this info was found out on the TV show The Boulet Brothers Dragula season 2. the other band member along side Dahvie competed on this show and told how he was forced to go on tour without hiv meds and treatment and it made him sick to the point of almost dying and thats why he left the band. He recovered and is now Undetectable for hiv and now continues to create art and peform under the drag artist named Dahli. Go check them and Dragula out :)
Yeah that's one thing Jay said. But Jay also depended on dahvie and witnessed sooo many encounters with dahvie being with teenagers, Jay preyed on children as well. So did Jeffree . When dahvie got in trouble and things started blowing up this is when Jay and jeffree turned on him. They were ALL BAD. And they all were messing with kinda under the age of 16

Predatory older dudes were always kind of a weird underlying theme in the scene. There were constantly older guys (roadies, venue organizers, bands) around at shows trying to hit on 15 year olds. I actually thought it was funny as a teen and even dated a 24 year old scene band dude (can’t remember which local Chicago band it was) when I was 16. Now i look back on it like yikes 😬

I’ve seen old posts of people preparing for warped that included writing Xs on their hands to indicate that they were underage or bringing friends or family to protect them.

I cried too. My rapist finally got sentenced in august last year, the only sad thing is his 6 year sentencing for raping me and another girl , his sentence got reduced to 3 years a few months ago because he's behaved good since August

The thing that really scares me when it comes to the victims is that I remember being that vulnerable and impressionable when I was a teenager. Just thinking about how somebody that I admire could take advantage of me in the same way is a wake-up call. I used to be obsessed with Justin Bieber when I was 15, and (hypothetically speaking) I know damn well that if I went to one of his shows and he pulled me into a back room that I wouldn't fight it, and I would feel ashamed of it when looking back as an adult.
I was in the MySpace scene in 2009 at the age of 13, Jesse (now goes by Damian) was just a little younger than me at the time. And a while back actually on their Tumblr they came back out and said that Dahvie DID rape them and they took it back for the very reason you suspected it to be. My impressionable ass believed everything Dahvie said because of how he looked and the character he played to his audience. I was a fan of BOTDF for a very long time. As I got older I would find myself walking away from the band and then coming back for nostalgia's sake. I actually started investigating the allegations around the age of 17 years old, watching videos by OfficialGATG, Bluemagus and Madame SugarCunt. I went to their final tour with Jayy in 2016, cause I have a lot of friends who were associated and even worked with BOTDF. I kept these stories from those UA-camrs in the back of my head the entire time but I truly wanted to see if Dahvie could show me they were wrong. I saw them a total of 4 times live from between the ages of 15 to 19. I had a friend from New Jersey that was very close friends with Dahvie. We saw my second show on that tour in Whitehall PA. They were touring with that other crunkcore MySpace band Brokencyde. Jayy was avoiding everyone and at the time I had no idea why. AND funny thing is, me and my NJ friend ALSO played Smash Bros with Dahvie just like All Time Low did. Dahvie seemed alright at first you know? I stuck around for both Brokencyde and BOTDF cause I mean those guys were THE faces of MySpace back in the day. It straight up felt like 2009 again. Jayy was so out of it that night. I just knew something was wrong. The show ended early actually and I also do not know why. But after the set ended, a verbal fight broke out between Dahvie and Brokencyde. And then that night Dahvie said he was kicking them off the tour. We hung out at the venue for a little bit, then we all decided to bail the venue and go back to the hotel. Dahvie brought a very young woman with him, while he was still with Fallon mind you. I believe she was 19 years old. But they spent over an hour and a half in the hotel while the rest of us stayed in the parking lot. It was me, my NJ friend, my ride to Whitehall from Pittsburgh, and a few other 19/20 years olds. One of them was beginning to panic cause they had a curfew cause they lived with their parents still and they had to be at campus the next morning. We had plans to go out and eat at IHOP. Finally Dahvie came back and the girl he slept with, her ride arrived to pick her up. The other girl was in a full blown panic attack and Dahvie was like, "Alright lets head out". She started saying she needs to go home and that she cant stay and profusely apologized. Dahvie was at first in shock and then began to pressure her into coming with us. It made her anxiety worse and she began to cry. And Dahvie got very angry, began shouting at her, calling her a "big baby" and a "brat". Everything began to sink in for me, as I was slowly starting to see Dahvie's true colors. This was a 32 year old man yelling at a 19 year old just because she was just trying to be responsible. Obviously not appropriate behavior for someone his age. My current roommate is 32, Dahvie is NOT normal. He finally let it go after my NJ friend calmed him down. She left, and Dahvie rode with us in my friend's car. He sat in the back seat with me, and the energy I felt from his made me sick to my stomach. Anyone ever have that gut feeling when you are around a bad person or when something doesnt feel right? Thats what I got from Dahvie but it was VERY strong. On the way to IHOP I tried to tell him about how his presence in my teenage life impacted me, and told him my backstory, which was quite dark. He didnt say a word. The only time he would talk was if you were talking about him. He changed the subject by showing us songs on the new album they were working on. We got to IHOP and found out they were closed so we ended up traveling all the way into Phillipsberg, New Jersey to eat at a 24 hour diner. We had dinner, I didnt have any money so Dahvie shared some fries he had with his steak dinner. We watched Game of Thrones on his phone, and a gay blowjob scene between the characters Loras Tyrell and Renly Baratheon and Dahvie started to giggle like a school girl, kinda making a scene about it. Kinda proves to me the patterns of the oral rape allegations are actually kinda believable based on his complete fetishization of oral sex. After dinner we went back to the venue to get my ride's car after going back to the band's hotel. Dahvie said he was gonna take a shower and that when they leave to go to their next date in North Carolina, he was gonna let us stay in their room. Which he did. We didnt get to say goodbye to him because we were retrieving the car. Anyways, I personally did not experience any things myself but I saw him treating others like garbage. And to think I told him I was going to start funding the band to help them out. I later found out Jayy left, and that he had HIV, which is why he was sick on the tour. Dahvie forced him to go on the tour instead of getting medical attention. I also found out Dahvie was scamming his fans by not sending the products they ordered and spending money to fly women out to live with them. Which didnt surprise me cause when I was at the Racine, WI show a few months prior, he was in the bathroom the entirety of the pre-show talking to a girl on Skype. It was all around very sketchy behavior. I am very suspicious of him. I learned he does nice things to gain their trust and hold the "acts of kindness" over their heads to manipulate them when they "slip up". I would not be surprised if that is what happened with Jeffree Star. There is so much I gathered from that tour. A few months later my NJ friend who is mutuals with Dahvie, told me something that happened in Ohio, where he moved after Jayy left, that I can not tell anyone...yet. But it was very serious extremely illegal and that he had to suddenly move to Pennsylvania as quickly as possible. I'm not a naive 19 year old anymore. I can see through the bullshit now. The truth will come out someday. If Chris Hansen and the FBI doesnt find ANY evidence to these claims then I will admit I was wrong. But until then I am far more inclined to believe all of these victims. Even if he isnt a rapist, he is still a piece of shit to everyone around him.
This made me sick to my stomach reading, thank you for sharing everything. Gave me a more personal insight into how he actually is when not in front of the media. Everytime I've had that gut instinct that someone's really horrible, it's always 100 percent accurate that they are a horrible person.

I have read all of this and personally believe you.. you said there was something you could not tell anyone and then said yet.. said it was extremely illegal. If that is true you should show proof of a serious inclination of something illegal to someone possibly underage. Or take it to the police but since you're saying this publicly you should show police and show the proof you say you have publicly as well. Especially if you know him personally and could back up such claims. Maybe your NJ friend backing that up too. I'd consider making a video with whatever you're choosing not to say and referring to possible underage illegal activity or something even worse. You leave it open to many possibilities if what you're saying is true. Sound credible, but always need proof to back up such big claims ya know..

I can try to convince my NJ friend to turn in the messages between him and Dahvie about it, this happened in 2017. While Dahvie was still living in Ohio. I hope he still has this. But because of laws, I do not want to talk about this until more comes to surface, however, all I have for my proof is my friend telling me about the situation. So it is word of mouth and that is the weakest form of evidence in the court of law. Hearsay, I can not say anything cause there is no evidence I have on hand , unlike the screenshots and videos others have from Dahvie involving pedophilia. Chris Hansen just uploaded a video on his channel teasing his upcoming interview with his victims next week. The deeper Chris investigates, if what my friend wasnt lying, it will be a confirmation to me too that it was all true. I just want to see this guy in prison. He's terrorized way too many people in his life.

I was too young to be in the scene back then, but now that there's a small "scene revival" community online, it's crazy how many YOUNG "scene kids" (who weren't even alive during the myspace days) now ADORE dahvie & botdf just because "they were the original myspace scene kings"
You see, you're probably more around my age because I was a little kid around those myspace days. My sister & I were hardcore botdf fans to the point where I called her Dahvie & she called me Jayy. 😂 Not only that we would mimic the things that they would do. It's all embarrassing.
Crazy we’re probably close to the same age, because I was too young in the MySpace days as well, I think I set one up in 2009 but forgot the password. But anyways I vividly remember the trends of the late 2000’s and the music scene then. I remember when I was first getting on the internet regularly, mainly UA-cam, so part of me vividly remember’s the first wave of emo/scene kids and their culture, it’s all so nostalgic to me now. I didn’t get into the scene until 2012/2013 when it started to peak, so I missed the pivotal early MySpace days, where many of my favorite bands got their start.

Whoo Chile! Let me tell you, I was going to concerts back in the MySpace days and I remember being told at festivals and such to not go anywhere near Dahvie vanity. And there were tons of threads of people online when I was a teenager talking about foul things that happened on their bus. My boyfriend also works in the music industry. He’s a lighting and sound engineer at a bunch of venues in our area, and he also used to work festivals and promote bands. And you mentioned the Used. He has this hilarious story about how one time Bert McCraken tried to sleep with him on his tour bus.
We all know this kind of thing happens, but Dahvie was doing things so openly that I’m shocked he hasn’t been put away by now. Especially since most of their fans were underaged.

I'm 27 and when I was 15 I was absolutely OBSESSED with BOTDF. Like.... completely obsessed. I was poor and couldnt afford their clothes or merchandise, but I worked hard, mowed lawns, babysat kids, and I was so proud of myself when I finally had the money to walk into Hot Topic and buy BOTDF tshirts and tank tops. When the Jessie Slaughter thing came out, I just rolled my eyes. "Dahvie would NEVER do such a thing! He wouldnt have sex with an 11 year old girl. Hes not like that!!" But as a 27 year old grown woman? I'm absolutely fucking disgusted. And it kills me that someone I was such a huge fan of, was such a sick freak. This hits different than with Michael Jackson. At least with Michael Jackson there was no proof and we could all look away, enjoy the music, and pretend he was a good guy (was that wrong of us? Maybe. Did Michael do it? I dont know! I remember Jessica Leonhart aka Jessi Slaughter and the moment Dahvie Vanity being an alleged predator came to light, I instantly remembered her. We're in the same age group and I remember Dahvie at the time made it seem like she was full of shit, and I remember that video making fun of her and her dad. I found it funny, but now that this is coming to light I realize she probably wasn't lying and I feel like an asshole for laughing at her when I was young.
That is so sad how that Jessi Slaughter thing went down. He could have at least called his fans off and told them to leave that girl and her family alone. He could have made all that shit stop overnight, but he just let it go on, and on. Even if age had made it all up, it's like ok, she's 11, you know, enough is enough, I think she learned her lesson. But now- it turns out that she probably was telling the truth all along. He assaulted that child then stood back and let his fans destroy her family. How could anyone be so evil?

I'm 27 and was so into the wannabe sceney weenie times. I remember BOTDF was so popular but I never listened to them. I was more of a metal head/love classic rock. BOTDF bothered me alot so it was why I never listened to them. Something was always off with Dahvie and I didn't like it and glad I didn't get into them!

Former BoTDF superfan here who adores your candid, empathetic, and endearingly blunt vids. The "it's not your fault" and Jessie Slaughter topics you touched on did nothing but absolutely boost my respect for you.
Transitioning to a slightly lighter note, I'm part of the (electrified, haha xD) scenecore revival community (no, I'm not being ironic, it's a legit thing that many alt peeps still enjoy. Despite being a rivethead/industrial goth, scene still means a lot to me for personal reasons. Getting back years of my life that trauma did not fully allow me to enjoy 💜 currently friendproject is becoming a substitute for the old myspace feel btw!!) and we do our best to discourage idolization of fuckers like this - no matter how fun, cute, or kawaii they are, if they exploit and excessively harm others without a shred of self awareness, they have no place painting themselves as some type of colorful loving accepting soul. The taint Dahvie left on the scene aesthetic and "legacy" (if you will) is just purely gross and I'm EXTREMELY happy seeing this flurry of vids on YT exposing him - including this one which is wonderfully spoken. Makes me feel relieved that kids who are newly attracted to the scenecore revival, whether for the music, fashion, aesthetic, whatever, will hopefully not have to be assaulted by his sick charades and gather the information they need to identify red flags that have been ignored for so long. Sometimes online discussions of who's problematic and who's not simply for drama's sake are a little redundant and disheartening for me, but especially in cases like this, I am SO GRATEFUL that this awareness and intolerance is growing, A poorly masked misogynistic leech is not the hero

Oh, one more thing, for your point about Dahvie rambling about his music "Saving People ~", a bit after the initial rape allegations blew the fuck up and he released Crucified By Your Lies, a song where he compared himself to Jesus Christ while whining about defamation (I am NOT fucking kidding sis), he took a bit of a switch with his aesthetic and lyrical content, incorporating shit like "universal love" and empathetic anti-suicide songs. I really believe that he did that so that he could fall back on it - "I'm not a bad person! I sing about sex but i ALSO discourage teen suicide btw! :D"

This brought back not fond memories, I was “Emo” back in 2010 when I was 13, I remember me and my best friend me and him watched Jeffree on MySpace and thought he was funny, I never liked BOTDF because I always thought they sucked, but I was into FIR, PTV, NSN, Bands I Hate now, I still like FOB and PATD!, but I remember my one friend who I am not friends with anymore because I found out how crazy she was but anyways, she loved Dahvie and when I told her what a creep he was she actually said she was jealous of those girls, but this is the same girl who fell in love with a terrorist so that’s not shocking for me, I’ve always had the instinct that someone was a creep, I even had that feeling with onion boy so I guess I have creep radar.

I find it absolutely comical that the band has said they “saved people” when in reality dahvie has gave multiple girls trauma and actual ptsd that they have carried for YEARS, he absolutely ruined Jessie slaughters life, she was 12 years old and had the entire internet attacking her. Jessie slaughter is the most well known victim because she was the most present on the internet I believe, but he had been sexual towards her and was actually DATING her when she was 10 YEARS OLD. He was TWENTY FIVE. A grown man was DATING this little kid and absolutely destroyed her life. My entire heart goes out to each and every one of dahvie’s victims.
