In case no one else has mentioned, this is a true story from singer Ronnie Dunn. The older man was his father figure and role model from when he was six years old.
I'm so glad you see the happy! Too many people see only the sad ... and it is sad. So sad when we lose our people. But so happy when you know they believe and you also believe. When you both believe you'll see each other again, there's happiness among the tears.
There is absolutely no shame in being moved to tears of joy by a story or song and this is both and sung with such conviction. I always say that one of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit is water. When that Spirit fills you to the point you cannot contain it any longer, you let it out as tears of emotional joy
The story telling by Ronnie is for sure next level. I don't know how he could sing it and not get upset . I cried and cried the first time I saw it. I cried the second and third time too. I even cried with you today. I get emotional with my music. Can't help it. Just happens. Great reaction...but you always do a great job Nick. I know if you are reacting it's going to be good. You are such a joy to watch. Thanks!!! Sending you love from Texas ❤❤❤
Love that this touched your heart and soul! Yes, this was a true story...(as you already know) and I sure can't listen to it without tears flowing....100's of times, it still gets to me.....Ronnie Dunn's voice is one of my favorites and his voice added to the perfect video is a magical masterpiece!! I love your reaction channel! Sending Blessings to you, Nick!
My dad died when I was 6years old and my mom died 🔟 days after my wife and I were married also my brother died in 2006and I know I will see them all again in heaven as I am so thankful that I grew up in a Christian family 😊😊😊😊
I know Brooks & Dunn but I've never heard this song before. When a song touches me like this my tears flow. Music for me is a roller coaster and I love the ride. I love your show and I subscribe
I’ve loved this song a long time. Years ago I called radio station and requested it, they told me to religious and they couldn’t play it.. that was the last day I listen to country music on the radio
People would rather believe that it's true, regardless of how many times Dunn has said that it's not. The other writer, Craig Wiseman, has explained how the song came to be... and his writing skills are unprecedented.

Why did the song's video in the lower right corner of the screen became a total blur at 1:32 and stay that way until the end of the song at 8:17?
This is a true story of Ronnie Dunn's life and a testament to his belief in Jesus and so he wrote this song. Time is growing short and it's time to get off the fence and embrace the Lord so this isn't all there is to life! God bless your tender heart!
Song always makes me cry ❤ I don’t know if you’re a Christian or not, but I saw how much it touched you. As a Christian this song is truly special.
It's all about love, friendship, respect and God!

Not exactly, Ronnie is the narrator telling another person's true story. I also thought this was Ronnie's personal experience for several years.
@@Prozak63 Huh. Thanks for clarifying, I'd been told this was Dunn's personal experience from the first time the song came out.

I love this song ❤ Ronnie Dunn has an amazing storyteller's voice. Brooks plays a mean guitar and compliments Ronnie's voice so well❣️

No need to say more than, "I Believe" One of the most powerful songs of the century...
You might give Ronnie Dunn's "Bleed Red" a listen. It will bring tears to your eyes.
It's been said he would not sing this ever again. Too many memories.
You would enjoy ANY song from Brooks and Dunn. Ronnie Dunn has an amazing voice. Love them💜
You should check out Stay by Sugarland. The official video is the best. Talk about emotional
I cried.😭
I am convinced that Ronnie Dunn is the greatest singer on this planet. For me, nobody else comes even close to comparing.
I suggest you should check out some of the live versions of their songs from Cain’s Ballroom. Absolutely fantastic.
It's not a true story, Ronnie Dunn has said it a few times.

When you paused you lost focus. No matter how many times I hear this song, it gets dusty in here.
