos!
Wonderful!
Brilliant video, great explanation by the captain & 1sr officer . 👍👏👏
Thank you Simon, indeed its been one of our best sellers since its release.
Loading the RTE by hand 🤚 oldschool 😊
True, I wounder why they didn't use the ACARS or maybe this route is not saved on the FMS!
We do a quick look to make sure all these buttons and switches look like they are in the correct position!
I always thought is was about trays and chairs in upright position.
Very interesting. I take my hat off for them to memorize every button and the technology in their hands. Well done.
Nice class. Thank you.
Awesome stuff, go Air Canada crew
Pilot give beautiful discription
Gorgeous
Awesome video! Very immersive. Thanks!
Excellent video. Thank you.
Been on Air Canada flight 15/16 many times since 2010. I was on 4/22/19 back to WAS DC via Toronto. Great crew and great airline! 👍
very nice
Enjoyed joining the cockpit early in their process. Excellent video!
nice watch there copilot!
I really appreciate the panel closeups on this one where you can read EVERYTHING. This captain was great!
So cool
super cool..
I have this DVD and it's great
Amazing video as always!! 😄
Great vid!
Excellent coverage of the flight planning, flight management systems, using the relief pilot. Interesting this is the first time I’ve heard a pilot inform the PA’s of steps in altitude. For aviation nuts knowing that your airliner must burn X amount of fuel before moving up to a higher stage explains a lot. Thank heavens for the 757 Ariel Sports Car that makes such steps unnecessary, sadly it’s going, going, gone too soon
This is lovely, can you film more flights out of HK?
Thanks for sharing the video!! Great job!
From Charlie Yankee Yankee Zulu TO Victor Hotel Hotel Hotel, wow, a long flight.
I remember when 701 joined the fleet. I was able to fly on her on one of her first flights from YYZ to YUL. The aircraft fly "locally" for a while to ensure that all is well.
Saw my house. Pretty cool.
Thats very cool :)
I have this DVD. Love the Caption! Such a knowledgable guy!
Never gets old, to see these giants leave the ground, and getting the equivalent of about 50mpg per passenger.
I know the tower controller at 9:27 :D
Thats cool :)) Give him our best regards!
Good aye HK Spotter DH
Canadian Tire has a sale on shock absorbers this week ...
the beauty B772 Long Range version! the -200 LR has a longer range than the other 777 and it is kind of rare
Sweet! 👌🏼✈️
Thank you so much from India

Another great summary video, as usual. Question... (should probably be directed to the ATP crowd): the Triple 7 can start both engines simultaneously but this does not seem to be standard practice. Just wondering why. It’s rare to see simultaneous engine starts occur at all, at least on video and from personal observation. It seems rare even with other airplanes that can do it like the 747-400/8 (starting 2 at a time, in their case). Is it to reduce loads on the APU and help with maintenance? Or maybe a workload/CRM related reason?
So the A/C for the cabin is controlled from the cockpit? Do the attendants have any way to adjust, based on the input of the passengers?
Hello JustPlanes , i think its the return by the North Pole ( Polar Operations Video ) ..so Amazing ! and excellent video
Only pilots reads about their job duties before work, during work and after the work is done.
Well that’s a surprise, Air Canada is my favorite airline and the 777, my favorite plane!
Then this is for you. Enjoy the video!
JustPlanes thank you so much for posting this! 😂
Very welcome :)
Same goes for me!
That's same for me too hahahahaha
I wonder if there are any cockpit videos of the landing into the infamous Kai Tak
Anthony Kernich Yes there are. Several good ones are made by ITVV (The CX 747-400 and the 777-200). Check them out!
always found it odd that the right seat has to wear first officer bars when they are a captain also.
Lol no, the captain is the captain.
@@ts9271 just as long as ur not the Captain lululullollul
Heyy, one of my life goals/dreams is to sit in the cockpit of a 777 landing, do you know how I can make that possible... (Additionally, walk around a 777)
I love airplanes, and I'd do ANYTHING for an experience like this
coolkidsahib you can walk around a 777 on an actual flight😂
Why does a multi million dollar plane ride like a pinto before take off crew shakes like crazy!
Should go from leaf springs to coil springs.
Planes aren’t meant to drive, temporary discomfort on the ground is totally secondary to main point
They don't fly the 300ER to HKG anymore?
300ER flies from Vancouver. Toronto route has been the 200LR for as long as I can remember.
-300ER still flies to HK but sometimes the route is done by the -200LR instead.
I was on 200LR 4/17/19 to HK, but on my return 4/22/19 was 300ER. Used to be mostly 200LR, but last several year Air Canada mix in or substitute 300ER a lot. I mean when you book your flight and select your seat in LR and it will be 300ER when you get to gate... Just like my return flight on 4/22/19.
Why is every runway as bumpy as a turnip field. I know its a lot to do with rubber off other planes, but bumpity bumpity bump. Have I answered my own question?
I’m just guessing because planes aren’t really meant to drive, it’s just a small part of the process, so I assume even a car would have a more comfortable suspension. They’re supposed to be in the air as much as possible where imperfect bumpy roads don’t matter.
Isn't the Boeing 777-200LR's MTOW lower than The Boeing 777-300ER ??? If so, Why can't Boeing design a ULR version of The Boeing 777-300ER - wouldn't there be more range with (slightly) higher efficiency?
I guess with a new engine this would be a great competitor to the A359 ULR if there is a demand on this kind of A/C!
I mean - It's possible considering the fact that it uses FBW systems already... and Boeing can pitch it as a Cheap alternative to The Boeing 777X @@HymanJoe
What year is this?

Ladies and gentlemen this is the captain speaking 😍😍😍
that is good!!
A little shakie on take off.. plane sounded like it was falling apart
:D
Why do pilots put on a type of "frog-like" croaking voice when speaking to passengers?
They always repeat the same things to passengers and that's why they speak like robots/frogs
Believe it’s a habit picked up as former military pilots using voice activated microphones. They need a pre-sound to work, no button press.
We have to attend a special “How to sound like a Captain when making announcements” ground school. You don’t pass until you get the frog croaking mastered!
