Dear Shankar,
India is no more a flat democracy but an economically vibrant democracy. The four pillars of Democracy: Legislature, Executive, Judiciary, and Media have always failed miserably in sharing information with and finding solutions for public.
Media have always been owned, run, and managed by the so-called religious minorities: Brahmins, Muslims, and Christians. India cannot afford sharing information as before as today because it's very hugely and abnormally surrounded by its enemies.
Media shall focus on public affairs, issues, and problems directly impacting common man's day-to-day life and shall not get into the Executive side of democracy beforehand. For example, if Media had known the cancellation of Agri policies, the outcome or end of the protests would not have been as smoother as it was. Pokhran is a classic example of achieving success by blind-folding media.
We all know how Burkha Dutt screwed up the mission of Taj Attack by broadcasting the size, frequency, payload of Indian commandoes and how the brain behind it sitting in Pakistan effectively used and exited unhurt by her idiocy of reporting.
What Arnab is doing is nothing, but the Fox-Newsqueue style that will not fly or may find its own space. India is a rich nation of resources but a poor nation of very poor governance. The British pleaded and begged to the Congress & Co and in the Committee that India was not ready to govern itself. We could not prove them wrong till date.
India's problems do not and will not come from outside but within. Good news is that it's still a country and carries its identity successfully. Else, it would have been like African countries such as Ethiopia, Sudan, etc.,
How many of will take up or continue with this Media job on UA-cam if UA-cam stops its payment model? It would be hardly 10% of UA-camrs who have some basic needs (Food, Clothing, and Shelter) in place, correct?
India will be the most liberated market for employment in the world because it demands the least qualification to do a given job. In developed countries, one needs a proper or related degree or certification to get a break into journalism whereas in India, a dog can drive; a cat can cook, and a pig can make popcorns. It is a country of the Unqualifieds who can govern, lead, and manage the Qualifieds unfortunately and eternally.

If savukku & shabir are honest they should accept the fact that tamil media are in the pockets of dmk. If North media is Modi media then tamil media played a very dirty role in defaming admk government and Modi personally and promoting Stalin more than his stature. Y should Modi cultivate the media when you have total contempt and hatred for him. Even though I'm promodi I donate some money for scroll,wire,print etc for the effort they are putting to spread false stories and hatred against Modi government.
