thanks john! Honestly there's no relation here, I mean you can follow this same tutorial to apply to any text rig by adjusting the Motext/Text settings here, including text edge pro!
Please make some basic cartoon character animations videos. There are no such videos on youtube about that. I am desperately searching that. Thanks sir. Thanks thanksss
good stuff from EJ as usual .. THX! but as comment why didn't you get the same effect with an PolyFX and MoExtrude over the MoText? so much quicker, easier and more controllable ; )
That's an awesome alternative! One thing I've found with that though is that with big meshes, it'll slow down considerably and you also don't have the ability to round out those edges for nice reflective glints
good points EJ! a Connect-Object and a Smooth-Deformer help though ... but as we have a saying in Europe: many roads lead to Rom ; ) which simply means that there are many approaches to achieve the same results inside C4D. anyway Thanks again for sharing your way to Rom!
Thanks for the tuts! (again!) : I have a question. As soon as I'm applying the "Connect" object to the Cloner "objet connection", I see the exact same thing as we should, but my computer has a really hard time to animate the camera mouvements around my logo. The first time I did it, my Glitter object had fillet subdivisions of "5", and I had to close C4D entirely because it just hangeg. I've rebuild from scratch, taking care that my Glitter was now set to a "2" for subdivisions ; it sort of cured the thing, but it's still laggy. Should I upgrade my computer completely, or is there a setting that I've missed ? ... My computer specs are : GFX : GeForce GTX 680_PCIE_SSE2 (4Gb Ram) CPU : i7 3930K (3.2ghz clocked to 3.8 watercooled). RAM : 64GB DDR3 DDR3 1600 SSD : Samsung 840 pro 256Gb MOBO : Gigabyte X79-UP4
I guess I'll have to throw a few bucks into upgrading then... Do you think that having multiple GFX cards can improve the workflow? / I'm an oldschool Maya user, and I'm really trying to get into C4D for animations and motion graphics (more than trying to make realistic animations in Maya) ; the render times are really killing my enjoyability and creativity in the long run. Back in the days, having a huge CPU helped a lot for renders,.. So my question is still : do you think that multiple GFX cards could help my workflow in C4D as well as my render times? / Thank you so much.
hmm its okey, but not really clean ^^. btw, is a 1080 ti enough to do animations in octane renderer ? i mean, not only stills, real animations, MOVING ! XD :D
you can make a lot cleaner one I'm sure! but i didnt wanna spend all day tweaking this disco text! :) 1080TI is what I have for animations, for sure. the more the better!
@@eyedesyn @eyedesyn I'm certainly finding its quite different as for example, slicing the caps face of the disco letters into quadrangles isn't resulting in the same effect.
Awesome tutorial, thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for watching!!!
This was an absolutely Fantastic Tutorial! Subscribed ;) Thank you!!

Great as usual master!
Thanks Nero! Hope you found it useful!
Awesome.... You are the best EJ.
Thanks Abdul!
connect object is my go to helper too whenever there is something unexpected with cloners and geometry going on :-)
It's the Swiss Army Knife of Cinema 4D!
Really helpful! Big thanks!
CHUCK NORRIS WATCHES MY TUTS!!!! ;) Thanks !
Another killer tut bro! I love them. I have the type plug in from you .. how does this relate to that?
thanks john! Honestly there's no relation here, I mean you can follow this same tutorial to apply to any text rig by adjusting the Motext/Text settings here, including text edge pro!
Pls make a tutorial on character rigging from scratch
Laissez - faire +1

Working on something like that in the future! Stay tuned!
This is really cool, Thanks
Glad you dig it, thanks for watching!
Thanks for this tutorial!
You bet! Hope you enjoyed it!
I will thank you if you make the same video in the Cinema 4D R23 version
Some of the options are not like in the video
Thank you
Great tutorial! But do ever do live action tutorials for like ground break?
thanks! ive never done that but there are a lot of tutorials on that subject on youtube!

Hey Kevlin! It does sound like you're in need of an upgrade, that GFX card is fairly weak for 3D! I am running a 1080TI and it's great!

best teeth in MoGraph world
If I made this could I save it as a preset and like copy and paste/change the text
Totally!
eyedesyn
give a link to the font please
I have a question, how can I render a animation without background?
check on render with alpha in the render settings

Finding that quadrangles don't behave in the same way in Cinema 2023. Can't uniformly spread around the cap settings.
Yeah they updated everything but there are similar settings
@@eyedesyn @eyedesyn I'm certainly finding its quite different as for example, slicing the caps face of the disco letters into quadrangles isn't resulting in the same effect.
The only problem: the final .c4d file after saving became 2 Gb (Mac R20.026)
maybe you had too many subdivisions
What happened during the fade at 9:51?
nothing changed in the project, i just edited out a pause
more octane tutorials
more to come for sure!
Project file?
Sorry I don't provide project files! I show you every step how to re-create it so give it a go!
