1st off, the thumbnail is INSANEEE. 2nd, completely agree with your review. i own a black copy and love it. used to main the beast x so the size/weight difference was an adjustment at first, but like you said this mouse forces you to play "comfortable" which i love
I never thought I’d buy a Razer mouse. But I did and the hype is legit. Have had multiple versions of GPX and even quite a few Pulsar and Glorious mice. This is hands down the best mouse I’ve ever put my hands on as cliché as that is going to sound.
Thank god. I don't like how Logitech just sat comfy on their good shape and decided to change absolutely nothing for years. Good to see some more innovation on top.
Hey. I made the reddit thread about the lift off stopping tracking. It's not just lifting the mouse that causes the issue. There is something wrong where you can move the mouse very slowly (like 1 pixel at a time slow) and it will not track for a couple of millimeters. This does not happen on 8khz, only on 4 and below. There appears to be a dead zone on anything that's not 8k. Hopefully Razer fixes this soon.
Someone on another video said this. Ive tested it on my copy and its fine,it tracks to the left as well as it does to the right. and im moving it at the most micro level i can. Im using the white version too which people are saying is the faulty version, im also only using 1000hz.
Thanks for commenting! Didn't know there was a thread about the whole thing, was just going off of my own experience. I also hope that a firmware update will fix this very soon 🙏
this mouse is objectively one of the best out there, subjectively speaking tho i just couldnt get used to the shape, it felt too wide and bulky coming from smaller mice like the beast x and op18k and even compared to the mouse i usually default to the gpx it still felt to big and wide, i think for me the problem lies in the hump being so wide because the grip width isnt that different compared to the gpx but the hump flaring out and becoming wider makes the mouse feel quite a bit bigger at least in my 18x9 hands, idk maybe i just didnt give it enough time to adjust but i dont think that is the case, my perfomance in game was always just super inconsistent and overall not great.
If you want to try the v3 shape but don't want to fork out $160 or 180€ try the viper v3 hyperspeed in your local marketplace. I got mine for $28 used in mint condition. The sensor is a little high and it uses a batter but for less than 50 bucks, you cant beat that. Also if you like the orochi v2, this is a good upgrade. no creaking
@@Kenjataimu888 its the same sensor as the deathadder v3 pro which is the 3950. razer doesn't have exclusivity over it any more and that's why all the clones and similar spec options are coming out now. but yeah that's not a bad buy either. the viper v3 pro is using the focus pro gen 2 35k so that might be the paw 3960 or 4000 or something we wont know the name until exclusivity is over.
I've got the same issue with the LoD.. its ridicilous because i'm a very sensitive gamer when it comes to fast tracking etc and it could be annoying at time to be precise in key moments. Also great video thanks for the review.
After setting up my Viper V3 Pro both the Viper & DAV3 Wired have bugged out sensors. Kinda crazy because DAV3 wired worked perfect up until setting up and installing Viper V3. In love with the shape but can't get rid of the "deadzone" or sensor issues on any settings on both mice now.
Have you tried it with other mousepads ... That is a very odd issue that not many people are having so i think it comes down to something in your setup.
@@iJansport better after latest firmware. Not a peripheral problem. Tried Artisans, SteelSeries, Razer mouse pads and these issues persisted but seem better after v1.11 firmware.

Just got the black version of the v3p and it is near perfect for claw grip. Also, how would you compare lamzu's skates vs v3p stock skates vs corepad ptfe?
Mouse is perfect on paper but ive heard people having sensor issues so it instantly disqualifies it. Might have to wait for next big batch that there will be no sensor issues.
Currently on the hyperspeed version of this mouse and was thinking about picking up a DA V3 hyperspeed as a backup, as I had enjoyed the Deathadder Elite in the past. Would you say it's worth getting? The price of the two mice I mentioned is one of this too 😂
tried the mouse, sold it, and went back to my viper v2 with the 8k dangle. the mouse is great, but the shape hasn't pulled out what the v2 was pulling out of me.
How long did you give it? My intial thoughts were that I hated the shape, but then I dropped 38 kills in my first game of CS I played with it. 😂 soooo I’m gonna try to see if I grow to be okay with the shape
Honestly doubt it. Same tech for the most part. Use your mouse until it breaks unless it cramps your hands. Buying different shaped gaming mice is a huge expensive rabbit hole always searching for that end game product.
You can still palm grip it, but I simply didn't want to go into that since I wouldn't know how most palm grippers use it 😥 the hump might not be big enough for some, but I simply don't know
@@jakeufps The hump isn't the issue, it seems that just like the superlight, it's not wide enough in the back compared to the V2 and it won't cover my thumb area. Currently the superlight puts some strain on my muscles around the thumb because of that
I still have a flaw with Viper V3. My skin get stuck underneath the bottom of the mouse. And it actually hurts my hand. Many mice i don't have this problem. But Viper V3 and some others of my collection. Gives me pain. And it's overpriced
