The last few I have received have so much tension they are impossible to adjust using the rail on the rifle and have to be moved forcefully by hand.

I have one of these but I took it off. I never could get it set so I can load it without it slipping or it's too tight to feel when it's loaded. Back to Harris for me.

Never had a Harris, but I guess they are popular not without a good reason. But I don't like that the springs are on the outside, I know that this is not a problem for the job a bipod is designed for, but I am afraid I would get thing getting caught in the spring, so I prefer bipods without springs ;-).

Do you have problem with tilting function? Mine doesn't tilt at all, it's totally tight...

To be honest I have no problems with tilting. But I didn't tighten the nut (the one with the handle) so there is a little resistance but it tilts very nice.
Maybe you have to loosen the nut a little.

@@wojciech_migda I have strange situation. Rotating works well, and handle can lock rotating. Handle should control tilting and rotating both, but in my case tilting isn't possible.

@@radovanpetkovic4446 Maybe you have to loosen the nut that is at the bottom of the middle piece or the hex bolt on top (you can see this in the film at around 7:52), because if rotation is possible than tilting should also work, because as it seems to me there is a "sphere-joint/hinge" that is responsible for rotation and tilting.
Maybe some debree got into it and blocks it.

This has been a problem on all but one (of 4) that I have received this year. Current quality control is horrible.
