To the point and clear video. Body parts disappearing into the virtual background looks funny and tacky, if we lean back a little. How to avoid blurry outlines around the body without using a green screen?
It's great to say that you can do it without a green screen, but you didn't offer any assistance for the problems that many people face - bleeding, blurring, speckling, artifacts etc.
Hi Dani - thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I recommend you address the things in this video to fix those issues: ua-cam.com/video/PujQcbI4x8w/v-deo.html The main thing I would emphasise is having an uncluttered and consistent background to cut down on artificacts also. Does that help you?
@@TimHarrisVideo hahaha not only do you use a misleading title on this video, but you also try to make this person watch another one of your videos, which is not going to solve the issue. What a joke!
so im on my classes right now while watching this and i tried everythig you did but except the green screen check cause if i dont chek the "i have a green screen" then the virtual background will not work
Great straight forward tips. Only thing that didn’t work for me was switching between windows when I hit pause. I will need to practice. Otherwise many thanks
My home computer is oodles more powerful than my work computer, but my home computer somehow doesn't meet the requirements, while my work computer somehow does. Any insights? Thanks!
Hi there 🤚🏼when I add a photo from my own collection it adds it to virtual background upside down ? How do I rotate the photo ...I use a I Mac 💻 thanks
I haven’t seen that before! Open up the photo in preview and rotate the image 180 degrees then save it. Then see if it comes into zoom the right way up. If not, try and rotate it in another app
I did that in postproduction. I am using a green screen when I record the video of myself. Then I keep out the green screen, and overlaid on top of the recorded desktop video. But, you can also use “slides as virtual background” in zoom to do a presentation, watch this: ua-cam.com/video/VuxSjLzCrW4/v-deo.html
I have the same processor so i had to buy a green screen. I got one that connects to the back of my chair and now the virtual background works myproductiveplace.com
Make sure the pictures are in 16:9 (landscape) ratio. It helps if you chose photos that are already in landscape mode. Let me know if that doesn’t answer your question
I have a problem. It is like when I turn off the green screen It said "Your device does Not support" something like that And I can't do it I have to use green screen to do it although I don't have one
I use a green screen with good lighting. Then I select “I have a green screen” in my settings. It will also help if you have clean and clear background with no bright lights. Also good lighting on just yourself helps
its kind of dumb because your processor can definitely handle it, but zoom decides to not allow it. You would need a better gen processor, but I don't see the point just for a zoom background
Thanks for the question. It’s hard to answer without seeing a screenshot from your image. But I would guess either: 1 - You have the “I have a green screen” box checked. Make sure that is unchecked. Or 2 - your background colour is too similar to you and your clothes. Try having a different wall behind you. Let me know you go :)
My friend who dressed up as Venus the goddess of 💕 and beauty for Halloween 2020 needs to master this tutorial very seriously. 👍🏻 if you urgently agree.
@@TimHarrisVideo I know, but I know a website where you may find some Halloween virtual backgrounds which is either Bing.com or Google Images on Google.com.
Then you won’t be able to use virtual green screen. If you want to change your background, you will need to use a green screen, as that doesn’t require a faster computer

Desk top zoom account there is NO place anywhere to click to upload your own background file. Neither is there on the app. The chat (for help) is a bot. It won't let you speak to a human. So how are my friends uploading their own background files and blur background. My app is updated. Nothing is saying I don't have qualified device software.
there was so little information on how to actually use the virtual background without the green screen, why all the tips that have nothing to do with the actual topic???
