You Ol bastards stop riding so well lol, Makes a younger fella like me jealous as an emerald. Brooke looks like he's slaying it, especially with the way he whips the rear end out on some of those bigger jumps
Anoyvery enjoyable video Lance. Thank you. Looks like you boys always have such fun. I see your twin brown wasn’t invited out with the Dada Army crew. Shame. If Brook wants to send me his replaced shock and fork for my Rail, I’d give him a tenner 😉
This place looks so cool but unfortunately I was not able to get over there due to family plans for seeing Auckland and due to the changing weather pattern…Maybe the next trip. Great video and met a driver for Auckland Tours named Matt who rides there and races motocross there as well at Woodhill in the Masters class.
Really enjoyed this one Lance. Envious….. of the range of jumps you have, and because you’re pretty good at jumping despite what you say; and because you probably still have trails that are open and rideable. Here in Nelson, I suspect we won’t see any of the trails open for weeks to months because of all the carnage from the recents mega storm. Slips, washouts, and more washouts and slips. I expect many of the trails around Nelson will be toast. Sigh….
Haha, love the finale mate 😂 I tried hitting a grade 5 trail at Waitangi MTB Park a few days ago called “Te Corner”… and just like your GoPro, it managed to play up as well 😅 may take me a lil while longer to overcome some of the fear associated with the track, but Woodhill definitely looks like a whole heap of fun 😌
i do so enjoy spending my saturday mornings with you lance it was a lark as allways but i was left a little dissapointed that you only lasted 8 minutes this week ! and since im only getting you once a week or so at the moment !! i wondered if at all possible you could make it last a little longer next time !!! 😁 xx
So sorry Donna. This week's video won't be much longer I am afraid. Have had covid quite bad so no riding for 3 weeks hence less videos. Will try to work on the stamina for you as I get better.😁
Fantastic video Lance really enjoyed watching it. Thank goodness we have got you back on your mtb not a Road bike. You are a way to good mountain bike rider to see you out there riding road bikes. But I understand why you do it because you are out there trying to loose weight like me . All ways looking forward to watching your next exciting mtb video take care mate
Motocross bikes have had larger wheels on the front since forever. Using a 'road cone' as an analogy... if the front wheel is larger - in theory, a bike with a large front wheel should turn better, which is why I've always assumed MX bikes had a larger wheel on the front... Better turning. For years (decades) I've wondered why mountain bike didn't emulate motocross bikes with a larger front wheel... So my only surprise with 'mullet' bikes is "why did that take so long"? I'd be very interested in a review to see if there is any measurable difference in improved turning with a mullet... and any measurable disadvantage if a bike is pedal-powered (i.e. not a dirt bike).
Funny thing is I had a mullet is 2005. Specialized big hit. 26 front 24 back. Was designed for big hits. Worst bike ever to pedal. Took along time till the next one. I think a small front wheel turns sharper but a big wheel rolls over stuff better. The small rear allows short chain stays which improves cornering.
The mullet definitely turns better, so much so I almost went off trail a few times to start with as I wasn't expecting it to turn so sharply. It is way better on switch back climbing as well. Better turning and the wheel not hitting my behind are the biggest notable differences. 29 was more stable in the air and smoother in the ruff but mullet better for everything else so far.
I think it would be easier to reach the ‘Send It’ mentality in NZ since there’s free hospitalisation for everyone! Every damn cock reason helps out there. 😆
It is not too hard to do but you need to get the speed right. You can go too slow. Watch other riders and follow someone in. Saying that Steve did it for the first time today and cased it but no drama.
New friend here always watching your channel...

Brooke likes to throw the back around. He was reluctant to get an ebike as he thought this wouldn't be possible. Didn't take long to get used to it.
oh no sorry to hear that.. im one of the rare ones not to have had that pleasure yet.. hope your feeling better soon old lad xx

I don't think he changed them, just modified them instead.
Nice looking run down How Good👍👍👍
Wow Aviator looked a bit spicy... Who needs barrels
Yo lance nice to see you out there

Maybe next time
Very nice you make me want to go Ride 🤠
Another great video Lance! Saw Zac in person at Woodhill today. He looks even more handsome in real life 😆
Sorry to hear your eye sight is failing 🤔

Hadn't even thought of that. Sorry to hear that. I really want to do a trip to Nelson one day. Will wait for sunny days though.

The good news is my go pro started working again and I have made a video of that track too.
Go on mate give it a go
Great video 🤩👍

Never giving up the mtb. Which I had tracks near my house. Glad you enjoyed the video.
nice jumping Lance, I'm working my way up to these jumps!
Awesome video Lance, loved it. Weather down here in Rotorua has been crap but makes for interesting riding tho..😳 keep up the great vids 👍👍
I am so over this winter. Roll on summer.
Nice seeing the lads getting the jump Train going!
Have you got any interesting new bike reviews lined up soon?
Yes I have. Hopefully in next few weeks.
Nice vid, woodhill conditions look so nice, roto conditions are still 💩
Been pretty wet here but Woodhill seems to cope well.

@@MrBrookeJamieson looking forward to trying it out some time.
Watching this vid for the 10th time.Which is the bigger drop AV8A or the larger of the 3 drops?
To be honest they are about the same with similar run in speeds. The AV8A drop is less forgiving if you go too fast as the landing is steeper.
Rock Candy looks harder than most grade 5 and 6's I've rode
It is not really that extreme just awkward on a big e bike.
It’s just hard to get the flow right in my opinion. The jumps aren’t too hectic
@@samuelvivian609 that's exactly what I think. Hard to maintain flow.
I think it would be easier to reach the ‘Send It’ mentality in NZ since there’s free hospitalisation for everyone! Every damn cock reason helps out there. 😆
Good old ACC. Used that a few times.
how hard is the big how good drop?

how old is brooke ? he's a shredder !
53 same as me.
Thatsn better you have come back from the darkside. I think Brooke has made his bike go even fsater
Don't worry I am not going to the dark side.
