CORRECTION: The dry weight for the E17B is incorrectly stated at 2:07. The E17B dry weight is 2640lbs.
The walk throughs keep getting better and better. A live walk through with Harrison was a big influence on us purchasing our 21C which we love.

Very nice updated showcase. The most in depth yet. Fills in a lot of gaps in previous content by going "under the hood" and showing a little bit deeper beyond the skin. First video I've seen that shows the undercarriage, whole roof as well as inside all of the interior cabinets and storage areas.
One small thing, though, it seems you put the axle weight for the dry weight which is a little misleading. I think the listed dry weight is 2640 for 17b?

One detail I'd like to know is, how high above the seat cushion is that thermostat? It would be great to sit with my back against that wall and legs stretched out on the cushion, looking out all the windows. Or would I hit my head on the thermostat?
How much is that base model in CAD it be nice to see a option for a 12v fridge too
Well done video, very complete. We bought a new 17B with full time rear bed configuration from you in 2019. We are very pleased with it, very high build quality, tows like a dream. I believe the trailer axle is 3700 Lb, so that would be gross max trailer weight ?
Trailer axle weight was what they put in the video by mistake as the dry weight, 2300 or so, when actual dry is 2640. But I believe the whole thing is rated for 4000 lb gross
@@Sean-ft7ys thanks, yes Escape indicate a total gross weight of 4000 lbs for the 17B. The axle is rated for 3700 lbs so I assume Escape feels that 300 lbs will be carried on the trailer hitch. I haven’t weighed my trailer when loaded for camping but I have measured the tongue weight, usually around 400 lbs. I try to load anything heavy in the front part of the trailer. I have the front storage box and it’s fully loaded. We have the dual battery option, AC, solar so that adds a bit of weight too.
If I get the double solar and the lithium batteries, can the batteries be installed inside? I worry they'll get too cold in winter.
Do you do the foam undercoat?
If the black tank is removed for a composting toilet, why does it sit so high on that hump?

Does your 17 trailer have a black tank flush? I see your batteries are at the back of the trailer on the bumper. Why do you not have a batter drawer that pulls out? It seems like with a trailer of this build you would have the under belly fully enclosed, a 4 season trailer???

Why don’t you have a pull out drawer for the batteries near the front of the trailer? I also noticed that your underbelly is not fully enclosed. Has escaped thought about enclosing the underbelly and making a Four-season trailer?
Are the walls carpeted just like a Casita? Sorry, I can’t really see the walls clearly.

We use a high-quality vinyl headliner throughout the walls and ceiling of the trailer. No carpet walls!- Harrison@Escape

We have a Great Pyrenees that goes everywhere with us. This clarification of no carpeted walls is a huge plus I hadn't thought to ask.
Carpeted walls would be a nightmare with our dogs hair, it's almost impossible to remove from auto carpet with a Dyson.
A good Scotsman selling an escape.
Something Else: I would replace the toilet with a compost toilet and rid the black water tank system.

Make a camper that is all electric...solar..have you heard about solar...apparently not. Forget the gas...it can be harmful.
Also, women want bathrooms...toilets!!
