You mention straight out if a horror movie. Corey is a horror movie freak. All of his masks have roots in his favorite horror movies. He was involved in a documentary series called In Search of Darkness where actors, stars, and creators broke down 80s horror movies and Corey was involved. His current mask is based on a character in Clive Barker’s masterpiece NightBreed. The character is the serial killer of the movie which is played by horror legend David Cronenberg!
You two gotta watch the movie BLACK ROSES. It’s about a metal band and they are demons and they go from town to town and play gigs then they start killing people. Great movie 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I'm of the mind, Slipknot doesn't intend to portray themselves as the antagonists. So, although some members might revel in the idea of being the psycho killer in a movie, I feel, as a collective, they would disagree with it. 2p
