razer has confirmed there are UV protecting additives in the white version's coating to prevent yellowing which might be why it feels so good compared to the black ones.

Hey boarzy, im currently using a dav3 pro smooth touch edition as a palm gripper 20x10 hands. Thing is i get some cramps from the mouse sometimes at my palm and pointing finger and i think its because of the height of the dav3 pro. Would you consider the viper v3 pro a good mouse for palm grip with my handsize?
Never go for white but that coating convinced me… coming tomorrow! Very excited!

Save your money bro, the mice market stagnates slowly. We have reached a point where nearly every mouse is very good. The same happened to the keyboard market where we have the wooting as the defacto standard for a good keyboard and the other companies just cloning from it. And 180$ for a mice is crazy
Just save your money. This has better performance but it has worse shape and it's bigger than X2v2. No performance will save it if you love the X2v2 shape.
i mean if the x2v2 works well for you, why the need to find a different shape?

i miss the old rubber grips that were built into the deathadder ngl it was so comfy to have that built into the mouse
Literally perfect timing I was just about to buy the gpx
Would love to see reviewers checking the flatness of the base of mice since i have noticed a lot have a banana base which ruins how the skates glide and in some cases like zowie C series mice like the FK most of the bottom skate does not make contact with the pad causing the top skate to be flat and grippy vs a loose feeling bottom skate which ruins the overall glide.

GPX was the goat cuz of the safe shape, everything else's mid, not surprised for Razer and these other brands to eventually beat it, especially when Razer got the VIP access to all these tech

I bought a gpx2 a few weeks ago after using gpx1 for 3 years and have always palm gripped it but noticed the sides are too flat. would the viper v3 be a much better pickup?

IMO the Razer v3 pro is rly good for fingertip. Easy clicks even at the middle, low back, enough room, ofc its not a GWolves but its perfect for switch-ups like going from Palm to Fingertip and back to back

I think it might be a while for something to take me off the OP1 8K. Razer should do a mini and wired version, would be based my hands are too small for anything close to GPX size.

For me personally owned the VMSE really love the materials and weight but the size and shape is not my cup of tea, owned superlight before but never liked the software compared to razers (and the polling rate as well), so once i saw this and the new shape looked similar to superlight and the size as well, can’t wait to get this to my hand!

I do wonder if they improved the construction of the scroll compared to the Viper V2 Pro. Had to get mine replaced after 8 months of usage because the scroll wheel kept misfiring when not touched and randomly going in opposite directions.

how does it compare with the ulx tiger shape for claw? is the sensor that good that you can feel a difference?
It flares out less towards the bottom than the tiger, I would say this hump feels more designed for claw if that makes sense. And the sensor difference is tricky, I feel like the input is just "tighter" and clearer when using the v3 pro. At the same time its not like the tiger sensor is lacking, this is just perfect feeling
can you check if your mouse scroll moves left and right side when you push it? like it wobbles a little but not to the point that it makes wobbling sound when you shake it.

I've spent so much money on mice. Finally a mouse worthy of a gpx upgrade. Good hump. Mouse click shields on the sides for no skin pinching. Amazing sensory position. 8k polling. Good coating I have black. Amazing clicks. Low weight. Awesome mouse.

I've ordered Burst air 2, just 47 gram at 90 euro. Recently I've got Burst pro non air at 68 gram from Roccat, I was very pleased by the form and feel. I have also Viper ultimate it makes creaking noises when pressing buttons.
I also have a Viper Ultimate, I took it apart and lubricated the buttons with plastic grease, half a year of active gaming has passed - everything is fine

shape is way better for claw on the vv3 and 14 grams isn't anything that matters rlly on a larger shape like this

Could've spent more time on scroll wheel and if it actually does include the TTC dust proof encoder. With how prevalent the issue were on previous gen its a pretty big deal if it does include it.

They’ve been improved by a lot ever since Deathadder V3 Pro and the Viper V2 Pro I have the Deathadder V3 and have had it for around a year and I have zero issues at all

Nah that shouldnt be a concern, but I'm sure its possible if youre pouring out sweat and digging your fingers in after tons of use

Nice review. I already bought GPXS2 like 2 months ago, because my previous mouse just broke. If I could choose it now, I will definitely take Viper V3 Pro. GPXS2 is not bad, I like the shape etc. but no DPI change button is stupidly annoying. In GHUB you have 5 DPI profiles - for what XDD ??
