When ITG was new and played at Scorpio in Charlotte, NC, the floor between the dance floor and the main bar became a dance floor...really the entire first floor, second floor, the whole bar danced. It was phenomenal...the crowds response and the track itself.

Is it really? I’d believe that a remix album is mainly aiming at hard core fans. I’d also believe that the vast majority of them (me being one of them) would have already heard or bought or somehow included in their music lists all the remixes that are included in the remix album, or at least the ones they like. So hard core fans have no reason to purchase the remix album, while wider audience would prefer the radio versions of the songs, instead of remixes, some of which are bound to sound outdated, since they’re produced decades ago.
Wouldn’t it be better if she’d release new remixes of her songs? Or even include non official remixes, that could even be selected by fans’ voting? That would fortify the fan to artist bonding and would reward ethically and financially all these remixers that have given to her fans countless new reasons to revisit her songs. The net is filled with versions of Madonna’s songs not just comparable to the official ones but way better and certainly more innovative.
I mean have you heard dens54, dubtronic, sartori (to name but a few) mixes of Madonna’s songs?

This year, 2022, her "Frozen (remix)" with DJ Sckick was #01 airplay in Turkey for 4 weeks and also got TOP 40 Airplay chart in other countries, including in France where was even TOP 20 Airplay Hit. In France the song was even 15 weeks on the Official SIngles Chart peaking at #64 (it was also TOP 100 in Germany and Switzerland to my knowledge).

She needs to hire Dubtronic to officially remix her whole catalogue. Every remix that Dubtronic does is a masterpiece. Retains the integrity of the songs while making them shiny and new… I felt like a virgin all over again when I discovered the remixes they created.

My family visited some friends in L.A. around Christmas time in 1985 --- we went to Disneyland and virtually EVERY teen girl there was dressed like Madonna --- the big bowtie in the hair, everything --- I knew Madonna was a cultural tour de force at that point !!

When house music and techno became popular at the edge of 1990, this retro electro-dance sound came out of "vogue" for a long while, but since last decade it's been a sound that many indie artists (not so much the mainstream which focused on trap beats) are trying to reproduce and it's just so good. I'm ready for more of this sound.
Imagine Madonna going on a stadium tour again and performing a setlist that would exist out of the remixes that are on the new album!
Into The Groove deserves to enter the USA Billboard Hot 100 on it's own because chart policies denied it back then as it was the B side to Angel. Which "smart" Warner exec decided that? Madonna would have had more than 12 Hot 100 # 1 singles surely if not because of some foolish decisions.

I usually listen to Hard Rock and I was very familiar with Madonna from the MTV days and enjoyed some of her music but did not purchase any. Fast-forward to 2015 and I hear this song on the radio and for some reason it gets stuck in my head. Next thing you know I'm purchasing all of her vinyl and CD Studio releases and some remixes. Will probably purchase this if it has some extended cuts and remixes that I do not have already.
