Yes. True! I go early, read, have no screen but it is stress and wretched pills which make it worse. I could write a book about mismanagement of my case in U.K.🙏
I suffer from severe anxiety and I started doing a simple progressive sleep meditation where it talks to thru your body and your breathing. The challenge was to do it for 56 days and I’m so happy to say that despite my apnea and sleep issues, I’m now sleeping they the night, falling asleep faster and if I do wake up, I do the meditation and all right to sleep. My emotional health issues are better and I’m loving going to sleep. I did do god sleep hygiene. No tv or phone in the bedroom. Relaxing before bed and no caffeine after 3pm
Hi Dr. Sleep, I have OSA and had Catheter Ablations for AFib, now I’m throwing lots of Central Sleep Apneas. I was at 10/5, so I went to 9/4 (still 5.9 Central’s per hour), so now I’m going to 8/4. All of this is on a BiPap. I hope I don’t need an ASV. Before my Catheter Ablations my A/H Index was under 2 per hour. So it’s not like I just need to “adjust” to the Bipap and Central’s will go away. They’re a new phenomenon. So now I’m going to lower my Bipap to 8/4 and see how I do. Have you ever heard of this happening?
You can't control sleep so quit the meds - anxiety makes sleep difficulty so get up and do something you like and your brain will then allow you to sleep
I usually wake up between 2-3 in the mornings and find it difficult to go back to sleep. I discovered CBD oil. It takes about 1 hour, and back to sleep I go. Time and again. I find CBD to be a good stress releaser. Speak to your doctor about CBD oil. I am not a doctor or an adviser.
