I didn’t realize until editing that I went the wrong direction when I did the circling part of my circling Taiwan swirl. 🤣 I still love the soap, but I think the ends would have looked nicer had I circled clockwise. It’s one of my favorite swirls to do. Thank you for watching! - Holly :)
Your soaps are really beautiful, I love your videos, today I saw your first salt soap, the truth amazed me a lot of all your overcoming, because everything changed, and the love and passion for soap art paid off, now you see that you have your own workshop!!! My sincere congratulations and I hope someday I can be as great as you, greetings from Mexico
It was very beautiful Its eyes pleasing and soothing and loved the end how you teach your recipies I really started to learn from your soap making videos and subscribed too. Thank you madam!!!!❤️
I tried your recipe two times. The first time I thought I must have done something wrong. It was very lye heavy tested in the 11/12 PH range. I tried it again a few days later and the same thing happened. prior to beginning I always put the recipe into so Calc the soap your recipe had all the right bells, bar quality numbers all seem to be within zone as does the water to lye ratio. I’ll try again with one of my own recipes. I do love your instructional videos. Thank you for the inspiration..
The pH level of a soap does not indicate that the soap is lye heavy. That is a myth! It is quite normal for handcrafted soap to have high pH, especially when first made. You will know if it is lye-heavy by doing a zap test.
I love the Taiwan swirl, I think it looks so cool! I noticed you went the other direction when you started the swirl lol, I thought well maybe she's trying it the other way this time, but it still came out pretty 😊. I was wondering why you use Lard instead of beef tallow? I love tallow in my soaps and body butters ❤. I have the owl molds too, I love owls. Thank you for the video, always look forward to them😊. 😊😊😊
Hi Holly! Thank you so much for your beautiful videos. They are so helpful to me. I have a question. I make tallow soap. Every time I use shea or cocoa butter I end up with stearic spots. I have to soap hotter with tallow, usually around 120-130. I melt my hard oils first and then add the liquids. Do you have any suggestions that might help? Thank you!
Beautiful.. I tried this, but I flunked badly. How to you keep your batter liquidity for so long? Mine always get hard quickly. Any advise please! I do only Vegan recipes.
