- In this video I demonstrate how to reset your Clip Studio Paint program back to defaults for PC/Mac and iPad. You can also reset individual features such as workspace, brushes, hotkeys etc from this.

I'm pretty sure you just have saved my sanity! I accidentally somehow vanished a part of my toolbar and hadn't it been for this video, I would've gone crazy.

i made the toolbarbox thingy where you choose pen size, color, brushes vanish, wich box in the reset menu did you reset to make it go back???
You won't need to reset, just go to the window tab at the top and turn back on any windows you've closed👍

THANK YOU! My eraser was making me erase lines twice, leaving cast behind of whatever I was trying to erase. I couldn't fix it-- I even tried reinstalling the program and that didn't work. Luckily I just reset the tools and BAM! It works perfectly now. Thank you!!!

2022.05.24; In the trial version that navigation path closes with the popup for version selection. Here you can navigate in “Pro” Window / Workspace / Reset to default.

No if your artworks are saved it won't delete the art files.

How do I get the tools to the right side of the canvas like you have it? All my tools are on the left side, and it was like that originally, can I reset something to adjust to that.
Another video I watched said to reset Canvas window, Window position, Workspace… and I clicked 'ok' and nothing happened
The windows are moveable. Just click the tab at the top of each window section (basically where the name of most sections are), drag and drop them to a new spot. Hope that helps!

This has nothing to do with the video but i was wondering if someone know how to lower the volume of songs you added to your animations, because when i click on ok after changing the volume it doesnt change it...
I accidentally closed that tab that has the options to choose the types of brushes and switch to the eraser how do i open it again? (I'm a full beginner with Clip Paint Studio)
You can reopen any window and make the show again from the window menu at the top. Select the ones you want open. Should be called sub tool I believe

This should be more accessible on CSP software, not on the Clip Studio one. It took me several tries to even click the icon correctly when I was doing it wrong (they should've been more specific).
Does this fix icon texts that aren’t showing up? Because most of my texts aren’t visible to the point where navigating the workspace is near impossible.
Couldn't tell you unfortunately. You'd have to test it.

It's not supposed to, however it can sometimes seem to reset some other things anyway. Use at your own risk I'd say.

Have you gone into the windows tab and checked if your layers tab is checked? Try checking and unchecking it

Depends on which settings you check to reset. Look them over and read the descriptions, but I can't guarantee that it still won't somehow reset your brushes. Best of luck!

It might help. Could be worth a shot. Careful with resets as it may change things you don't want to change. You can see my video on resetting CSP here.

Dumb question does it delete your downloaded brushes ??? Like the assets ? I want to reorganize my brushes because it's so messed up but I'm afraid to lose my assets
It resets them if you select that setting to reset. So yes you would lose all that. The system isn't perfect in my experience and it may reset things you didn't ask it to. If you must do this you may want to be sure what brushes you need, back them up or figure out how to re-download. It'll be tedious. Good luck!
I’ve been looking everywhere to see if anyone had the same “pen pressure” problem with their pens. My pens says it has pen pressure but when I draw I don’t get those smooth pen pressured lines. I went on my GAMON tablets program and the tablet “seems” to work perfectly with the pen pressure but nothing at all with the CSP program. I also use a windows 10 pro (but switched to the windows 11) and use a GAMON tablet, please help me 😭

If you want to move locations of the windows you can drag them. Drag from the tab at the top of each window

The CSP launcher is a different thing. You can get to it by clicking file and then it should have something like Open Clip Studio Paint 'Something'
