- I face the coldest storm of my life in this 24h survival challenge. After preparing the animals, I go hunting & fishing for food. This catch & cook has me ice fishing & hunting for quail in the remote wilderness in sub 0 F temperatures...

Casually adding underwater shots to your ice fishing videos is such a flex, nobody does it as good as Leif! Loved the hunt and cook, and also just the general homestead life content is fun too.

a trick from an Ice Fisherman here, use a 5 gallon bucket with the cover on to sit. You can also store a bunch of gear in it and keeps it dry. I even got a seat warmer on mine. I started watching your vids and love them keep up the good work.

I just saw a video of someone using an old fridge as a water trough to keep water from freezing solid & another idea to use a propane burner under a raised trough so the animals always had water.
