Mute and unmute-Such an important feature. More people by now should've learned how important it is to mute yourself during these meetings.

It's not just videos that are complicated. Zoom just isn't as intuitive as Skype.

Yours is the 3rd Zoom tutorial I've clicked on. I will see if I can keep up. I could not with the others. People just rolling the info off their tongue. When teaching, presenters need to go much slower. Listener is having to remember, take notes maybe, is likely hearing new vocabulary, etc. All these things require a presenter to slow way down.

Loved this video. I have been using zoom as an online teacher for the first time in my teaching career. It is pretty challenging. But, I learned a lot and I also love purple! Nice earrings also. Thanks for smiling and keeping it simple.

It really is fairly straightforward. Just download it and get started. See yourself in the camera. Hear yourself speak. See what buttons there are on the bottom of the screen. U really will be absolutely fine. 🤗Have fantastic meetings!!🥳💥

When I hit age 70, I thought I knew enough computer-eze to carry me the rest of the way, LOL! Well, I never anticipated Zoom! My children tech supports up and left home and forced me to learn this myself. Thank you Claudia, for spending so much time on just the basics. So many vids want to teach me all kinds of Zoom tricks, but assume I already know the simple stuff. You gave me the foundation I needed to actually go to a zoom meeting. Thank you, thank you!

Your tutorial is better than most. Still it amazed me that you did not cover both aspects that a beginner is needing to know right away: You did well on "How to Join a Meeting." But there was nothing about the crucial "How to Host a Meeting and notify your potential viewers how to find and log on to the Zoom program you are hosting at the right time/date!!! I still haven't a clue. So I can't host a meeting until I learn this!

Hi Claudia, thank you for the video... I would like to know what type of camera and lens you used for the UA-cam video... and did you use the same for zoom... I'm looking for a good hdmi digitalcamera, video capture card and lighting... Is all this necessary for good quality video image? or do I just need a webcam?
