I have 2 customers on subscriptions so far and I can verify that it is a lot of work starting a business like this. Especially if you are also simultaneously learning about how to grow and use microgreens for yourself. I can also verify that once all the initial set-up and learning is out of the way, it's a lot easier and enjoyable. There's always something to learn but the focus becomes marketing and scaling up.
@@PreppedReView I have increased my subscriber count by 50%. I now have 3 subscribers lol. So far I have only put out a half dozen organic posts on FB and IG. I'm planning to attend a farmers market or two this year as Donny suggests it's a great way to build that subscriber count. I'll probably also start paid ads on FB/IG soon.

I posted in community groups on FB and that's probably how they found me. I have considered door hangers and just blasting certain areas near me or targeting more affluent areas around me.

I started with mushroom cultivation a couple years ago, and noticed the similarities in growing. I feel since I’ve had a successful venture in mycology, microgreens should be a great business in Vegas!
Lets say I want to grow microgreens for profit but don't really want to set up at a market, or maybe not really good a speaking to a store owners. Is there a profitable way to grow them, dehydrate them, and sell them in bottle form? This would help eliminate the need to "get to market before they wilt" and give me a different avenue to sell them.

Hi Donny! How do you store your Promix if you open a bail and don't use it all? I mixed some MP and Gai 4-4-4 and covered it with a plastic bag and pulled it up a few days later and there was a grey mold. Should I throw out all of that soil? Could it be mycorrhizea?

In this video, you mentioned very briefly refrigeration to stage crops before delivery. Just to confirm, did you use a refrigerator and if so, how much capacity did you need?
Totally!! I wish you the best of luck in getting started back up again. I do use a refrigerator. Its the size of a normal fridge freezer combo but all fridge. It's not super big which is why i typically split my delivery route once it gets to about $1000

No, the dept of health has no jurisdiction over farms, only food processing and ready-to-eat-foods. Two totally separate departments. This is why you want to fall under dept of ag, selling raw agricultural produce, not ready to eat food

@@DonnyGreens i realize the message matters. And I am sure they would buy maybe 30.00 in a month. But my area has been hit pretty hard with inflation and it wasnt a rich area to begin with. I am not saying it cant be done in some areas. I just see people struggling with them at farmers markets. I think in this area maybe combine them with a few tradtional veggies that people are use too may be a more viable way to go until the market for them becomes more wide spread. I think they would be a great addition too. Just want to be realistic and acknowledge not every area can or will support the same things. Its a fantastic idea. And i plan on incorporating them in my farm as well. 👍

FYI, Donny Greens is legit. He doesn't price gouge, like other microgreen traps, and he actually wants you to succeed. I purchased his One Day Take Away Challenge and it works! Our food industry is been taken over my manufactures who are centered on profit over quality. Microgreens are the extreme opposite. If you get anything out of exploring this, you will give yourself better health by far. I've noticed I can think better and I've just ordered micro tomato plants you can grow in a pot with my microgreens grow room! This a win win.

The best approach is to first make sure your area can even support this. These days no one i know is going to spend 30 dollars a week for microgreens.
Every area can support this. Everybody eats and needs to improve their health. Its a matter of telling your message
